Ebonystar lept on to the hollow log and purred in his silky deep voice, "Let all cats old enough to catch there own prey gather beneath the hollow log for a clan meeting." He smiled to himself. He loved making kits in to apprentices and he loved haveing apprentices.
The four kits scrambled up to stand below their leader. Crowkit was trembling with excitement, as was Leafkit and Dapplekit. Twilightkit managed to control himself, but only the gleam of pride in his eyes gave away his excitement.
Ebonystar gazed warmly at the kits, "From now on until these cats have earned their warrior names they shall be known as Crowpaw, Leafpaw, Dapplepaw and Twilightpaw." He turned to Skyleaf, "Skyleaf you are ready for your first apprentice. You will mentor Twilightpaw." He smiled warmly at the blue gray tom.
Pride swelled in Skyleaf's heart. "Thank you, Ebonystar." He padded over to his son and tenderly touched noses with him. They then padded over to the edge of the clearing to watch the rest of the ceremony.
Mosstail beamed at his brother who gave him an encouraging nod. He smiled and looked up at his leader. "Thank you, Ebonystar. I will do my best." He padded over to Leafpaw and touched noses with her. They padded over to sit beside Twilightpaw and Skyleaf. "Can you believe it, Twilightpaw?" cried Leafpaw. "We're going to be training together!" Twilightpaw smiled weakly and turned his attention back to the naming ceremony.
Hazelpelt padded over to Rainpelt. "Congratulations, I'll bet they'll be great warriors. today, when I was taing them to you, they wanted to go themselves. they have a lot of spirit," Hazelpelt whispered to her with a smile.
Ebonystar smiled the cats. He was glad the had joined Stormclan. He turned back to the eager apprentices, "Summerpelt is ready for an apprentice. He will train Crowpaw."
