Mosstail hissed at the StormClan leader but Skyleaf silenced him. "Hush, brother," he snapped and turned back to Ebonystar. "No," he replied politely. "I am Skyleaf, and this is my brother Mosstail, and his mate Violet." Rainpelt noticed that he made sure not to make her the center of attention. She shot him a thankful look.

Ebonystar's eyes narrowed at the tom. "You and your brother carry a warrior's name even though you are a rouge. Why?" He asked uncertain. His normal stunning gaze was now full of curiosity. He made the fur on his neck lie flat. "You are in your own territory and not the cats we are looking for but why is she here?" He mewed deeply.
