IMO

For this IMO, many users PMed me an answer to this question: What is your favorite Clan: Thunder, River, Wind, Shadow, or Sky? Why is this one your favorite? It isnt always your home Clan! Here are their answers!

Shadowstorm: I like ShadowClan because the cats are similar to me just a bit. We're quiet and reserved, but can deal with very little (I own few things and they eat very little). I likely disagree with others' way of thinking, and I'm not religious (this is a reference to the Power of Three books where ShadowClan...... spoiler. Never mind).  Also, I find my "fur standing" when others cross into my territory, and I'm bound to start verbal fights.

Timbersong: It's a tie between ThunderClan and ShadowClan. I like ThunderClan because it's my home clan and everything, and because it's the main clan in the warrior cats story, but I like ShadowClan because... I dunno :P I just do. XXD

Shatterpaw: I personally love SkyClan because of their determination. Even when the odds were stacked against them they still managed to prevail. We could all learn a thing or two from the SkyClan cats. Plus they have a really cool name ;)

Duskstar: I've always loved SkyClan, because there is so little information on how they lived, how they trained their cats, and what their territory was like. It leaves so much room for imagination, and I've always desperately wanted to know.

Freeflare: My favorite clan is WindClan because I like the wind & they seem like a pretty peaceful clan when they are not fighting.

The next IMO: What are your thoughts on the new Erin Hunter series, Seekers? Do you like the bears lives more than the cats? Or are you just not feeling these ones? User Interview!

TFCG: Hello, Shatterpaw, and thanks for taking time to give me a great interview! I'm going to ask you a few questions about the site. First, how long have you been here, and what's your favorite thing to do?

Shatterpaw: No problem; it's my honor. Well, I joined Feb. 2, 2008 as Shatterpaw. My favorite thing to do would probably be reading the really old posts and the ones where Wolf and all of the original people are reflecting on the good times they had in the beginning.

TFCG: That's nice. I wish I could find time myself to look back again! Now, do you think it was a good call to drop the Tribe board?

Shatterpaw: I was one of the tribe cats before it closed, and I think it was a good idea. Most of the clans had become inactive because most of the active members had switched to the tribe. So all in all I think it was a good call to close down the Tribe.

TFCG: That's exactly what we had been thinking! Do you think we should get rid of the Outside Cats" board, too?

Shatterpaw: I think we should keep the board because it is alive and doing well. Now if it was inactive and taking up space, I would say we should close it, but as for now I think we should leave it be.

TFCG: That's an honorable argument. :3 Do you think the site is too cluttery? Which boards would you combine/delete if you could?

Shatterpaw: Personally, I think we could do without the Adoptables board. We were perfectly fine before them, and now I think they are just a waste of time. Plus, they take too much time because you have to look at them all the time.

TFCG: Thanks sooo much for answering my questions! Hope I didn't bore you too much. xD

Shatterpaw: 'Course you didn't! I always try to help out the TFCG when I can, and have always wanted to be interviewed for it. Thanks so much Lilyspirit, and I hope you have good luck on your interviews in the future.

Dear Cinderpelt,
   So lately at school the teachers have been loading us down with projects, homework and Final Exams. It's the last week of school and I think I'm going to go crazy with all of the work. Do you know a way to get rid of some of the stress before I explode?

Dear Shatterpaw,

I know what you mean about all the homework and various things that teachers will throw on to you. Even if you get this message after you have gone through all of this and you can rest just remember next time this happens. Worrying and stressing will get you nowhere. Take a deep breath and take a walk outside to look at the sky. Studying constantly will do nothing but weigh you down and keep you mentally exhausted. Do no more than one hour of studying for a block at a time. Dont go watch TV either, just go outside even if you dont walk anywhere. Just look at the clouds (if its a cloudy day) and let your mind clear. It will relieve your stress a bit. Also dont give yourself high standards but dont put yourself lower than you need. Be optimistic about your situation but dont let the ending results bring you down. If you dont pass what you need dont mourn for it. Just set yourself a firm jaw and become determined to never let that happen again (Not that you will fail). Dont add anymore stress to your plate by worrying. Take it easy my friend. I hope this has helped in anyway at all.

Boyfriend Troubles

Dear Boyfriend Troubles,

From the way I see it, if you really want to stay with the boy you are already with talk to him. Whenever you get the chance talk to him. If he brushes you off then perhaps he isnt the one you want to be dating. Dating implies you want to spend time together. If he is always with his friends it might be a good idea to ask him if he still wants to stay together. He will probably say yes, thats when you will need to talk to him about how you feel about all this. That his constant hanging out with his friends is affecting your relationship. I'm not saying to tell him to spend every moment he has together with you. People do need their space but you seem to be very troubled by his absence. As for your friend, dont let him have the inclination that you feel more than you do unless you have no feelings for your boyfriend. If you do break up with your boyfriend, take some time to think about things and dont just jump over to this other friend and start dating. Take some time for yourself and let your emotions calm a bit. I hope this has helped in any way.

Once a Tribe cat,

was before,

but a simple cat stole her heart.

He was brave,

he was strong,

He would risk his life to save his clan.

They though he was the 'promised cat'

And kept him prisoner,

Brook felt sorry,

and gave kind affection to him.

They hunted together,

and ate,

and soon enough mated.

But Stormfur was a Clan cat,
And Brook was in a Tribe.

They loved each other so much,

they left their familes,
friends,
loved ones,

for each other.

At last they found the 'promised cat',

who was not Stormfur,
but his sister.

She died, and all Stormfur had left,

was Brook.

Not Worth It

Part 1
I sat in the corner, trying to drown out the crazy hip-hop music blasting from the stereo. I forced a grin onto my face as a group of my friends dashed past me toward the food table.
"Why am I here?" I muttered to myself. "This party is so-"
I cut myself off as three of my friends -- Jordan, Alex, and David -- strode up to me.
"Jordan's gonna show us his new car," David informed me with a grin. He had to shout to be heard over the pounding music. "You wanna come?"
I shrugged. "I don't think so..."
Something small flew towards me, flashing in the air. Instinctively, I held up a hand to block it. I caught the object and uncurled my fingers, wincing slightly; it had lightly stabbed my palm.
The keys to Jordan's sports car glinted up at me. I snapped my head up to stare at him. He nodded at me, grinning.
I stood up, closing my hand around the keys. "Let's go."

I jerked the wheel to the right, speeding around the corner onto Novella Lane. The headlights of the car illuminated a small figure on the sidewalk.
"Hey, that kid doesn't have any arms!" Alex exclaimed as we sped past the figure.
"Turn the car around, Flute Boy," Jordan instructed.

I rolled my eyes at the nickname. My name, Len, is a Native American name that means "flute." The moment I had told Jordan the translation, "Flute Boy" was born.

I made a U-turn and parked across the street from the kid. It looked like he was playing hopscotch.

"What are we doing here, guys?" I sighed, glancing out the window at the kid. It didn't look like he knew we were there.

"We're asking him what it's like without arms," Jordan replied, as if it were obvious. 

"Let's get on with it, then!" David said impatiently.

"I dunno, guys...maybe we shouldn't," I said hesitantly.

Jordan chuckled. "C'mon, Flute Boy. Where's the harm?"

I had an answer, but apparently Jordan didn't want one. He hopped out of the car, followed by David and then Alex. Before climbing out, Alex sight "Len..." then shook his head in mock disapproval and crossed the street.

I stepped out of the car with a groan and followed them across the street to the boy. Jordan grabbed my shoulder and pushed me to the front of the group.

"Say something, Flute Boy!" Jordan hissed in my ear. 

"Wh-what's it like to have no arms?" I stammered, crossing my arms threateningly after an irritated nudge from Alex.

The kid stared up at me. The fear glimmering in his eyes tore my heart in half.

"Um...I dunno," the kid squeaked.

"Hey, Pipsqueak, what's your name?" David demanded, his tall frame looming over the boy.

"M-mommy said not to talk to strangers," he replied as bravely as he could.

Jordan, David, and Alex snickered in unison. The boy looked over at me. I was the only one not laughing.

Jordan took a step closer to the kid, and the small boy sprinted away. He almost tripped as he hurried up the walkway to a sand-colored house.

"Fun's over, guys, he's gone to get 'Mommy,'" Jordan smirked, using a falsetto voice on the last word. He turned away to cross the street, David and Alex chuckling annoyingly in his wake.

"You call that fun?" I muttered as I followed my so-called "friends" back across the street.

This issue: Squirrelflights Flying Fashions

Name: Squirrelflight

Job: Fashion Designer

Motivation: Definitely Brambleclaw. He always encouraged me, despite him having to put up with pins and proper fitting.

Favorite Design: I really love this one little cami that shapes the top half of the feline body quite kindly. It is constructed with a decorative whisker-like material collar and- my, I am giving away much too much! You will just have to be patient, potential buyer.

Price:Hopefully affordable. But even if not, we can all make an extra deep cut into our piggy banks just this once, right? Think about our growing kits. How else will we afford college?

Future? I plan to control my new summer clothing line with cat fur coats and ginger moccasins.
