April already? Oh yesand you know what that means! Power of Three Book Three: Outcast will be on sale in a matter of DAYS! If you've read Power of Three Book One: The Sight, you'll already know that Graystripe makes it back to ThunderClanbut you won't know just how hard it was for him to follow his Clanmates to their new home by the lake. And today, something rather extraordinary will be launching. Not just a Sneak Peek of Power of Three Book One: The Sight (which wouldn't make much sense, seeing as the book's been out for a year!), but the WHOLE BOOK. Yup, every single word from The Sight will be available online, for a limited time, page by page, so why not find some friends who haven't read WARRIORS before and invite them to read a whole book FOR FREE! Once they've set paw in the world of the Clans, there will be no turning back. :)

In case they need extra persuasion (as if!), you could tell them that The Sight has just been announced as a finalist for the Children's Book Council Children's Choice Book Award for Author of the Year! Yay! (And phew, after such a looooong name for one award!) The great thing about this award is that YOU get to choose the winner, just by voting online. Hopefully you won't be spending all your time holed up with the latest WARRIORS books at the end of April and in early May. Vicky would get awfully lonely if no one turned up to see her while she's on tour! All the details of times and venues are on the WARRIORS site, so please check them out to see if she's visiting anywhere near you. Now's your chance to ask all the questions you've been storing up over the last nineteen (gulp!) books. But remember: Vicky won't give anything away about what happens next. Not even for copious amounts of chocolate....

If you can't make it to one of the events, you'll be able to keep track of Vicky on her online diary, and find out who wins special purrs for repeat visits, extraordinary artwork, covering vast distances, or coming up with the Question of the Day. As always, your ideas for warrior names will be very gratefully received. You should start to see some of them popping up in the books from now on. Top tip for coming up with the best warrior name? Make sure that you use things that occur naturally in the cats' world, like leaves and stones. Jewels generally can't be used (except amber, which is also a color) because cats wouldn't have any experience of sapphires or rubies.
