Warrior Cats: The Four Clans

CHAPTER 1:

It was dark,I lay quietly in my bed.My twolegs were already asleep.I got up and looked out the window,something about all the trees behind the gate were strange to me. I went out to the gate.
"Hello,Smudge." A voice mewed.My eyes opened wide.That voice was so familiar.
"Rusty?" I replied. "Yes." He purred. "Would you like to join me and my Clan?" Rusty asked.
"And leave every thing here?"
"Join us." Rusty's voice grew faint.
"Smudge!" said a voice. It was just my twoleg.I looked back,no sign of Rusty.
Was it just a dream? I thought.
I followed my twoleg back into the nest,and curled up into a tight ball on my bed,thinking of Rusty's prposition.

"Smudge,breakfast!" My twoleg said.
I stretched my paws,yawning.I padded up to my bowl of food,still thinking of what rusty said in my dream.Not hungry,I went outside and jumped on the gate.
"Hey Smudge,what you doin'?" A soft voice mewed.I turned my head to see Scarlet,a curious look in her green eyes.
"Um,hey,Scarlet." I replied shyly.
"You aren't going into the forest are you?" She continued,jumping next to me.I looked down,trying to think about how to explain my dream.I sighed.
"Well,I had a dream about Rusty wanting me to join his clan,you know your,twoleg's old cat?"I meowed.
"Oh,why yes,but are you going to?" She asked. I didn't reply right away.
"Y-yes" I purred.
"What?!But what about me and your other friends?! And your two legs?!" She gasped,backing away slightly.
"I'm sorry,but Rusty and I have been friends since we were kits,and I said i'd always be there for him. And i'm not going to break that promise." I jumped past the gate and looked around,then I glanced back up at Scarlet.
"You want to come with me? It's beautiful."
"No," She snapped. "Unlike you,I don't want to dissappoint the ones I love!" She hissed. I sighed. When she left I saw something move in the bushes.I smelled not a cat,but another animal.I sniffed once more. Maybe a mouse?,I thought,though it didn't smell like a mouse.I suddenly heard something growl.A dog emerged from the bracken.
"No...NO!DOG!" I yelled. 
The dog chased after me,it's tongue lolling out of it's mouth.I ran as fast as I could,but I didn't think I could make it.I scratched him in the face,but a dog like him would never give up.I climbed up a tree,but he still hasn't given up.Finally,the moon came up and the tired dog fell asleep.I went down the tree carefully,luckely I didn't wake up the dog. But suddenly I smelled a new scent.A mouse? Just before the log in front of me was a little mouse.I crouched down.About to jump.But something went wrong.Something jumped on me.
