Shadowpaw's Second What If? Question: What if Shadowpaw's cat were a warrior? Point of view: Rikka's (Shadowpaw's cat) --------------------------------------------------- 'Being with my housefolk is fun and all, but I want more action...' Rikka thought. She walked outside for her daily stroll. There was a nearby Thunderpath, and also some trees on the other side of it. Rikka walked across the ThunderPath, and a strange hiss came from a nearby bush. A cat came out and confronted her. "What are you doing on RiverClan territory?" it asked. "Oh, I was on my daily stroll. I didn't mean to tresspass." "Well, it's too late. Come with me." The strange cat walked back into the bushes. I had no choice but to follow. After some time walking through shaded marshes, we came to a strange place where many cats were. The cat took me to what I thought was their leader, a strange spotted cat. "Leopardstar, I found this cat tresspassing on the Thunderpath side of our territory." The spotted cat looked up and sniffed the air. "I see... a kittypet. Got the smell of that strange food and the scent of Twolegs." "Twolegs?" I asked. "Err... Who you live with." "Housefolk?" "Yeah, them..." "May I go back to my housefolk now?" I asked, anxious to get home. "Actually, you're a pretty strong kittypet. If only you weren't this fat. Will you stay with us and train?" Leopardstar asked. "May I go back to my housefolk on occasion?" I asked. "No. Living with us, you'd have to forget about them." "Umm... Okay, I guess." "What's your name?" the cat who brought me here asked. I looked around the strange territory. "Rikka... The Twolegs said that it meant 'snow' in some strange language..." "Then your name can be Snowstorm when we fully train you. Until then, your name will be Snowpaw, but we have to go through the ceremony first..." Leopardstar said. "Ceremony?" "You'll see." said the first cat. "And by the way, my name is Mudfur." Later that day, at about sunhigh, all of the cats gathered in one place in the middle of the 'camp'. One cat faced me, snarling. "C'mon, kittypet, attack me." I looked around. The other cats seemed intense, hoping for a good fight. I jumped foreward, claws seathed. The other cat stepped to the side and tripped me. I caught my balance and scratched at it's face. It looked at me growling, with it's cheek bleeding. It jumped on my back and pinned me to the ground. I managed to get out from under it, and it just bit my tail. My tail!!! Now I was angry. I turned and faced the cat, hissing and spitting. I raked a claw over it's shoulder, and it raked a claw over my ear. "Enough. The kittypet has proven that it's strong enough to stay." Leopardstar announced. "From now on, Rikka will be known as Snowpaw."

Bubbleshine's Second What if? What if Leafpool had continued to see Crowfeather? Point of veiw: Squirrelflight _______________________________________________________
"Calm down! It's not the first time I've left you to hunt a bit..." Squirrelflight hissed Brambleclaw. "Just because I found out yesterday I'm having kits, dosn't mean I'm disabled!" She ran to her sister's den before more questions were asked. She knew it would be empty. Her sister hadn't been around. She was never there. "Leafpool?" She called into the empty den. No answer. She felt a cat's presence behind her. "Hello, Is Leafpool here? I had a question for her." Firestar smiled at his daughter. "Umm..." Squirrelflight searched her mind for yet another excuse, "She... Went to stock up on more catmint." "Does someone have Whitecough?" Firestar asked, alarmed. "No... Just in case." She turned and left the camp. Squirrelflight hated lying to her father, but she had to cover for her sister. "Where is she?" She mewed, catching sight of a mouse. She crept up behind it and killed it. It felt so good to be hunting. How coud she stop being a Warrior to have kits? She heard a noise. Squirrelflight scraped dirt on her mouse to retreave it later. The noise suddenly grew to words. "Do you think he'll aprove?" A familiar tom's voise came. "Firestar? No, i won't tell him about..." Her sister! Squirrelflight silently crept to nearby brambles. "You're right... But you should go. We've been here awhile." Squirrelflight waited, watching her sister nuzling Crowfeather goodbye. He turned and ran. Leafpool was alone. "What was that about?" Squirrelflight asked her sister. "What?" Leafpool turned with alarm to her sister, "Oh, I knew I'd have to tell you..." "Tell me what?" Squirrelflight hissed with impatence. "I'm having kits." Leafpool's eyed glazed over. "I... It's..." I stammered. Kits? She was a Medicine cat! Oh, but she ahd to help. Squirrelflight couldn't live with herself if she didn't help her sister. "Hide it. When the kits come, I'll nurse them and say they're mine too."
The day came when Leafpool had her kits. There were two. One black, and one white. Hollykit, and Jaykit. They were born next to the stream. Nobody had found out about the kits. Me and Leafpool took turns each day to watch the kits. After two days, I was lucky enough to have my kits. There were two. One looked like Brambleclaw, and the other looked like Firestar. I named them Lionkit, and Deepkit. Three kits nuzzled up to me. I looked over at Deepkit. He wasn't moving. I knew he was dead. I cried as I buried him at the spot. I carried Lionkit back to camp and nuged my sister's kits forward. "My kits!" Brambleclaw smiled and ran to me. I blinked away my tears. "Our kits." I lied. _____________________________________________________________ Hey, we could all tell it was comming sooner or later!!! XD
This is based off of the random rumors.

Firepaw walked to the clearing to where Spottedleaf's den lay. He greeted her with a flick of his tail. "Need anything?" she asked. "No, I just wanted to spend time with you, if that's alright," Firepaw replied. "Sure, you can come here whenever you'd like," Spottedleaf replied. "Do you need any herbs?" firepaw asked. "No, but I plan on collecting some more poppyseed tomorrow," Spottedleaf said. "Can I help?" Firepaw blurted out. Spottedleaf purred in amusement. "If you have no patrols or training, and nothing to do. You know, Firepaw, I'm medicine cat; I always will be. That's more important to me than anything, even having a mate." "I-I know," Firepaw stammered, though his face fell. Spottedleaf's pelt brushed against his. "Besides, I recieved a message. I believe now that it's about you, it was, 'there will be an apprentice, wishing to love you. His enemy will fall in love with him in the moons to come.'" Spottedleaf said. Firepaw followed her gaze to Sandpaw. Could Sandpaw, who hated him so much, ever really fall in love with him?
