Warrior Cats: The Four Clans

Hehehe!! Dont worry Shadow =D I am accutally wrinting three fanfics. Two of them are here and on my site the last is a fanfic of an RP on my site so i am keeping it there. The thing i am working on at the moment is the chapter for that fanfic on my site. Then i will be doing the next chapter of Ebonypaw's quest =D The next chapter's will be up soon!

Chapter 20 

            The young brown she wolfs mouth hung open. "You have to be kidding right?" She glanced away in confusion and embarrassment. The more and more she thought about it the more possible that answer seemed. She heard a soft sigh come from the large black wolf beside her.

            "Believe what you will. I have given you my opinion and there is nothing I can do to change yours." His voice suddenly became distant and uncaring. Ilari frowned at him. With one, more soft sigh the he wolf stood and loped down the hill on which they sat. Ilari turned her brown eyes to the ground beneath her paws. Could it be possible that she loved the handsome white wolf?

            She shook her head softly and tried to dismiss it as a joke. Nothing was making any sense anymore. Her feelings and emotions had never been in such a wreck. Something just didnt seem right at all. There was only one way to settle these hectic emotions. She stood from where she sat and made her way toward her den. She knew he would be there.

            Her brown eyes glanced to the sky. A beautiful shade of red and orange danced across the sky. The bright blue of the daylight fought back the new colors in the sky as if it were trying to keep its place in the sky. She tossed a look over her shoulder to see the darkness of the night now coming in to the sky. The dark colors consumed the brilliant light of the dying sun. The colors couldnt seem to find the right way to express all their beauty in the sky together. It seemed to hit so close to home.

            Her emotions called out to the sky as if it knew the problems the colors were having. She sighed softly and let her eyes drop to the ground. Nothing was simple any more. Not like it had been when she was just a pup in her familys den.

            As she finally reached the den that she and Aden called home she stopped. Taking a deep breath she put a paw in to the dark den.

            "Ilari!" She heard a voice call. Growling inwardly she turned her eyes toward the voice. It was Hunter. Why now? She asked herself. He has the worst timing. She frowned a bit and lifted a brow to him in question. Hunters face was pulled in to a scowl. His pelt seemed dull in comparison to the handsome white wolf in the cave she wanted to enter. "Where is Aden?" he growled as he said the name. "Its time for the hunt."

            Ilari frowned deeply. She had completely forgotten about the hunt. "Yeah," she started, "He is right in here." She turned her eyes to her den. Hunter turned his dark yellow eyes to the den and sneered. As his strides took him in to the den, Ilari growled ever so slightly. Now she would never have the courage to face him.

            A few mumblings came from the inside of the den and Hunters head popped back out. His face held an even deeper frown now. He stalked away without even turning his eyes to her. Ilari almost laughed as he disappeared down the hill.

            "What seems to be so funny?" A smooth voice sounded next to her ear. Ilari jumped a little and whipped her head around and felt pain explode in the side of her face. She yipped in shock and pulled away. Her eyes fell upon the sort of startled face of Aden, his blue eyes wide as he lifted a paw to rub his cheek tenderly. "What on earth made you do that?" He frowned. Ilari didnt want to see his frown though. Her eyes craved to see his soft smile. She craved to see his slim shoulders shake with his silent laughter. At that moment she knew. She had fallen head over heels for him.
