Ebonycloud hadnt been listening to a word any of them had said. His head hung low to the ground. He was over joyed that Stripes had visited, but she was a kittypet now. The day where they could just lay in the medicine cat den and talk for hours was gone. They were grown up now. She had made her desicion, and now he had made his. HE stood and stumbled out of camp. He paws felt heavy on his legs. All other sound was drown out. He had no idea what they were talking about. HE legs instictibly carried him to the clearing in the middle of the moor. It had been their favorite spot to play and relax.

Falcondance's ears perked, "An invasion?" he asked. What was the meaning of this? Rogues were gathering against them? That explained the smell.

"Yes,I overheard our leader talking about it.They plan to take over all the clans.I came to warn you." Night replied,heading towards the camp entrance.She ran outside of camp,then came back in,followed by four cats.
"And I brought help." She mewed,flicking her tail in the strangers' direction.

Stripes decided to stop at her once favorite spot on the moor, for old times sake. when she saw Ebonycloud there, she was surprised.
"I meant to stop by, only to see this place once more. And to say a last goodbye," stripes explained

Ebonycloud's eyes regained some of their old fire. He smiled warmly at her, "I am glad you came, at least just once more." Slowly on unsure paws he came closer to Stripes, "Would you.... mind if i called you Tabbystripe? At least for a little while?" He smiled again as his heart pounded in his chest.

Falcondance's mouth dropped open, "You brought help?" He stared at the strangers.

"Yes,these are some friends of mine." She replied.

"I'm Star." A white-spotted she-cat mewed. "And this is my brother,Stone." She looked at a white tom with grey spots.

"And I am Flame." A ginger tom said,lowering his head in respect.

Silkpaw was in awe of the strange, sleek looking cats that Night had brought to protect the clan. The small apprentice was awfully curious.

" Do you know anymore about those.. uh what was it... Rogue cats?"

She raised her chin and puffed her fur to look larger.

"And is there anything I could do to help?"

"Yeah, I don't mind," Stripes said. "I may be a kittypet now, but I'll never forget where I came from. And I'll never forget what I learned, or what you taught me. My Twolegs have an herb garden, and it reminds me so much of being a medicine cat."

Ebonycloud smiled softly at her, "Thank you. No matter how i look at it i cant think of you anyless. You have choosen a life style that is good for you. You will always be my friend Tabbystripe. No matter the distance between us." He stepped forward until they were only a mouse length away from each other
