Team Creation


It is seven years after the Sinnoh games. Team Rocket has finally grown in power, obliterating teams Aqua, Magma and Galactic, and taking control over the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh regions, assigning individual Rocket Admins to watch over the latter three. As they spread their evil throughout these regions, they drove Gym leaders, Elite Four members and legendary Pokemon alike into hiding, with a select few taken into the Teams custody. Whole towns were reduced to crime infested pits, and any who resisted them were made to disappear, including Trainers such as Ash Ketchum and Gary Oak

It was several months after Team Rockets takeover that a new Team was formed. A resistance, founded by three powerful Pokemon Trainers (Goldhawk, Bluefalcon and Blackskull), called Team Creation, located on the now-abandoned Four Island, one of the three surviving Sevii Islands. The resistance grew, recruiting elite Pokemon Trainers, until one day, they were able to begin battle against the tyrants.

Several of these Trainers have been chosen to be sent on missions to find and retrieve the various members of the Pokemon Leagues and the legendary Pokemon of each region. These missions will be very dangerous, with Rockets around every corner, ready to kill any who they deem to be resisting their cause. Full attention will need to be given to the objective in order to survive.

There are three (3) sub-Teams with Team Creation. Teams will consist of three Agents each, and the agents MUST agree upon a Team Name for their group.

Main Objectives:
[1] Acquire assistance from any willing outside Trainer and Pokemon. Be wary of Rocket spies.
[2] Locate and protect any and all gym leaders, Elite Four members and legendary Pokemon. Their assistance is vital to our victory.
[3] Infiltrate the main Rocket bases of Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh and capture the Rocket Admins and Executives watching over those regions. Use excessive force only if necessary.
[4] Discover the identity of the Kanto Admin and the location of the main Rocket base.
[5] Destroy the Kanto Rocket base and restore order.

Side Objectives:
[1] Train your Pokemon! Without their help, well be sitting Psyducks.
[2] Make consistent reports to the main base while on missions.
[3] While not on missions, make sure patrols are sent around the island. We dont want to be taken by surprise if the Rockets attack.
[4] Build your Pokemon team. As has always been, you are allowed six Pokemon with you at any time. Additionally, you may have two Pokemon in the Team Creation storage facility.

Character profile:

Fill this form out and PM it to me, should you wish to join.

Name: This should be obvious.
Age: Older than ten.
Hometown: Where is your character from?
Description: What does your character look like? Provide a sprite if you can.
Personality: Dont just say Fun, smart, brave. How fun is he? Is he brave enough to attempt to sneak into a Rocket base by himself? Describe!
Background: What is your characters history?
Pokemon: You can put your choices here, but remember that unless your character had the Pokemon before joining the Team, then you need to make an IC post where s/he chooses them from the TC Pokemon storage.


NOTE ABOUT RELATIVES: In the case of relatives, keep your information correct! If you are the son of Ash and May, there is no WAY Lance or Bruno is going to be your uncle. And PLEASE, dont make your character related to every single Gym leader/Elite Four member; that is just plain annoying to other people. Also, being related to a GL/Elite Four member is NOT required. this is a problem that we have on the other forum that i run this RP on; people think that they must be related to a Pokémon character, when in actuality, they do not.


Rules:

[1] There may ONLY be NINE (9) people in the RP AT ANY TIME. Meaning, once there are nine people, the RP is full. If you are inactive for a week, your character will either be killed or disappear.

[2] Do NOT spam or flame. At all. I don't care if you have a problem with someone.

[3] You MUST post at LEAST five (5) lines. No exceptions.

[4] PLEASE ALWAYS try to post with GOOD GRAMMAR AND PUNCTUATION.

[5] Be realistic. Dont climb up Lavender Tower in one post and then climb back down it the next. Im sure most people will agree with me when I say that RPs are more fun when they last longer. Furthermore, I don't want major enemies being taken out right at the beginning. Posts like this will be ignored.

[6] You may NOT win every single battle (a.k.a., god-modding). No, I do not mean you can win ten battles in a row and then lose one, I mean that you have to even out your wins and losses (against other players and non-Rocket NPCs, at least).

[7] Keep your evolutions realistic. I will elaborate in a few lines.

[8] Remember to use OOC (out of character) and IC (in character). Its almost impossible to tell whether or not youre making an IC post when you dont have those two tags.
EX usage:

IC: The Rocket grunt hit Bob in the back of the head, knocking him out.

OOC: Ooh, suspense.

[9] Script format is NOT allowed. Posts in this ridiculously bland format will be ignored.
EX:

Person1: Hi.
Person2: Hi.

Besides the fact that posts like this can not show character emotions and are extremely irksome to read, to me, it just seems like an easy way of getting past rule 3.

[10] Absolutely no shiny Pokemon. You may glimpse them in the wild, but no one may own them.

[11] Enjoy your time in this RP!

I apologize for the amount of rules, but due to past experiences, I felt that I needed to cover some extra areas.

NOTE: A GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF POKéMON, INCLUDING OFFICIAL CHARACTERS AND LOCATIONS, IS RECOMMENDED.


Evolutions:

I will now explain rule 7. I do not want people evolving their Pokemon right off of the bat. I mean, where is the fun in that?

For the first evolution, your Pokemon may only evolve after they have fought in 6 battles. After 7 more battles, they may evolve again, and that is ONLY if all of your Pokemon have evolved at least once and your team is full.

Now, this leads me to something else. I do NOT want you putting battles in every other post of yours. Make them spread out, and dont make battles happen at the beginning of the game. Also, random Trainers that you beat in one hit do not count towards the battles that you need to fight to evolve your Pokemon.

NOTE: Due to Nincadas 2-in-1 evolution, if you start with it, it will take 12 battles for it to evolve.

NOTE: You also need permission from me to evolve your Pokemon.

In the case of Pokemon that require items, they will need to have fought in 4 battles before they can evolve, and must be traded to another person while holding that item, as in the games.


Non-starter Pokemon:

These are Pokemon that you are not allowed to start with, but can catch later on.
Marill, Jigglypuff, Clefairy and Pikachu You may start with their preevolutions.
Dratini, Larvitar, Beldum, Bagon and Gible
Eevee Too easy to evolve
Fossil Pokemon Can be obtained via fossil later on
Any Pokemon that does not/can not evolve.

IMPORTANT: You must get permission from me to catch Pokemon.

These Pokemon are unobtainable period.

Personality: Extremely smart, having scored a 398 average on every IQ test that the Team Creation Agents are put through during training. He usually comes oof as a rather rude and cold person, though he has a heart heart behind the outer veil. He gets annoyed rather easily.
Background: A Trainer from Fuschia City and the only son of Richie Hiroshi. Joined the rebellion in hopes of finding his parents, who had vanished a week before. He has a strong suspicion that Team Rocket is behind his parents disappearence, but has thus far not been able to prove it.

Background: Has always lived with his mother,father,and little brother.His family owns a pokemon shelter,which is how he gained his love for pokemon.When the shelter suddenly went out of business,he set out on a quest to find a job.During his travels,he captured his very first pokemon,Timber(a Glameow).

Personality: Amiee is a smart girl. She can work well under pressure, and is very beautiful. She's friendly. She'll be nice to anyone and everyone she sees. When she meets someone new, she extends her hand with a smile. She's not very cautious of new people, and gives everyone benifet of doubt. She trusts others easily, but is secretive about her past.
Background: Amiee lived with her mom in a small town untill she turned 13. Her mom had loved pokemon, and welcomed many into their home. She got her first pokemon at age 8 from her mother. At age 13, her mother disapeared, and she set out to train her only pokemon, Buneary, and look for her. She never met her father, and her mother told her nothing, exept that he was a great trainer, and having her stopped her training career. Although her mother wished she could have still been a trainer, she loved Amiee.
