Well gee excuse me for forgetting to put some. I realize not all guys are like that. Because I have met a few that aren't. Anyway
The only reason shes doing that is pure jealousy. She's insecure, which most girls are. She thinks that if she hangs around you enough you will grow to like her.
And girls like to think about different romantic things like that because it gives them hope that someday it will happen to them. We want to be the Cinderella that goes to the ball. We want to be princess that is sleeping and waits for true loves kiss. SOME guys aren't like that. SOME guys feel like having a girlfriend is having a girlfriend. When SOME girls look at it as finding the one for them. They just want someone to call them beautiful and to hold her when she needs holding. It also gets annoying when SOME guys don't understand what we're feeling. We cant help it.
Wolf: 1. Those kinds of girls get flippin jealous. I honestly avoid being like that. 2. Most girls like romance. Like Goldheart said, us girls sometimes want to feel like the princess. Y'know? It gives us something nice to look foreward to, later on in our normally not-so-easy lives.
To you two boys: Why do (some) guys think it's uncool to show their true feelings? Is it that they don't like to be seen as being 'soft'?

@Goldheart: Sorry if I sounded rude; I was just emphasizing a point. XP
@Shadowstorm: Hmm... My guess would be that they want to look cool and tough around their friends, so choose not to say anything about how they really feel. Chances are they either: 1. Are pressured into doing so by their group of friends. 2. Do so by choice. 3. Are just plain stupid (the most common, btw.)
@Goldy: I don't know. I'm not confusing to guys, but then again, I'm teh girl whose best friend is a guy. Heck, most of the people I know in RL are guys!
I have a question for guys, too. You know hwo when people are better than you, you say, "You suck."? Why do you? I mean, it's not exactally the kindest thing to say.

okay, then. unfortunately loving an idiot who doesn't love me back. but i'm not falling. i just kind of... am. .
Goldy: I am not exactly that good around guys, they make me blush for some reason. I can probably say that I confuse them a lot. Reason, I just get nervous.
@ Lavenderpaw: I haven't met a boy that laughs at everything, but I have met millions of girls who do that. xD INCLUDING ME. For example: my friend knew that my crush liked me, so she asked him why he wouldn't ask me out, and he said "She giggles like MAD!" which made me giggle more when she told me.
The truth is, most girls react to their crushes differently. Some girls blush, some don't talk, some talk ALOT, and I giggle. Any kind of contact with my crush = HEEEHEEEHEEEHEEEHEEE. This drives them away. Leaving my boyfriendless. ;____;
Lavenderpaw: No idea what you're talking about -- for me, it's the girls that I know who do that, so no answer that I know of. =/ Bubbleshine's friend might have an answer for you...
Kestrelpaw: Define "better than you." If someone says that they're better than me, then they are obviously too insecure about themselves that they have to act all high and mighty to feel good about themselves -- doing so by saying "I'm better than you." The "You suck." response is just a preset in our heads for when people say that (Or maybe we just like that response...I don't know.) Of course, I never say, "I'm better than you." or "You suck.", so...
I have a good question for everyone... Why do some girls and guys believe in popularity? Why do they let it bother them? And if you're "unpopular", then why do you still believe in it and let it bother you?
