Kind, gentle people died seven years ago in a terrible attack from terrorists. We give the families that lost our love, and joy, and take a piece of their pain in hopes to make everything better. Be empathetic, and help our communitity--no, our country, be safer and more helpful.

okay, then. unfortunately loving an idiot who doesn't love me back. but i'm not falling. i just kind of... am. .
I'm really bad at remembering this kind of stuff, so everybody's gonna kill me for asking, but this was related to teh Twin Tower's getting destroyed, right? Yeah, I thought so, just checking.
When my family and I went to NYC, we got to see the area where the Twin Towers were. It was really depressing, and even after seven years, nothing is fixed, and it still looks all messed up and destroyed...
Yeah I saw the news that night and heared the about the twin towers and today I heared how many lives were lost and how many kids were orphaned...... it made me cry when I saw this video of a girl who was talking about losing her father.
Yea, I saw that video too, I cried, this day always makes me cry. Me and my life skills teacher take this day as a very sad day, we both cried in class. :'[
Ah, yes, I saw it live. I was only five, I think. I was bawling my eyes out, knowing that millions of people had died, and that one of the U.S's most important trade centers (I hope that's right...) was destroyed. I still don't get how this all started, it just seems so wrong. :(

Yeah, we all have those moments. And I advise you not to put them to waste.

Yes, it was. It was also related to the destruction of around 10% of the Pentagon.
I heard about that area from my Social Studies teacher last year. Apparently, it's called Ground Zero now, and they're are eventually just going to start building inside of it. =/
@Night: It started due to a political debate between the U.S. and... I think it was Osama bin Ladin, since he was pulling the strings for the whole thing. Anyway, it had something to do with him not liking how we run our country and such.
I'm surprised so few people have posted here -- did this not effect anyone at all? It certainly effected me -- otherwise I wouldn't be so cautious. =/
I just finished watching this documentary about the attack on the Pentagon on the Discovery Channel, I nearly cried. :(
Simply sad how so many people die for all the wrong reasons.
United we stand, Divided we fall.

It's horrible.. And whats worse is since people worked so hard to fix it up so others wouldn't get sick from the destruction, peole worked for months to work on it, and now years later theyre getting cancer, and some will get sick in the years to come. they said they wouldnt, but science has proved it, and deaths have, too. On 9/11/08 my language arts teacher, who's usually really outgoing, sarcastic, seemed really sad. She said she doesn't like talking about 9/11 much, she remembers exactly when it happened(she was living in New York at the time, its where she lived her whole life before coming over to my state), where she was, how she felt, what she was thinking... Her friend was terribly sick that day, she worked on the top floor of one of the towers, but her boss was on a business trip in florida, so she decided to come into work. She came in at a little past 8:30. He attacks started at 9. She never came out, never was found, and her friend's dad worked there, too, didnt come out. It's horrible, our teacher didnt want to talk about it, but taught us about tolerance and intolerance. not on 9/11, just on things in general. Then the next day, friday, she continued the lesson, we watched a video with hangings (during the civil rights movements), headless people hanging, horrible lynches, murderings.... we're going to finish watching it on monday, but I think the lesson's valuable, we ALL have intolerance in us, so it's a really important, useful lesson.
