"We can hop the fence and go into my backyard. Or maybe climb through a window. What ever we do.... it is safe." She knew there actually wasnt anything to worry about. It worst came t worst and someone saw them all the would have to do is jump over the fence and it is unopenable from the outside. So they would be safe... right?
Chase shook his head, he barked "What ever you think'll work." Chase jumped and looked up at the sky, his green eyes shined, he smiled and looked at Lily, he smiled and barked "Alright, lets go." Chase walked up to the fence, he looked up at it and lowered his ears, he muttered "How are we getting over that..?" Chase backed up a bit and then charged at it, he leaped forward, Chase howled when he hit the fence, he had nailed the fence and fell backwards, he got back up and growled "Dang it! This might take a minute.."
"Ow..." Lily muttered to herself, slightly smiling. "What if we CLIMB it? It can't be that difficult." She really wanted to test her abilities... to see what her new form gave her. Very simply, she put one paw in a small crevice. And started climbing, one paw after another. She easily got ever the fence and jumped down to the grass in her back yard. "Coming??" She called back over the fence.
"One moment please." Chase barked as he gathered himself up, he shook his head and did the same thing Lily did, he placed one paw up at a time, he was at the top of the fence, ready to jump, he sat up there and barked "Hey Lily! Look at me! I'm like one of those stupid cat things!" Chase laughed, but he did'nt for long, he nearly fell down, so he jumped down, he landed on unsteady feet, he got up and looked at Lily, he smiled stupidly and barked "Ok, so I'm not graceful like a cat." He laughed wagging his tail, his smile was sweet and shy at the same time.
"Ya, whatever Grant," Buddie laughed. She knew Grant, as clumsy as ever. She flopped down onto the grass. "I'm kinda glad we missed class," Buddie finally said. There was an eerie silence between them. "But, you know, Mrs. Garret, she, well, I dunno what made me punch her. I guess maddness," Buddie sighed. The day has been filled with saddness, excitement, and neverousness for her.
Grant went over to her & sat down. He looked at Buddie "I'm kind of glad you did." he looked down at his paws. "I mean I guess she deserved it." he layed down & waited to hear what she would say. He didn't want to upset her by saying the wrong thing, for some reason he had a habit of managing to do so.
"Ya, you got a point," Buddie said. She knew Grant was trying to comfort her. "Well, let's..... um.... we need more members of our 'Pack' of wolves," Buddie smiled. "Do you know other people who turn into wolves?
'More wolves?' Grant thought for a moment. He tried to remeber if he knew any one who could do that. Grant didn't many friends besides Buddie so there wasn't too much to think about. "I don't know anybody who can turn into a wolf beside you." he said to Buddie. He layed down next to her still trying to think of some one.
"Well...... I'm pretty sure there is more wolves/humans," Buddie said. "I mean, if I can turn into a wolf, and suddenly, you can too, it's something," She padded around in circles, confused. "I mean...." Buddie became silenced. Something bothered her. She remembered something, a long time ago. "Hey Grant, do you know, her name was..... never mind." Buddie stammered.
Grant made a confused face & looked at Buddie as she paced in a circle. He tried to figure out what she was talking about but didn't get anywhere on his own. He was usually alittle slow some times, which was usually one of the things he was teased for. "Who?" Grant asked still watching her intently trying not to get dizzy.
