Shy watched quietly as the others talked. She didn't quite feel like eating but she put a little on her plat anyway. She listened quietly as she took a sip of her wine. She took small bites of her food and loved how wonderful it tasted. She had not ever tasted food so good in her life. She took a few more bites and a few more sips of her wine. She didn't say a word. Not only did she not want to, she really couldn't. She just couldn't seem to utter a single word. She was still confused and she was scared.
Finally done with his huge meal, Ammo patted his stomach, grinning happily. "Welp, as they say, that hit the spot! Gosh, is this how you people eat? If so, you gals sure are lucky..." He asked, the question directed mostly to Stevie and Anneliesse, since the boy knew Shy wouldn't reply. Putting the silverware on his ceramic plate, Ammo glanced at the timid little thing, wondering about what she was thinking. Her shyness was starting to get irritating. It was like, she was planning everyone's doom...quietly.
OoC; -chuckle- Sorry, just an inside joke between me and my best friend. x3

Yeah, we all have those moments. And I advise you not to put them to waste.
Darkest looked down at his warm food. He glanced at the group of friends enjoying themselves. As he did he seemed to sink lower into his seat. Other fledglings pointed at him as they whispered things things Darkest obviously wasn't meant to hear. He sniffed the glass of wine he was given & tasted it. He took a small bite of his food & watched the group of friends.
Phantom ate his food gingerly. He frowned at his drink. He shuddered at the thought of swollowing the warm liquid. He turned from it and refused to drink it at all. He knew he would more than likely regret not drinking it but he just hated the thought of it. He clutched his stomach as nausea hit him. He grasped the cards in his pocket trying to gain confidence from them. He sighed with sickness and grasped his forhead trying to stready himself. He glanced around the room. His eyes rested on his roomate for a moment. The boy was surrounded by many other kids but Phantom was all by himself at the end of his table.
Shy looked over at the boy who was staring at her when she first got here. He was sitting by himself, not talking to anyone. He was looking a bit sick too. His eyes locked with hers, or so she thought, and she snapped her head back down at the table. She listened, there were many conversations going on, laughing, yelling, and a whole lot more. Everyone seemed so comfortable here. She grabbed her plate and threw it away. She put a hand on Annilesse's shoulder. "I'll see you later." She got up and went intot he hallway and leaned up against the closed door. She breathed in the fresh air. There was way to many people in there.
Ammo put his plate [ and the silverware] away, scanning the room, half-interested in the others' conversations. He watched as Shy walked away. The dark-haired flegling furrowed his eyebrows, irritated. He felt rather annoyed, yet still a bit intrigued, by her timidness. Rolling his left shoulder, Ammo stood up from his chair, and pushed it under the table. "I'ma go to my room for a moment, gals. See you later!" He waved them off, standing up on his toes, and trotting out of the Cafe.

Shy felt the door open from underneath her and she quickly moved out of the way. She saw, what was his name again? Oh, Ammo, come through the door. She didn't say anything. She just began walking forward as if she didn't see him. She stared at the ground as she walked slowly away from the Cafe. Once she got there, she would change immeidiatly out of this uniform. She felt uncomfortable in it. She crossed her arms tightly around her.
"Hey, hey, hey!" Ammo called after Shy, trotting slowly after her, ready to turn away in case she wouldn't want to talk. "What beeth wrong, oh timid one? You seem down, sad; not just shy, as your name suggests." He smiled sweetly, hoping to get a small answer from her. Everyone laughed at Ammo, everyone. Because he was a silly goofball, who wanted nothing more then to please others with jokes and pranks. This girl was the first not to even snicker at him.

Shy looked up. "I...uhm..." She looked into his eyes and saw nothing but compassion. "I'm just confused and uncomfortable." She said in her soft voice. She can't belive she actually said that outloud. She never ever talks to people about things in her mind. She sighed and her arms wrapped tighter around her.
"Of course, everyone probably feels that way," He lied. If everyone was feeling weird on this first day, then why wasn't he? Ammo felt confident; happy, even. But, he didn't want to let this shy girl know it, it'd probably make her even worse. "I bet it's the uniform that's bothering you, most probably," The flegling added. "Not even I like mine, and I didn't even bother to look in a mirror..." A soft chuckle errupted from the bottom of his throat.
