Book Suggestions [Come and see!]

Hope it's all right, Moony, xD

Looking for a good book to read, but don't know which one?
Well, you've come to the right place! x3
Here is where people suggest any type of reads that might interest you.

At first, I just wanted to make the thread for myself (lol, selfish? x3), but then I thought that everyone should benefit from it. ;D

Here are some books that I suggest:

Twilight, and other books by Stephanie Meyer:
Honestly, if you haven't read the books yet, THEN YOU MUST BE INSANE. D:
Naw, just kiddin'. Twilight is the romantic and dramatic tale of Bella Swan, who finds herself trapped inside a world full of vampires, werewolves, and other supernatural creatures. She meets Edward Cullen, a handsome vampire with a strange desire for her, though it's more then just because of her blood...

The Sisterhood of the Traveling pants series, by Ann Brashares:
I don't normally read these type of books, and I always had the feeling that I would regret reading this. Oh, how I was wrong.
I strongly suggest this book, for girls and boys.
It's the heart-warming story of four best friends, finding their way through the tangling roots of life. As they struggle to keep their friendship intact, some find love, others find heart-break. They gain new jobs, show others their talents, and even do some extreme sports!

A dog's life: The autobiography of a stray, by Ann M. Martin:
I haven't read the book yet, but apparently, it's good. If anyone here has read it, could you give me a description to post here? xD

The Da Vinci code, by Dan Brown:

^_^;
Ehe, yeah, I read it when I was bored, xD
But, seriously, it's amazing! Dan Brown is an 'effing genius of the sort! I was hooked from beginning to end.

The book describes the attempts of Robert Langdon, Professor of Religious Symbology at Harvard University, to solve the murder of renowned curator Jacques Saunière (see Bérenger Saunière) of the Louvre Museum in Paris. The title of the novel refers to, among other things, the fact that Saunière's body is found in the Denon Wing of the Louvre, naked and posed like Leonardo da Vinci's famous drawing, the Vitruvian Man, with a cryptic message written beside his body and a Pentacle drawn on his stomach in his own blood.

The interpretation of hidden messages in Leonardo's famous works, (which relate to the concept of the sacred feminine) including the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper, figure prominently in the solution to the mystery.

The novel has several concurrent subplots interweaving the lives of different characters; eventually all the characters are brought together and the subplots resolved in the denouement. The unraveling of the mystery requires the solution to a series of brain-teasers, including anagrams and number puzzles. The ultimate solution is found to be intimately connected with the possible location of the Holy Grail and to a mysterious society called the Priory of Sion, as well as to the Knights Templar. The story also involves the Roman Catholic organization Opus Dei.

(Lol, I stole the description from Wikipedia. xD)

Marley & me : life and love with the world's worst dog, by John Grogan.
This book is both funny and adorable. Read about John Grogan's life with his misbehaved Labrador Retriever dog, Marley.

John and Jenny were just beginning their life together. Then they brought home Marley, a wiggly yellow furball of a puppy. Life would never be the same. Marley grew into a barreling, ninety-seven-pound streamroller of a Labrador retriever. He crashed through screen doors, gouged through drywall, and stole women's undergarments. Obedience school did no good - Marley was expelled. But just as Marley joyfully refused any limits on his behavior, his love and loyalty were boundless, too. Marley remained a model of devotion, even when his family was at its wit's end. Unconditional love, they would learn, comes in many forms.

Arielle Queen series, by Michel J. Levesque
I'm not sure whether or not they have an English version of the books, since I read them in French. xD

Arielle Queen, an ordinary teenage red-headed girl with the dark freckles all over her cheeks. She finds out (by watching a video sent in to her by a stranger) that she has an alter ego, name Elleira. After explaining everything to Arielle, Elleira dies away, leaving the young girl almost helpless as she tries to defend her and her cat from dark elves, and the alter egos from other humans around her, out to destroy the prophezised child...

And, that's all I got! xD

SUGGEST SUGGEST SUGGEEEESSSSTTTT!!! D:

Wait, hold on...
Oh, whoops! xD
I typed the title wrong, it's actually The Tale of Desperaux
It's just that I've read it in French, so the title in French would translate to Desperaux's quest. xD

SUGGGGGEEEEEEEEESSSSSSST
