Aelena gasped. "I'm.. Something? Why do I have to be something? Why can't I just be me? Unless... I.. Always.. Was... Me?" She shook off her random thoughts and reached up to touch her face. It felt normal. She looked at her hands and gasped. They were a pink color, much more red than usual. She felt up her face, and gasped when she touched her ears. They were longer than normal. Much longer.
With realization, and a smile, she spoke, "I don't care what I am, I finally feet accepted! There's nothing comparable to that!" She hugged Eethan much harder than before, and smiled at the soft feel of his skin. She wanted to stay in this place forever. Forget about school! Forget about her foster home! She'd live here forever!
"Why don't you guys want to stay here forever?" She asked, confusion ebbing at her glowing green eyes.

"Uh, well..." Eethan choked as Aelena hugged him, attempting to laugh, even when his breath was running out. Pushing Aelena away slightly, the boy scratched his neck, confusion also flickering through his eyes. "Eethy forgets these things...Abby, too. Ack! Why can't I be as smaaa~aaart as Aurie Aurie?" He exclaimed, folding his arms tightly over his chest. His green tail moved slowly with the water as he floated there, thinking hard.

Yeah, we all have those moments. And I advise you not to put them to waste.
Aura flitted through the forest, flying a few feet above the ground. She headed toward the lake; the presense of the others floated towards her from that direction like a breeze.
Aura reached the lake and stood at the edge, wondering if it was worth getting her wings wet. She shrugged, realizing she could just dry them out herself with a flame.
Upon making her decision, Aura thrust her arms above her head and leaped into the water, breaking the surface with her fingertips and making a perfect dive. She kicked through the water, the natural and invisible air bubble surrounding her head as usual. Aura smiled as she saw Eethan floating near the bottom - and Aelena was with him. "I knew it," Aura murmured to herself, her words creating bubbles in front of her face.
ooc; Hmm... High Elves did that in WoW? But then, it has been a billion years since I've touched that thing. >_> ::mumbles to self::
ic;
Xyrnn raised an eyebrow, wondering where she had seen the girl before. "Oh, hey! You're from earlier, what's her face, that girl..." Xyrnn palmed herself in the face, mumbling into her hand. After a couple more moments of mumbling, she slowly removed her hand, her black eyebrows drawn together in a V shape. "Uhm... Anyhow. Point ears usually equal elves, but you can ask Aurie, since you care about and value my opinion so much." Sarcasm was proverbially pouring from her mouth by the end of the sentence, but her eyes were clear and did not match her tone in the slightest.
[ooc; o: Aurie sounds so cuddly -^o^- ::imagines little plushie:: Kawaii~ x'D]
OoC; Oh, I didn't notice it before... O: Aurie does sound cuddly. =^w^= N'est-ce pas mignonne? -noms on lasagna- <3
Ic; Eethan stuck his tongue out, ignoring the weird stare Aelena shot at him. His head swiveled to the sound of Aura's voice, and he flashed a grin at the fairy that was floating above him and the two girls. "Aurie, Aurie! Lookie, Aelena found us! Can you see her?!" A voice filled with joy and excitement wasn't rare for this merman [ooc; yep, still feel weird... <_<;]. Straightening his dark green, scaly and long fishy-tail, Eethan undolded his arms.

Drake swam over to Eethan & the girls, he was still getting the hang of his new merman tail. A small school of fish swam around Drake. Drake laughed as their tails tickled him as they swam past. He looked around taking in the beauty of all the underwater life. He smiled, 'Wow this is cool.' he thought to himself silently.
Ic: Aura snickered. "Yeah, Eethan, I can see her," she assured him as she swam closer, using her wings to propell herself faster through the water. She straightened her body when she reached them as if she was standing, even though she was floating above the floor of the lake. She put her hands on her hips and looked at Aelena. "Xrynn's guessed it," she proclaimed after not even a moment.
OoC; GAH NO. D; -clings to Dawny- DUN LEAVE ME WITH THESE FREEEEEEAAAAAAAAAKS! DDDD::::::: [No offence...]
Ic; Eethan rolled his greenish-gray eyes, and finally noticed Drake, just floating calmly there next to him, surrounded by a school of fish. "Draaaaaa~aaaaaaaake, I thought you no likeys waaaa~aaater!" He exclaimed, flailing his arms randomly in the air...erm, water.
The scales that were wrapped firmly around his legs in the form of a fish-tail also moved with the ondulations of the liquid they were in. Pulling his dark shirt down to his waist again, Eethan sneezed, as it seemed. Yes, it's actually possible to sneeze underwater. He's a merman, after all, so it makes sense for him, anyways.

Drake watched the school of fish leave. "I fell in." he replied simply, he was still examining his merman tail. He felt it's smooth cool scales & tried to get used to breathing under water. Drake smiled, he was starting learn to use his ability. He gazed at the different kinds of fish. He never really took the time to watch them.
