Aura grabbed her bag and whipped out the door, calling a hasty goodbye to her parents, and started walking quickly down the street. "I could just drive, but no - 'We need both the cars today!'" she muttered, quoting her parents. "And every day," Aura grumbled through her teeth.
She reached the end of the street and turned left. "Three more blocks to go," she sighed as she sped up to a slow run toward the school

Eethan flashed a sweet and childish grin at the people he passed by, walking at a steady pace. The boy was in a cheerful mood today, despite the fact that they ran out of watermelons back at his house [xD]. Adjusting the straps on his backpack just ever-so-slightly, he quickened his pace as the school came into view. Living just one street away from the school gives him quite the advantage, since he always arrives early. A few more students were there, too, which kind of surprise Eethan. Usually, he was the first to arrive.
"Oh well, no big..."

By now Aura was running. "Ugh, if I'm late to first period..." she hissed through her teeth. Her first period teacher was a stickler for being on time. Aura almost visibly shuddered at the though of her punishment if she was late. She sped up even more and turned the last corner, slamming straight into something. Aura hit the ground hard, then blinked twice and looked over to see what she had hit. "Oh, Eethan, I'm so sorry!" Aura gasped.

Eethan turned around, pouted for a moment, but then smiled once again.
"S'okay, Aurie," He replied, stretching out one of his long arms to her. "But I wonder, are you okay? I wouldn't want to hurt you, or anyone else." His green eyes flickered with curiousity, and he blinked once...no, twice. Eethan's expression turned blank as he stared at her neck, and he furrowed his eyebrows.
"Aurie, your wing is sticking out a bit..." The lad pointed out in a low, kidish voice.

Aura's hand flew up to her neck and she felt the smooth tip of her thin wing sticking out from under her shirt. "Oh my goodness, thank you," she laughed, getting to her feet as she tucked her wing under her shirt.
She brushed her hair back from her face and grimaced. "Ew, I'm all sweaty," she whined playfully, wiping her forehead with the back of her hand.

Ooc: HAHA! That whole wing-sticking-out thingy actually happened in my book...xDD

Gender: Female
Age: 17
Appearance: Blonde hair to lower back, and green eyes that seem to glow with happyness or emotion.
Personality: A kind person, who tries to help out everyone. She keeps to herself, because she's afraid others will find out about her secret. She never met her parents, and has no idea what she is, or how to get to the world. She only knows that she's different from everyone else. Her intense feeling that she dosn't belong scares her a little.
Family [who is in your family?]: Nobody that she knows of, but she lives at a foster home with another forster kid who has cancer. She would do anything to protect her "Brother". He means the world to her. Aelena dosn't understand why her foster mother is so kind to her.
Other [anything else?]: She's very close to the element, spirit. [again, if that's okay?]
Your true form: High elf [Blood elf in WoW. n.n]

   Aelena sped out the door, ignoring her mother's helpless attempt to have Aelena eat breakfast. She hurried down the street, not wanting to be late for her first day of school. She had just gotten transfered here to her new foster home, where her foster mother was unusually nice.
Aelena didn't like to talk about ehr old foster homes, but she kept a key ring with a key from each house on her backpack. She had a gold key around her neck that she didn't know what it went to, only that it was the only thing she had from her parents. She liked to think it led to a secret world, where she fit in, and naturally belonged.
   She hated starting school after everyone else.
   Aelena sighed with relief when she finally made it in front of Green Vally High School. Moving to the front door and averting her gaze from everybody else, she tripped and fell over some unknown object. She knew by now, that others would help her up, and try to be her friend, but it was only because of ehr unearthly beauty. She didn't want friends that were only her friends for her looks, she wanted people who liked her for who she was. 
   Just as expected, a guy helped her up, and asked her her name. Aelena muttered a soft "Thank you," and hurried off, leaving the guy rejected.

ooc: FYI, her parents cast the spell thingy on her when she was a baby. [Again, if that's okay.]

Eethan giggled.
"Is that why you looked all wet?" He questioned, standing up on his toes for no particular reason. "C'mon, I don't want to be late! Because then if we're late, we get in trouble. And when we get in trouble, they give us detention. And if we get detention, our parents will yell and..." He continued to ramble on and on about it, turning away from Aura, and walking over to the school where he and many others attended to.

Aura rolled her eyes, grinning, and caught up to Eethan. "Yes, I get it, chain reaction," she interrupted him. Aura had to tilt her head back slightly to look at him, but she was used to it. As they entered the front gates of the school, Aura took a deep breath and let it out as a sigh. "Another day, another pile of homework and stupid reports," she muttered, half to herself. Although she did very well, school was not one of Aura's favorite places to be.
