ooc; >_> Bloody homework. Took me all of Friday until midnight to finish it. -coughmathcough- [/rant]

Xyrnn's feet thumped happily on the makeshift 'road', carrying their owner to the lake that was now only a couple yards away. When she finally cleared the trees surrounding the Lake until she spotted a what seemed like a golden Gryphon [ooc; uh uh uh. Is it spelled like dis? D:], a girl on it's back, a merman [ooc; ::another moment's hesitation::] in the pool, and a moment later, a dozing black cat on a branch.
"Uhm... It seems like I'm a tad bit late." she muttered to herself, taking another glance at the frisking shadow beneath the water. Shrugging her slender shoulders, the girl found a spot where the water wasn't full of rocks, and without a moment's hesitation, jumped into the crystalline water. "WAYHOO~!"
OoC; -giggle- Worry not, dearest Souki! I am creating a master plan... TO DESTROY MATH! RAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGH! -flails medieval flail in the air-
Ic; Eethan's ears perked up at the sound of the water's vibration [Ooc; Wheresth thou beeth? D:]. Folding his arms over his chest, he pouted at the girl who had caused him to yell. Hrmph...stupid girl,The merman [Ooc; I feel weird, saying that... O_o] muttered absent-mindlessly, barely over a whisper. Eyebrows knitted together, the boy simply swam away, pulling down his navy blue shirt just a smidge over his waist.
Eethan's hair was now straight, rather then wavy/curly, it moving like it had a mind of it's own, in this water. His eyes were also a bit darker, with a blueish tint, though barely noticeable. But, anyways... He was still a little miffed, if not, insanely angry. Suddenly, a large Koi came up to his face, it's big, yellowish eyes wide. Eethan stared at the fish, wondering about what the creature wanted.

Yeah, we all have those moments. And I advise you not to put them to waste.
ooc; ::creakishness:: Uh uh uh... Destroying math might be a tinny bit difficult... but with almost the entire world's population of kids helping you, it'll be fine. A cakewalk. Maybe.
And and and. Xyrnn made him yell? Really? -ish very confuzzled- I think I'm lost :'S

Kicking to propel herself to the surface, the girl breathed the clear air in. The water was always cool and calming -- in contrast to back at home, where the weather (at least in her opinion) was always too hot. With another deep breath and a couple strong strokes, she girl shot away from the shore, deeper into the middle of the lake.
Floating in the middle of the unearthly clean water gave her a sense of peace, something that was nigh on impossible in the real world. Releasing gravity's hold on her let her float effortlessly on the surface of the liquid, and closing her glacier blue eyes, the girl was on the verge of drifting off to sleep.[ooc; SNORE! -^w^-]
OOc: AAAH our concert ALMOST got rained out. we went inside for a few minutes because if wood instruments get wet...well, its not really a good thing. Mah poor viola got a few droppies of raineh on it!!!! plus, we had an electric keyboard out in the almost-rain... o_.
Ic: Aura whipped around and saw a slightly familiar face. She narrowed her eyes slightly, then they flew open with recognition. "Oh, I remember you!" she squealed. Then she rubbed her cheek awkwardly. "But...I don't remember your name," she laughed. "Sorry bout that...anyway, I'm Aura, if you didn't know," she informed the girl cheerfully, sticking out her hand. Aura fluttered her wings slightly, shaking the leaves and dirt off of them.
OoC; Will choo halp me, dearest Souki-senpai? I promise to give lots and lots o' puddin'. :B Eethan: D: Ic; Eethan and the Koi continued to have their 'Staring contest'. For a seemingly long moment, they floated there stilly, both of their tails waving in the water. Finally, the fish left Eethan alone, going about his business. Sighing, the boy stared down at the bottom of the lake, noticing something glinting faintly in the sunlight that shone through the clear liquid he was swimming in. Reaching out a hand towards it, he bent down, getting a much better look at the object.
It was simply a rock. How it was shining, he did not know. What was mostly strange was the fact that it had little tribalish markings on it, and deep fissures around the edge. Eethan smiled, knowing it would please his little sister, Abbelinah.

Aelena made her way through the unfamiliar forest. It's dark branches seemed frightening, yet they longed for her to go further. She took the tie out of her blonde hair, and let the golden locks fall around her face, drawing attention to her eyes. She suddenly felt as if she was too complex for this place. This new world, was too simple. Her life was full of complexities, but they all melted away as she started running faster through the forest. The ground suddenly flew out from under her, and she plunged to damp earth, growling at whatever had spoiled her simpleness. She pulled herself to her elbow and looked around. She had fallen into a lake, but the water had spread out around her, making an oval of air around her body. She stood and gasped as the water gently reshaped it's air bubble around her ankles. She looked up for the first time, seeing the amaised faces of various people in her school. Well, creatures.
She recognised the mythical creatures from storybooks. She knew who these people were, even if she didn't see it. It was as if an aura surrounded each one with a recognisable color, or scent, or liquid. She wasn't really sure.
The only thing she was sure of, was that where she should have felt fear, or confusion, she felt exitement as adrenaline moved throughout her body. The same feeling she got when she had pushed that boy.

The girl was just about to fall asleep when something glinty caught her eye. [ooc; Heck, unlikely as poo, but whatever :D]
"What's that?" Xyrnn mumbled to herself as she teetered dangerously between staying in her position and tumbling into the depths. The girl shrugged, and, her curiosity getting the better of her, dived into the depths.
As she descended, she saw lots of sea-life [ooc; Or would it be pond-life? Lake-life? D:!] and the merman she had spotted earlier. She waved cheerily, and spotted the source of shinyness in his hand.
