ooc; Umh uhm.... Giggle Day? I guess I'll do... ah... ::stabs finger onto calender:: July 17th. :]
ic; Kann stared. Show off? Tomorrow? Never. The only part of her power that actually listened to her was fire, and she couldn't really do anything with that... Even if she could control all parts of her gift, she'd never get a rountine down by tomorrow. But as she thought some more, maybe a fire storm display wouldn't be so bad... She could even purposely send a screaming breeze to add to the display of flickering flames. Even she didn't know how many times she had conjured up the little balls of fire and sent them raining down on unsuspecting humans... She shook her head.
Closing her jaw and remembering her manners, she waved cheerily to Adhira, chirping a quick, "Hello! Nice ta meetchyer, Adhira!"
"Now, while we are preparing A presentation, well, more like an act, I ecxpect you two to get to know eachother better. A great way to start out is to learn the others power. I want each of you to do a demonstration of your talent to your fellow student." Then Ree remembered, she remembered when she focused hard and read Adhira's thoughts. "Adhira dear, I know you are really just begining to understand your talent. but I know you have made it work. Before you watch Kanns Demonstration would you please read page 13 Adhira? It will really help you with this demonstration."
Adhira nodded, her smile crackling as she stared at Kann. Reading up the page, her grin widened. Finally, something she understood. Took a while, 'ey? Oh well, this girl wasn't the brightest, but she wasn't dumb, either. Memorizing each letter, word, sentence, Adhira's sea blue eyes began glowing immensely. "Uh...okay. I suppose I should f-find a dead thing..." she whispered shyly, closing the book gently.

Yeah, we all have those moments. And I advise you not to put them to waste.
"No need Darling." Then Ree smiled knowing something that would make Kann happy. Oh how she loved making her students smile. So she closed her eyes and thought hard listening on both their thoughts. She smiled wider. they would both most likely enjoy this. "Kann, show her what you can do."

Kann's eyes shifted nervously. "Uhm, sure, I guess... but be prepared to duck and cover...." The girl cupped her hand out and muttered something under her breath. Before long, a small orb of fire popped into existence in her palm, the fire giving off a cheery crackle, the warm glow giving off heat.
"That," she announced, "was the safe part. Now, prepare to duck under any stray pieces of pain that might be flying your way...." Patting the ball of flame before dismissing it, the girl hoped she wouldn't destroy anything. Picking up a canteen of water, [ooc; Uh... I'll just pretend Kann carries it on her to practice with -^^-] she poured a small stream onto the floor. Pointing at the rapidly disappearing puddle, she tried to make the water rise into the air. Kann stared intently at the water before a couple drops wobbled an inch into the air before shattering, sending a spray all over the floor. Air and Earth gave her similar headaches, both hesitantly trying out the task Kann set out for them before deciding they didn't quite like it and exploding. The blast of wind didn't really damage anything, but the rock shards managed to embed themselves into the wall.
"Great Job Kann! I see you've been practicing! Brilliant Brilliant!" Ree was facinated by how fast her students improved. Though they weren't quite done with training. "Now Kann, could you please set that flower on fire." Queen Ree said to Kann. Normaly she would never suggest harming the widlife, and her students knew that. but she had confidence in Adhira. She could bring its life back and make it more beautiful then ever before. " Go on." She said to Kann. If this works thought Ree we could do this tonight for show off day. Kann will swirl and set some tree's a blaze and while they are still on fire adhira could bring their lives back and hold them there. and then Kann would extinguish the fire and the tree's would be perfect. That was to be their performance. SHe was so lucky to have the oppertunity to teach these two talented fairy's how to control their talent.
"Set... a flower.... on fire...?" Kann stared slightly at her teacher, wondering if she was feeling well. "Go on," her teacher insisted. Shrugging, she peeked the flower, a forlorn looking tulip whose bright yellow color seemed to fade just a bit as Kann poked it. A fire poofed into existence right on the flower, enveloping the plant in a bright blue conflagration.
Staring nervously at the Queen and doing her best to ignore the little pop the flower gave as it burned, she asked, "How burnt do you want this flower?"
Adhira's eyes widened hugely as she watched Kann scorch the harmless yellow flower, of which, though this fairy would never admit it, she thought was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. Her translucent wings drooped, much like a dog's ear. "Oh, jeez..." She managed to say as she scowled sadly.
