Ivy was looking at the shinny thing trying to figure out what it was. She had the look of silent contemplation on her face. She looked at her bare feet she had long sense took off her shoes when she was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. 'Is it a spire?' she asked herself. "It could be a spire"she said uncertain and more to herself than anyone else. "I'm not sure though. I guess we will find out when we get there"she said her round eyes covered partly by her side bangs.

"Spires, eh?" Cecelia muttered, her feet thumping on the ground. Thank goodness she had leather shoes that moved loosely. It would have been a pain to have to walk with heels... Just the thought if it made the girl shudder.

"Spires...." she repeated again. "I didn't know spires shone... I wonder what they're made of?" The group soon approached the wall, with the inevitable sentries on the walls, and the guards at the gates. The guards were obviously suspicious of such a large group, with the admittedly gaudy jewels hanging from their necks. Cecelia was just hit by how their group must look -- they weren't in the best of clothing, and yet, they still had such expensive jewelry on them... The girl tucked the pendant into her dress, just in case.

Ivy walked slowly her dress swaying with her. The ground was somewhat cold but felt as if it had inside heat coming from the inside and slowly creeping outwards towards the surface but something was keeping it from it's true potential. She pondered the idea of why the ground felt this way but it was kinda hard to concentrate with so many people around and it being so bright.. She was used to dim lighting and solitued but she would have to do the best she could. It was better than being completely lost and not knowing what the heck was going on.

"What are you doing here?" the gruff voice of the guard demanded as the group neared the gate, sniffing disdainfully at the group.

"We're just a group of passerby, hoping to enter this fair city," the girl lied smoothly, golden amber eyes full of innocence. "I hope it would not be too much of a difficulty, for one of your rank and status?" Her honeyed drawl was the picture of verbal chasity. The girl curtsied clumsily (it was, after all, something she didn't do very often at home), eyeing the guard from behind her veil of hair. She had to have a gift for this. Lying, anyway; acting on his pride and all.

"Well, I suppose you could pass through," the guard puffed himself up, much to the hilarity of his companion, and his guffaws could be heard quite well. "Oh, shut up," guard one snarled at his snickering companion, opening the door for the group. Cecelia slipped through, not checking if her companions had followed. Behind her, she could hear quite audibly the beginnings of a fight.

"What did you call me?" demanded guard two loudly.

"Time to move on," mumbled Cecelia, hurrying deeper into the mysterious city.

Steven had followed the rest of the group silently, not having anything to say as he merely looked at their surroundings. He had to hold back a grin of appreciation toward Cecelia as she easily lied to get them past the guards. Any of us probably would have been able to do that, he thought ruefully, seeing as how stupid those guards were anyways. But he still admired Cecelia's talent - though he wasn't sure if lying could be called an honorable talent.

Ivy desided to looked at her compains. After all she would be stuck wiht htme might as well know them. She took acount of ever on of them their height, eyes, hair, ect. She also loooked to see who was talking with who and how the others interacted. Alot them seemed ready to talk but there was one guy at the not far behind who she hadn't seen yet and he wasn't really talking to anyone or interacting just kinda there. She slowed her step to match his. She wasn't close to him just alittle infront about an inch ahead on his left side. It was quiter back here and it helped her head ache so she could think better.

Cammo made his way into the castle wall, admiring every piece of stone carved to perfection. It didn't look like the midevil castles of the time period he assumed, no. They looked like aincent Greek carvings. Ones that took hundreds of years of focusing, and talent. Cammo lost his breath for a second, in awe of the sheer beauty. He envied the skill of the crafters who'd carved it. He loved this new group. They wouldn't mind his feelings for the art. He had to hide them from his parents, and friends at his old school, but he still covered the inside of every book withhis charcoal pencil. He gasped, and reached to his pocket, not knowing if it was still there. He breathed a sigh of relief when he found his new one, an unsharpened pencil, and new black smudging chalk and crayon. He whisled, not remembering his trip to the art store. 'I must have forgotten to tale them out' he thought, recalling how he unceremonisly conked out on the couch, unaccepted art scattered around his room that, luckily, his parents never entered. Ever.

"Oh, hey, will you look at that?" Cecelia mumbled, staring up at the "spire" she had seen earlier in the day. It was actually not a spire, but what seemed to be a sheet of some sort of metal, hovering in the clear sky, hammered paper-thin and buffed to an ungodly shine.

"I wonder how in the name of turd they it to stay like that? In the air and all." Fascinated, the girl wished she had her notebook to write in. The little cone of metal hovered in the air, and as a stray breeze pushed the unknown substance a little to the right, it emitted a mournful peal that was not unlike a bell. Cecelia found herself willing the spectacle to repeat itself; and to her surprise, it did. Another gust of wind buffeted the floating 'bell' repeatedly, releasing a frenzy of notes, the tone clashing with the previous ones.

Mystery marveled at it all. The walls, the artistic features, the metal thingamabobber. Absolutely everything. Having the endless attitude of an insane psycho-child, the girl was the kind to be fascinated by the littlest of things. Once, she just kept staring at a measly piece of glass for a full five hours, and hitting anyone who disturbed her.

Seeing as she was the mother-lover of all things musical, she couldn't help but grin cheekily when that floating metal sheet emitted the most wonderful sound she's ever heard, besides that of an oboe, seeing as she loved that kind of instrument with the oddly shaped reed.

"I don't know, but, it's so pretty!" Mystery regretted not having her sketchbook with her at the moment.

Cammo gasped as the metal thing high in the sky rang. He could not tear his eyes away from the blank marble wall in front of him. He just couldn't resist. The bell was so inspirational, and the wall was so tempting, that he whipped out his blanding chalfk and sketched. Just, drew on the blank marble wall. He didn't know why. He didn't know what he was drawing, he just stared at the long, elegant swoops of the chalk, motivated by the ringing. It reminded him of Mystery's voice. Of how it would sound if she sung. He realized briefly that he wanted her to sing. He wanted to hear pure notes chain themselves togeather to create a beautiful symphony like the bell. He had no doubt in his mind that she could, but he didn't know why. He just knew she had the most beautiful voice in the world. He began smudging, still not sure what he was drawing. He heard gasps of realization behind him, where a small croud of teens with stones became a large group that wished to see who was vandelizing their property. He ignored the 'aww's he heard, not wanting to see the whole thing until he was done. He smudgedjust a bit more, and the bell seemed to ring out of his body, came, then carried away on the wind. He looked at it, and instaintly realised it was Mystery.

She was standing on the hill, in front of the great scenery near the castle. Her eyes held so much pure awe. Just like he'd seen them when she'd looked down the hill. Her chin was sticking up, and a smile was settled eternally there. There was no mistaking her unnatureal beauty.

That meant there was no mistaking that he'd drawn her.

Crap.
