Saige wearily rolled onto her back and stretched her legs, her toes splaying revealing the webbed toes all tigers had for swimming. Rolling back onto her side, she slowly got up, the cold still in her bones from last nights patrol of the camp's boundries. A shrill call of two of her friend's names made a shiver run up and down her back. "Ugh, okay, that was loud, Jarabi," said Saige in a soothing voice to the apprentice. "Not all are awake yet, so at least try to keep the shrill calls down to a roar." She gave a wide grin, showing her ivory teeth. Saige's liquid amber eyes looked at Jabari with a flicker of humor still within them. But they also held a weariness, that made her amusement falter just the tiniest bit. Pawing at her ear; a hyperbole to the fact of Jarabi's shrill call out to Larkin and Desdimona.

Desdimona looked at Larkin before looking at the apprentice. "Yes please Jarabi try to keep it down. There are some still sleeping well they were sleeping until someone had to go and squeal"she said playfull swiping her paw over his ear. "Good morning Saige how are you feeling today?"she asked while she looked her with her round mossy green/blue eyes. The blew some causuing some of her fur to sway a bit as she stood in it's path

"Ah, a little stiff from last nights patrol, but otherwise perfectly fine!" Saige grinned, stretching her legs. "Ugh; yeah, stiff all right!" She gave a soft laugh and then rolled her shoulders. Sitting on her haunches her wrapped her long tail around her body and closed her eyes. The morning fog was beginning to disappear quickly as the breeze settled in, ruffling her fur. Saige's fur wasn't a cream white, but more an iridescent white, shimmering different when the light hit her in certain angles.

The young tiger pouted at both females, pushing Desdimona's paw away from his ear. "You guys are no fun! always being lazy and stuff..." He mumbled through closed lips, eyesbrows knitting together. "I just wanna play!" Sighing heavily, Jabari stood straight, and stretched his stiffened limbs over the soft dirt, extending his muscles after that long, well-deserved rest. eyes fixed on the clear-blue sky, the apprentice smiled, watching the tropical birds fly overhead, them letting out a call you wouldn't be able to hear anywhere else.

Yeah, we all have those moments. And I advise you not to put them to waste.
"I'm not lazy, Jarabi, but last night was colder than usual for a summer night. The temperature was a new low." Saige grunted as she stood and shook herself to warm her blood. "How about this, Jarabi. You and I will go and train!" she exclaimed in a bright voice. Something was troubling her, but you couldn't tell. Smiling happily, she flicked him lightly on the nose with the tip of her tail and swung her body around towards the training area. "C'mon! Even a lazy old tigress like me has to stretch!" She laughed and the bounded towards the large lanke shore that was by the edge fo the camp. The rest of the lake was not their territory. It was unclaimed.

"Since when are you old, Sai-chan?" Jabari questioned, smiling, then following after her. His paws ached just a slight, but he wanted to train anyways. Fun was probably the only thing on his mind. Fun was the only thing important to him. His gaze flicked from one thing to another. Trees, plants, bugs, birds, rocks, dirt, sky. He pretty much didn't leave anything out, having a knack for changing his mind frequently.
"So, what we do, Sai-chan?"

Giving a full-hearted grin, she said, "A mock fight. Except you try and hurt me. I won't. I'll pretend to strike. I don't want to hurt our next generation of Guards!" Saige laughed a bit and said, "Show me what you've got, Apprentice!" Her voice was courageos and serious, unlike a normal Guards voice would be if doing a mock fight. It should have a nonsense tone to it, but Saige wasn't much a believer in going soft on the younglings. She gavved a toothy grin, her ivory white teeth bright.

Larkin turned his odd green eyes to catch sight of Saige and Jarabi. He tilted his head to the side and gave a large smile, "Try not to hurt yourself when training, we dont want anything happening to that pretty face of yours." He giggled like an apprentice and continued to bound away beside Desdemona. His ginger tail flicked a fair well to those in camp as he told them not to bother them anymore. They were going to hunt and he would rather like to get back before the sun went down. With a happy smile he pulled in front of Desdemona, "Come on gorgeous keep up!" He laughed.
Desdimona ran fast her paws making soft repeated thumps as they hit the hit the soft ground underneath. She was right beside him and shot him a smile her eyes alight with energy. She pulled ahead of him as he white and black fur was blown back as she ran. They arrived at the Waterfall. There were rocks leading down to the base of the waterfall where you could go for swims and drink if you wanted or you could stay up top and look down on it. Desdimona looked down and saw three gazzele smiling up at Larkin as he ran up beside her.

Jabari was confused at first, having never actually fought a mock fight, not even with the other apprentices. Rolling a shoulder warily, he bent down, curling his lips into a playful snarl. Eyes bright and excited, his tail lashed, from side to side. A chance to beat Saige, a valued guard of the Tribe. Meh, probably not. But oh well, his loss. He was a cub, anyways. Young an naive, still learning life's ways.
"I'm ready, Sai-chan!" He announced, stating the obvious.
