Florestapaw just rolled her eyes and laughed. "I can't, but I can believe," she said back, a mocking smile playing on her lips. Hopping over a log, she weaved in and out of the light; it felt too warm on her dark fur now that she was accustomed to the shade. Her light green eyes were alert and her mouth slightly ajar. A small noise couldn't have escaped the apprentice's ears, even if they were still. A smile spread even larger before her face. "Gotcha," she hissed, crouching down. Crawling forwards, her tail slashed eagerly behind her, though it touched nothing. A loud caw was cut of as she made an almost off pounce. No cat was perfect. She killed it, careful to show no blood, and examined it. She had caught it by the wing, rather than on the back, and had to drag it down with her as she landed on her side.

"My name is Redpaw." She smiled, running exidedly out of the den. Wow, she was living where ThunderClan once lived. Standing where Firestar once stood. Slipping her paws into the places where her mother's had gone. Her uncles, too. Looking p to the sky, she saw that more time had passed than she thought. The sunhigh sun shone through the leaves that held a canopy over camp. From her memories, she could see the sky, but now, the branches entwined, putting shade over the LightningClan camp.

"Do you know where the apprentice den is?" Riverstar called. she ran out of the den after her new apprentice and watched her. She seemed so excited, but almost like she had been here before. Like she was returning home. She wouldn't really be surprised if the young cat knew which was the apprentice den, though they all looked alike.
"That one!" Redpaw pointed out with a soft smile, feeling her whiskers quivver. She missed the ThunderClan apprentices in StarClan, especially Swiftpaw. She loved hearing his stories of the dogs. Each one was different than the last, but she loved the twists he made. It was the only thing he had to brag about, and she didn't mind listening every time.

Blackfox grinned and purred, "Nice catch sweet heart. That will fill up some bellies." HE turned from her and padded away with his paws pounding against the ground in his uncaring way. He lifted his nose to the wind and breathed in softly. A small scent of vole reached his nose but it was stale. With a frown he pressed on. Some scuttling from up ahead signaled a mouse. Blackfox dropped in to a hunter's crouch. His paws didnt excatly glide over the ground. Rather, they slid barely keeping quiet. His bushy tail quivered along with his whiskers. As quick as a wink he shot forward and caught the mouse without it making a single squeak. He grinned in triumph and covered the plump creature in some dirt so they could come back for it later.
"Hm... I still think... Ah ha!" mewed Florestapaw eagerly bouncing. "The last time I was out here, I almost caught a squirrel; I've never eaten it before. Wanna try and catch one?" Her tail was lashing with energy behind her; it seemed it could've cut down a bush. She had almost caught the squirrel. But it had gotten away and scrambled up the tree, and she didn't dare climb a tree. "Unless you have any better ideas of what to do, of course," said Florestapaw, remembering Blackfox was a warrior, and she always had to listen to those in a higher position than her. But her smile was bright as she imagined catching a squirrel.

Blackfox grinned at her cute smile and bright eyes, "Well i dont see why not. Lets get you that squirrel." He purred in his uneven way. He trned and flicked his tail for her to follow. "Come on i will show you the best place to find them." He padded away with his tail swishing back and forth.
Looking around, Redpaw forced the vision of Starry cats far from her mind. She was part of a clan! With dutys, privilages, laws, and borders; everything. She took a deep breath of the LightningClan scent that was already growing familiar to her, and headed ou of camp, closing her eyes. She could sense the trees looming around her, and the underbrush thick near her paws. She searched hard with her mind's eye and caught the small shape of a creature. It was the size of a vole, but she couldn't be sure all she was positive about, was that it was a small, edible creature. She stalked and killed it quickly, scraping dirt over it. As she closed her eyes and looked with her mind again, she was greatly aware of something amiss. Something was there that wasn't supposed to be. or, something was supposed to be there that wasn't. She didn't know, but she tried as hard as she could to see what she couldn't see with her mind.

OoC : I did the different color for her speaking because when I read my own post, it was hard for me to read. xD Anyways, sorry if some of you don't like it.
IC : Florestapaw bounced after Blackfox, her green eyes wide as she let her tail lash back and forth in happiness and just plain old energy to waste. Her paws landed silently on the ground, though with how she was stepping, you would've expected a loud sound to immit from her paws. Suddenly she stopped and calmed down, looking around. She wondered how camp was, but she erased the thoughts from her mind; at least the pessimistic ones. But this only lasted a few seconds, and a smile was on her face again, though not as bright. I'm afraid, of what that apprentice, Redpaw, has to teach us, she thought. I'm afraid... She then followed Blackfox in one of her more quiet moments as she devulged in her thoughts, silently keeping pace. Then she looked at him, and asked with bright eyes, "You're afraid, too, aren't you?" Then she looked forwards and said calmly, "I think fear causes hatred, and that's the only reason the cats hate Redpaw. They don't want to accept new things; they want to stay quiet, safe. I know this amy seem weird for me to suddenly say this, but you know it's true. That's why I was disgusted with the choice to let her stay. You may be a little afraid of me right now..." --she laughed at that--"...but that's me, I guess. I learn things at a different pace and different way than others. But I'm right. And you can tell."
