Florestapaw nodded and tried to stop the laughter, but giggles still escaped as she picked up the thrush she had caught by the wing earlier. She padded quietly beside him and flickered her tail happily. Her green eyes looked everywhere wit joy, and then when she saw the camp, she sighed, and calmed herself quickly. She murmured something intelligible to herself as she padded quietly. Looking up, she purred as a cool breeze wavered through. "It feels nice," she said in a muffled voice because of the prey in her jaws.

Blackfox padded to the fresh kill pile and dropped off his pieces. He licked his jaws and chose a small vole for himself. Dragging it over to the middle of camp where the sun glowed its brightest, he sat down. His dull black pet felt wamred in the light of the sun. He frowned slightly that his pelt once again refused to glow with a glossy sheen. He shook his head and went back to eating.
Dropping the thrush down, Florestapaw sighed and sat in the shade, eventually deciding to lay down. Her eyes closed as she took a deep breath and held it in. Her tail flicked behind her as her ears twiched at every sound; even the sound of paws hitting the ground without such force that the sound would have been louder. Her eyes opened and she blinked slowly, rolling onto her back. "Quiet; how very quiet," she mewed to herself, noticing many cats were not talking to anyone; just staying quiet. Secluding themself and not talking to anyone.
