Welcome to The Four Clans Survivor! Have you seen the reality show? Now play it online... Warriors style.
Do you have what it takes to outwit, outlast, and outplay everybody to become the sole Four Clans survivor? If you are even the least bit interested, read on to find out how to join for a chance!
YOU MUST READ THE FOLLOWING IF YOU'D LIKE TO JOIN AT ALL.
How do I join? If you would like to join, simply post that you would like to. HOWEVER, you must fit under the criteria. -You must be an active member who would check this thread very often for updates. -You can be any rank to join, as long as you PROMISE you won't just disappear after you join.
What happens? Once everyone's joined, I'll divide the ten into two teams. Then, I'll give both teams different tasks/challenges to complete by a deadline. Whichever team does the best job wins that round. The team that lost must vote out one of their team members by PMing me. The team member you choose to vote out must remain a secret, and you cannot vote them out for personal reasons, like you don't get along with them. Unless they are slowing down the whole team because they don't get along with anybody, this is not the bestreason to vote them out. Maybe somebody didn't do ANY work on the challenge. That would be a good person to vote out. After somebody is voted out, Moony writes up a new challenge and both teams work on it again. Each team slowly dissolves until only one cat is left standing. They will be crowned the sole survivor and recieve a custom sig and avatar made by Moony, along with a free sig add-on stating they won. The runner ups may recieve a small prize like a sig add-on as well.
I joined and its been a few challenges, but now I want to quit. Go ahead. Also, if you ever think you're going to be extremely inactive for a while, that's another good reason to quit. If you don't, you'll just get voted out anyway so PLEASE save me the trouble.
What are the sig add-ons for the winners? Here they are!
Your team must write an Adoptables Board review. Your review should include creative ways to express your ideas of this board. Do not go overboard, though. you still want to center the review around the Adoptables board. Do not be afraid to give critique or negative sides to the Adoptables board; reviews usually list the positives and negatives anyway.
Please Include: 1. Inviting images 2. At least three paragraphs of well-thought out critique/praise/feedback on the board. However, I am not judging on length, so don't extend your review too long. 3. Creative sections (not required, but suggested)
Rules: 1. Everybody must particpate, whether they help with ideas, the making of the review, the text, taking screenshots, whatever. 2. Do not hog all the work. This is a big project so it is helpful to have everyone participate. 3. No cheating. 4. Have fun with it! This is a creative task.
I will be judging the reviews myself. They will be judged on: -Creativity of the review -How interesting/well-thought the information is
Winners will not have to vote off a team member. Losers will have to vote off a team member.
Deadline: The final review should be put together and posted on this thread before or on Saturday, February 7th, 2009. That gives you about two weeks to complete your booklets. I suggest starting now so you don't lose any time! This project is big!
Challenge 2: The Four Clans Ad
Your team must create an advertisement for this forum. It can either be an image, text, etc., as long as you think it's creative, fun, and would catch people's attention. You know those ads at the top of these forums? That's kind of what you're aiming for here, except more creative and exciting. Make one that would make people say, "Hey, I want to check out that forum!" You must include the forum name somewhere (Warrior Cats: The Four Clans) and a link (wc.activeboard.com). The rest is up to your team! Your ads should not be larger than 800x150.
Please Avoid: 1. Using improper grammar, spelling, etc. 2. If your team is making an image, avoid too much text on the image. you want some pictures, too.
Rules: 1. Everybody must particpate, whether they help with ideas, the making of the ad, the text, finding images online, whatever. 2. Do not hog all the work. This is a task that is very easy to hog all the work with, so don't. 3. No cheating. 4. Have fun with it! This is a creative task.
I will be judging the booklets myself. The ads will be judged on creativity, organization, and neatness.
Winners will not have to vote off a team member. Losers will have to vote off a team member.
Deadline: The final ad should be uploaded and posted on this thread before or on Monday, January 19th, 2009. That gives you about 10 days to complete your booklets. Do not slack off! Time will catch up to you!
Challenge 1: Warriors Booklet
It is your team's job to come together and make a booklet on your team's cat. Team Squirrelflight, you will be making one on Squirrelflight, Team Crowfeather, one on Crowfeather.
The book must be at least four pages long. It can be more if you'd like. Each page should not be larger than 500 x 400 and all pages must be the same size. Everybody must participate (if someone doesn't, they're probably going to be voted out anyway), whether it's writing text or putting the booklet together with a creative background, or additional art to lighten the pages up. Here's what should be on each page: Page 1. Cover + Title Page 2. Introduction Page 3. History Page. Fun Facts
If you wanted to do more than four pages for brownie points, soem ideas could be a quiz, Table of Contents, Accomplishments page, or and idea of your own!
Please Avoid: 1. Crossword Puzzles, Word Searches, or any kind of game besides quizzes. 2. Using improper grammar, spelling, etc.
Rules: 1. Everybody must particpate. 2. Do not hog all the work. 3. No cheating. 4. Have fun with it! This is a creative task.
I will be judging the booklets myself. The booklets will be judged on quality, neatness, effot, and creativity.
Winners will not have to vote off a team member. Losers will have to vote off a team member.
Deadline: The final booklet should be completely and fully posted on this thread before or on January 2nd, 2008. This gives you about two and a half weeks or so to complete the booklet. Late booklets will cost you a lot of points, so be on time!
Task 1: Pick a Team Leader
Follow these instrcutions to pick a leader. Make a thread for your team on the Games and Activities board. Team Squirrelflight, your thread will be made by Lilyspirit. Team Crowfeather, your thread will be made by Ebonycloud. This is only to ensure that more than one member doesn't make a thread and the board becomes crowded with team threads.
On this thread, you will determine a team leader for your team with your teammates. The team leader: -is not bossy -is online often -is a good leader in general (listens to teammates) -wants to be the leader
The leader may be asked to post certain threads for certain challenges as well as running a smooth team.
Have your team leader determined by 10:00 PM Pacific Time tomorrow (Sunday). Post who your team leader is before that deadline whenever you've determined it. No one will be eliminated this round. We are just organizing our teams for future challenges. Now get to work! ;D
