Roger, aka "The Rat" as many angelic being called him awoke in a dark abaondoned subway tunnel. He gave a gaping yawn and the smells of the rotting city wafted in to his mouth. He cringed at it and opened his dark brown eyes. He shivered slightly as a sudden chill swept over him. This city was getting older and rotting more every day. The angelic beings combed the cities just like this one in search of his kind. The natural born humans. Imperfect and normal. Compared to the angelic beings his face looked like an oger's. He wasnt handsome or ugly. He was just there. Normal in all of his normal glory. "Wake up" he growled softly in to the darkness of the tunnel knowing it would wake up his companions.
Christel stirred at Roger's familiar rumbling voice. She opened her eyes into slits and stretched, sitting up from the awkward position she had slept in. She took a deep breath; she had been used to the faint smell of sulfur for awhile, but it still make her stomach lurch slightly as if it was debating whether or not to retch.
Christel stood, stretching her entire body. She winced a little as she bent her neck sideways; it cramped badly as she put it down to the left. Swiftly putting her head upright again, she held back a moan - not of pain, but her entire body just ached dully...as it had for nearly her entire life.
Lily belle heard Christel. "Are you okay?" she called to her. She was worried for her friends. They all seemed sad most of the time. She was sad, too, on the inside, but didn't let it show. she made it her job to try to cheer the others up.
"SHut up, I'm trying to sleep. I have my blanket over my head to keep the smell out. I don't want to lift it." Cody grumbled as he opened the blanket to the nasty odor. He covored his nose and breathed out of his mouth. "Could we atleast lived somewhere where it DOSEN'T stink. Jeez." Cody got up and streched. He scrached his head and made his dull black hair fall in his face. "It's always with the early wake up call."

"Well if we don't kill him maybe there will be death and destruction and maybe this realm will be destroyed and the Cykarie Realm (otherwise know as the Sye Realm in the future) will have a waged war with a realm Blackfang named after himself." Ryujini said then paused. The three of them broke out laughing.
Roger cast a glance at his companions for a moment before he stood from where he had been sleeping. He stretched up high and let his average body get used to what the day had in store. He cast a glance in the dim light toward Lily Belle, "Hi, rise and shine." He said shortly then sendign a glare toward Cody. "You know the subway is the safest place. They cant fly down here."
Christel merely grunted in response to Lily Belle. She screwed up her eyes and strained her muscles again, smiling minutely as her body stretched out from its somewhat fetal position that she had spent the night in. She kind of smoothed her hair back, although she only managed to brush it out of her face and somewhat shake the dirt out of it.
Grace mumbled and shifted. She didn't want to get up yet. Maybe five more minnutes... Or Ten.... Or Half an hour... Or how about the whole day? Scolding her lazyness, Grace sat up uncomfortably. She cracked her back, and looked in the darkness for Roger. "Dude," She yawned, "How much longer do we have to stay here? I'm so stiff, i think I'll turn into a stick." She knew he was used to the dark enough to see her stick her tounge out and mess up her features playfully. Grace had an innocent beauty to her, but she never would be as pretty as the Angels. In all the groups she'd met, she'd only seen a few as pretty as her. She didn't really think about it often, but her personality was too odd to match her body. She didn't care much about clothes, so she usually wore whatever clean things she could find.
With a large sigh, she crawled to her Captain easily. "What are we doing today?" She asked him, streaching her still-stiff arms.

Lily Belle laughed lightly as Grace crawled beside her, but answered, "I agree, this place is so claustrophobic. Are we leaving today?" She didn't bother to hide the hopefulness in her voice.
