"Seems you are the only one with ninja skills!" He stom[ped on the ground.
Cody walked up the lladder. "I waa go out there first! I'm usually the trap dector.
I set off the traps and you guys go for the gold.

Roger rolled hi eyes and hissed, "Will you guys quit fooling around." He turned and stared up at the ladder. Not a single drop of fear reached his body. Only calmness came from him. HE gave a sigh and ascended the ladder. "Move out!" He called down. He moved swiftly, like th e nickname he had been given. When he reached the top he pushed harshly on the cover to the hole. The large metal circle gave a moaning screech. Roger grimaced and jumped out on to the dimly lit street. Skeletons of buildings rose in teh distnace. Many mising large chuncks and some just ay in heeps of crumbed cement.

Josephine stealthly stalked after the others, her hazel eyes bright with fear and apprehension. The buildings seemed ominous and dark, just like the aura that suurounded them all. The ladder hadn't scared her, neither had the things they had to face; if was the air that surrounded them. Not the oxygen, not that air, the feelings that surrounded her. They were cold, warm, deathly, sad. They could change in an instant. That scared her. She had a very care-free look to her as she walked, but you could tell the fear that was held in her eyes. Looking at their second in command, she felt a kind of hope taht wasn't felt anywhere else in the world. It was a beautiful kind of kindness; one that was unique to Grace. She was a light in the Darkness, as was everyone else.

Laci wiped the blood off on her pants when she got out (they did get out didn't they? If not I will edit it) looking around she saw all kinds of ruin. She saw that her hand was still bleeding slightly but it didn't hurt so she didn't say anything she just stuck her hand in her pocket so she couldn't get dirt in it. She started looking around without getting to far away fromt he group.

Lily Belle followed swiflty behind Roger. She looked outside, too. She had forgotten how horrible the world was around her. It mad her deeply sad, but her misery was quickly replaced with a strong, fierce determination. The world around her was a reminder. A reminder that they had to save humanity. That they had to save the world, and life.

Laci popped up behind Lilly Belle and asked "That happens alot doesn't it?"she came to the ohter side and walked beside her. "The look in your eyes you get sometimes randomly exspecially if your quite and thnking for awhile."she wasn't trying to be nosey she was just asking nd she said it in a respectful tone of voice as to not make anybody angry.

Josephine's quiet voice intruded on the discussion. "I don't doubt whatever Lily Belle is thinking. She is a wise girl, and luckily she knows what she's doing, and what we're doing. Thinks have happened, and I think it's quite amazing that Lily Belle can even have that flame of determination in this time." Her voice was quiet, not loud enough for anyone farther away than Laci or Lilly Belle to hear. Her bright eyes were kind and not intruding in any way; they had such a kind feeling to them. But then there was that shard of determination. Not as strong as anyone else's. It was a dulled kind of determination. Not that she'd easily give up, but that it wasn't as strong at Lily Belle's, or Roger's.

Roger glanced down at the small service tunnel that led to the sub way. Everyone had climbed out by now. "Quick," He hissed, "Before we get caught," He motioned with his hand to the shadows of the crumbling buildings. As the group bolted for teh shade he stood still making sure everyone got there. HE glanced toward the reddening sky. Unfortunanly it always looked like that now. At least in the contaminated zones, the sky was a harsh red in the day and a beautiful velvet crimson in the evening. At night it was as dark as black. The contaminated zones were no longer lit with the elctricity that one was connected here. The only was to see was if you had found an anchient flashlight, made a torch or if one of the buildins collapesd starting a small fire.

Cody poped his head out of the hole. "Wait for me!" Cdody sprang out of the hole. He pulled out a bad-aid and put it on Laci's cut. "Don't want it to get infected, I am the doctor." He said with a smirk. He looked around. Everthing was worse than before. Cody shugged his shoulders, "At least it dosen't stink." He said trying to keep the dpresion away from his tone.
