Griffin quietly walked around on the school grounds. He went over to a place where no one was sitting & sat down. He opened a book & started reading it with out looking up at anything. He would briefly glance up & see a couple people talking to each other, he looked back down at his book. While he was sitting there he had an almost gothic appearance, sitting in a corner alone just reading a book & remaining silent.
Lexi said, " Well, I cant really eat anything.... yeah well cause of my species. My cell number is (724) 397-6844, Taylor and my next class is Lang Arts..... which one of the most boring subjects, then art, and then music. Oops that was long too.. " she smiled. She looked across the room at Ryota, and he stared right back.

Taylor gasped. "FLESH????" she almost screamed. "Oh my god!" She sighed. "Your eyes change colors too? So do mine, they change depending on my hunger...." Taylor smiled. "I guess we're closer than we think!" Taylor looked at Lexi straight in the eye. "We've got to be best friends. We're like cousins! So, call me, text me, do whatever we want. I think our friendship is.... I guess the only hope." She stood up when the bell rang, and went to Art class.
Ryota was watching Lexi and her friend. When Lexi glanced toward him, he held her gaze instead of looking away. Suddenly Lexi said something to her friend and the girl yelled "Flesh?!" Ryota's eyes narrowed in suspicion and confusion. But Ryota ignored it...For now, he thought ruefully. The bell rang. Ryota couldn't help walking up to Lexi. He stood in front of her, blocking her way.
Lex smiled, " I guess, yep my eyes change colors. Okay's I 'll text you later, bye, Taylor.... " Lex stood up and started to walk to Lang. Arts.....but then she saw Ryota, she was blocked her way, " Hey do you skip classes? "

Ryota's eyebrows went up a fraction of an inch; why was she so easily speaking to him, even after their little tiff before lunch? "Sometimes," he replied slowly, then remembering how she had gotten angry about his one-word responses, added "When I get bored."
" Do... do you want to right now? " She asked him... Lex looked up at him and moved her bangs to one side. She turned her ipod and turned it off. " I mean skip class? " She closed her eyes and then looked at him again.

Ryota looked at her, expressionless, in an almost innocent way. His eyes just barely held a laugh. "Any particular reason why you suddenly want to spend time with me?" he asked quietly. He really was curious...though he didn't know much about girls -- did they always have peculiar mood swings like this? He noticed her awkwardness and hesitation when she spoke to him, but chose to ignore it.
" No, I want to talk to someone...." Lex looked up at him. " Please? " She looked at him, with pleading eyes. Lex smiled sort of ackward. She thought he needed someone to talk to. " Come on.. Let's go somewhere... "

Ryota looked at her for a few moments more, then finally, he gave a small smile, but it was genuine. "All right then," he relented. "You know, you could just text that girl you were talking to...even though she seems quite odd to me...I heard her yell 'flesh?!'" He chuckled. "She does look a lot like you, though," he commented, glancing sideways at Lexi. He suddenly realized that this was the most he'd ever said to Lexi at once. Nearly four sentences, Ryota observed. I'm getting quite social.
