Really"he asked worried he looked at her with a worried look in his childish eyes. He saw a butterflya nd couldn't help but look as it splatered ont he window he cringed again looking at it. "Marley you have butterfree stuck to the glass over here"

"Maybe the reason I have bad taste in chicks is because I am one," Kumiko muttered. She finally looked up at him and saw the worry in his eyes. As he looked away to the butterfly, she sighed. "I don't know," she finally said after he had called to Marley. "I'm just...I don't know..." She gave a nervous giggle. "You seem to...attract a lot of girls...and..." She looked down, embarrassed again. "I suppose I'm jealous."

"That has nothing do with your bad taste in chicks"he said with a small smile then what she said next made the smile dissappear. He took a big drink and mummbled "Wish i had a kit kat right now" He cleared his throat and looked at her "Your jealous of girls like Jessika?"he asked "Why in the planet Mars would you be jealous of them? "

"Ooh..." Kumiko suddenly smiled and reached into her left pocket. "Here," she laughed, handing him a small Kit Kat. It wasn't at all melty. "Enjoy," she said, flipping back to the previous conversation as she said "Yes, I'm jealous of them...they're pretty and attract attention from every single guy...and not that I'm complaining, but the only reason you notice me is because we've been friends since first grade." She trailed off, still avoiding his eyes.

Maddix couldn't look at her he looked at marley trying to scrape the butterfly off the window. He shoved the kit kat in his mouth then spit it out "Hate kit Kats"he whispered. Kumiko looked up sharply as he banged his head on the table. "Don't...you're already bleeding," she reminded him softly. Impulsively she stood up and walked over to stand behind him. She put her arms around his shoulders and bent over so her head was next to his ear. "I think you noticed me because I was wearing that stupid Japanese ensemble that my mother stuck me in."
