Welcome to the Moonstar's *Wagging Tails* Animal Shelter!
This is the place to come to claim a furry pet of your own. There will be mostly puppies, but cats may occasionally come through. And also many other animals that you didn't even think could be pets!
Some animals here came from the streets, others from homes, others were bred well and have had a fine life, they've been everywhere and are ready to find themselves a loving, caring owner.

Rules:
1. The current limit of animals you can buy FROM MY KENNEL is two.
2. You cannot buy multiple of the same pet.
3: No spamming/flaming/advertising your own kennel.
4. You must be active so I know you won't waste the pet.

You can name your pet, however, some are pre-named. If you don't like the pre-name, feel free to change it via the adoption form.
The pets also come with some background information such as age, gender, and history.

What do I do once I've adopted my animal?
Uh, what CAN'T you do? You can post your pet in your bio or your signature (as long as the pet meets sig requirements) or your avvy if it fits.
You can make a thread for it to let users comment and work to fill out its requirements listed on the Adoptables Guide.

Have fun here! Remember, an animal shelter is a great place to adopt a pet!

Temperment: Loyal and sweet, fast and gentle... but does not enjoy children. Keep away at all costs.

History: This loving puppy was discovered behind the tangled roots of a tree, whimpering for help. It was starved and had gotten trapped in the roots in the forest. We brought him back to the WTAS for treatment, and we mended his broken leg with a cast. He'll get it off in a few months.
Temperment: This puppy is very cautious after his leg incident, but he is the most lovable ball of fur you'll ever meet and never bites.

Sleeping Corgi

History: Stray. We found him padding along the streets, whining for food. But now he's happy and very healthy.
Temperment: Sweet, would never, ever bite anybody. Loves kids. He can be a little nervous, and please don't shout while around him. It could easily upset him.


Female Shih Tzu

History: Was raised by a kind breeder.
Temperment: This adorable shih tzu is very high class- if put to show she'll have a good chance at winning the crown. At home, she is very sweet, but awfully quiet and nervous. It'll take her a little to adjust to her new surroundings, but once she does, you'll be glad you bought her.

History: Grew up in a small cabin with an owner that didn't give him much attention.
Temperment: Though Loufer can be quite the stubborn one sometimes, he's always ready for a cuddle around the fireplace. Just remember to train him early before he takes his puppyhood skilled to adulthood.

Temperment: Camille is a very playful kitten. She usually behaves only because she hates getting scolded. But buy her lots of toys; they'll be used- ALOT! High class kitten.

History: Somebody called us to report that they had just recued this kitten from drowning in a nearby river. We cleaned her up and now she's good as new- but deathly afraid of water.
Temperment: Sweetest kitten in the world, but incredibly cautious. Be careful and gentle around her.

Baby Emporer Penguin

History: This little penguin somehow got stranded from its mother at young age. Luckily, we found her and treated her nicely.
Temperment: Wild! She loves to waddle all over the place. She's also very curious. But despite her hyperness, she's a very gentle pet that loves to be around humans.
Requirements:
Food: To get food for your penguin, simple take a photo or draw a picture of some yummy fish! Yum yum!
Habitat: Your penguin needs a large ocean with some slippery ice for land! Draw a picture of this habitat or draw a map of this habitat.
