Lucifer smiled. He didn't want to tell anyone that he had almost been put in Slytherin. What did that mean about his character? He could be evil? That thought shuddered, and as he thought of tossing some meat to Dusky, he saw that she was sharing with Ebbs, purring the whole time. Maybe there was more to their teasing than he had thought. Then he turned back to the older brothers with a slightly fallen face. He had never been flying before. How could he have any hope of being on the team? He would try for sure. Hopefully, he didn't embarrass himself.

Ooc: OMGGGG Who else thinks that James and Oliver Phelps [They play Fred and George] are totally HOT?????
Oliver Phelps is MINE! And James Phelps is my FRIEND'S!!!! ^^
Ic: Jayden glanced at Reggie with a grin. "The Sorting Hat told me I'd surely entertain my friends." He shrugged nonchalantly. "I hope I'm doin' a good job of it. Otherwise, I might have to start breaking plates on my skull to make you guys laugh." He made a face. "If it comes to that, well...frankly, you guys aren't worth it." He laughed at his own lame joke.
"Oh, I'm sure you'll be just a fine friend." Brooke patted her friend on the shoulder. Her brothers said goodbye, and went back to their seats. She then turned her attention to Lucifer. She didn't want to tell anyone of how Slytherin would've twisted her "Pure Soul" into something evil. She didn't believe her sould was truely pure, but she knew for sure she wouldn't be in Slytherin. "I promise you'll make it on the team." Brooke told him with an encouraging smile, "I hear we have our first flying class tomorrow."

Tyalor's eyes widened with supprise. "First riding class... tomorrow??" she asked. For once, her mouth didn't have food in it. "Yeah!" Taylor punched her fist into the air and quickly pulled it down, blushing. Other houses were staring at her. "I've always wanted to learn how to fly on a broom!" she said, laughing. "Do you think we'll ever get a Firebolt? I heard that's the BEST broomstick ever!" She tucked her hair behind her ear. "They fly fast and are strong... Nibus 2000 are OK...."
"Tomorrow," Jayden mouthed. His heart missed a beat. Maybe I could suddenly have the stomach flu tomorrow...or my body could ache too much to get out of bed... He shook his head with a sigh. There was no way he could fake sick here. All the magical teachers would know he was lying. He closed his eyes and put his head in his hands, rubbing his temple. He didn't want the others to see the nervousness in his expression.
Reggie turned a sypathetic eye to Jayden. The blue eyed boy looked so nervous, "Hey man, i dont think they are gonig to teach us more then how to get the broom off the ground. Its not like they are going to shove you out of the next and wish you good luck." He smiled warmly, "Plus if they did, all of us would be there with you so dont sweat it." He punched the boy in the arm with a playful smile. He knew he wasnt cheering Jayden up but he could at least try right? One teacher at the head of the dining hall waved her hands getting the attention of all the students. "Listen now everyone," He voice echoed making all heads turn, "It is now time for you to head to your dormitories." With a snap of her finger the food on the table disappeared, "The last year students will lead you to you houses." Reggie smiled largely. "Finally!" He laughed.
Taylor smiled. "Yes!" she exclaimed. "I totally wonder what the Gryffindor house looks like!" she patted Brooke's back. "Hmm... hopefully we'll get beds next to each other! That would totally rock!" She punched Reggie's shoulder gently. "Looks like your excited!" Standing up, she waited for the more familiar kids to lead them to the house. "I heard there is a painting that guards the entrance to each house!" Taylor said suddenly. "And if you get the correct password, the painting swings over and we enter the house!"
Jayden let out a shaky breath and gave Reggie a genuine smile. "Thanks, man," he said sincerely, and stood up from the table. He'd be okay...they wouldn't be flying more than a few feet off the ground...But he wondered if even that could be enough to make him throw up. He checked his back pocket for his wand; it was still there, and touching it gave Jayden an odd sense of calmness. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly, fingering the carved design that wound up the wand; it was like a vine with leaves on it. "Okay," Jayden breathed, trying to relax; his wand seemed to give him comfort just by holding it.
Taylor looked around and saw Jayden, having a weird expression on his face. "What's wrong?" she asked, leaning her head on his chest lightly. She always has a tendency of doing that. "You look... scared, in a way!" Taylor sighed. She didn't want Jayden to be... nervous about something, expecially since he was the one who helped her get out of her shyness with their group of first-year friends. "Really man, what's wrong?" Taylor lifted her head up from his chest and stared into his eyes. They showed worriness and frightness. "Scared about something?" she asked gently.
"Haha~ Yeah!" Lucifer jumped up as the other students were getting up and he went to where all the first year's had left their luggage. Dusky leaped up to his shoulder as she saw him dashing off. He got to the hallway and looked for the glowing tag. Not many of the other bags had glowing tags, so it shouldn't have been hard to find. But it wasn't there. None of the bags were there. He turned and raced back out. "Our bags are gone! Do you think they already put them in our dorms?" He asked, and saw Dusky roll her eyes at his excitement.
