Alrighty, this is gonna be my Story Den, for whatever stories(rare) I think of. I'm not much of a writer, but whatever. xD Enjoy~

This is just a REALLY short story I thought of while looking at Ebonycloud's "Black in Black" picture of the black-furred leaders of StreamClan. ^-~

StarClan's Secret

     A dark brown tabby she-cat lay at the edge of a starlight pool, her starry fur also reflected in the pool. She waited, with her paws tucked underneath her, seeming to look at nothing. The bracken behind her rustled and a gray tom, followed by a blue-gray she-cat stepped into the small clearing. The tabby turned her head to the newcomers. "Hello Eaglesight, Rainpelt." She nodded to both of them.
     "Hello Duskheart." Rainpelt purred warmly, "You wished to speak with us?"
     "Yes, I did." Duskheart smiled. "Come sit and make yourselves comfortable. You two aren't hungry, are you?" She asked.
     "Not at all, we just ate." Eaglesight meowed.
     "Great. What I have to say is strange, and yet I realized that it's unavoidable."
     "What is it, dear?" Rainpelt asked, her blue-gray fur glittering with the stars scattered across it.
     "I've noticed recently, and I'm positive of it. Haven't you noticed how every single leader of StreamClan was black-furred?" Rainpelt just looked at her in curious surprise, wondering where this was going. "Think about it. Shadestar, Shadowstar, Ebonystar, and Blackstar, all black-furred." Rainpelt slowly nodded, while Eaglesight looked off into the distance, contemplating in the silent way that he sometimes did.
     "What about all the deputies? Only a few were black-furred." Rainpelt put in.
     "Exactly! None of them survived to become leader. Coincidence? I really don't think so." Duskheart frowned at the still pool. "Every StreamClan deputy who isn't black-furred will die. Don't you think that's slightly important?" She asked, looking back at Rainpelt and Eaglesight.
     "Did you just make a prophecy?" Eaglesight asked her his piercing blue eyes staring at her in shock.
     "I don't think so...I just hope I'm wrong. We can save more lives that way..."

Rainpelt belongs to Rainpelt
Eaglesight belongs to Flight

Sorry if I used your characters without permission, I just thought that they would fit this scene the best. If you don't want them in the story, tell me so I can replace them and edit the story.

XD Thaaankies both of you~ Small inspiration for a small story. xD I decided, why not? Anyway, I kinda did and kinda didn't make a prophecy. Dusky hopes she's wrong, and yet thinks she's right. So *shrug* it doesn't change anything. xD

Ahaha. Well, I mean, it's IMPOSSIBLE to have every deputy be black-furred. And if all the leaders are black-furred, it means that any deputy that wasn't black-furred died. xD It's just logic.

Hahaha... Hopefully Flightstep will live so she can become deputy again after heals... I think that's how it's going. She SHALL live to become leader. xD I swear upon it.

Little Flighty, LEADER? Whoa. xDDD I never even THOUGHT about that, really. I mean, Bubblestar would have to die...o: I never actually considered the whole "Flightstar" thing when I first made her deputy. xDD
