"eh..." wingpaw said. He looked at the cobwebs and reached for them. He got some in his mouth and placed them gently on his wounds. A spider crawled up his nose. Wingpaw twitched his muzzle and blew air up on it, trying to knock the spider off. He hissed a little when the spider didn't come off and he blew more. The spider jumped on the top of wingpaws head. He tilted his head. "where'd it go?"

Thornleaf smiled and swiped the spider off with his paw. "Gone now!" he answered. Waiting for Featherpaw to catch up, he asked Wingpaw, "Are you taking it in shock that your love is your sister?" Licking his pelt, he went on. "Well.. it's good that you love her. After all, she's now real family!"

Wingpaw looked at thornleaf. "but I really loved her! Now all I can do is love her like a sister!" be said. He looked at the spider and flicker it around with his paws. "and why does northwind have to be my father anyway? He's not even like me! He doesn't like me as son!" he flicked his tail back and forth and snapped the spider in his mouth.

Ic: Thornleaf shrugged. "Well, you can't control who your father is. As a matter of fact, I grew up loving MY sister!" Shaking his head, he remembered is young kit and apprentices days. "But you'll have to accept who you are. You can't just go kill yourself if you don't like your father or mother.." Thornleaf looked at Wingpaw. "Listen. You'll find another cat who you'll love to death, and you'll love Featherpaw to death as her being your sister!"
