Padding into the warrior's den before she and Thatcher left the camp once more, she said in a small voice, "Keep drinking lots of water, and get sleep, Iradisa. I will see to it you get sleep. No interuptions, all right? Just water and sleep. No food." She gave Nolan and Iradisa a calming smile and then exited the den, stretching in the light. Yawning, her blind eyes stared absent-mindedly at the sky. Though, all she could see was black. Her eyes closed and she stretched again before opening them slowly. She had no true reason to keep her eyes open.

okay, then. unfortunately loving an idiot who doesn't love me back. but i'm not falling. i just kind of... am. .
Thatcher limped through the camp in search of his mate. The she wolf sat rather dejectedly on the top of the hill he usually sat on. Thatcher tilted his head but limped forward. "Juniper!" he called without care. "I need you to do something for me." When Thatcher stopped beside her he noticed tears in her eyes. He didnt say anything, rather he waited for her to explain. "Thatcher... do you love me?" she asked softly. "No," Thatcher replied bluntly. Junpier flinched slightly away from his unphased tone. "Then what are we doing?" She turned to him with her ears hanging beside her head. "We are doing our jobs and right now you arent doing yours. I need you to step up and act like a betaess." He said firmly. Juniper snarled at her mate, "How can you be so heartless?! We have known each other our whole lives and i had hoped you would change when we became mates!" Junpier's face was now tear streaked. Desperation and anger filled her cracking voice. "Well i havent, now are you going to do your job or not?" Thatcher said without emotions. "Forget it!" she snarled. The she wolf turned and bolted away. Thatcher narrowed his eyes and snorted. "Alright. For now i shall be without a mate. Its fine." Thatcher turned and limped away. Now that he no longer had a relationship with her, he was free to focus on keeping his alpha alive. That was all he needed in his live. Nothing more than to be just a living shield. Thatcher sat down outside of his den for a moment and stared at the sky. He knew that he should be feeling regret, but that emotion was alien to him. He had never felt it in his whole life. He didnt feel it now.
Pounding footsteps shook the ground. What did that idiot do now?! she thought, lips curled. Snarling something to herself, she gave up on the Beta for now and decided to go out herself. She didn't know where to, or why, but she'd come back when she was actually needed for something. She stopped in the glade and sat quietly, recollecting her thoughts that currently ran free. Snapping more than half of them, she was left with a select few to think of. Ones that actually mattered at the moment.

Thatcher glanced around for the young wolf he was going to train but she was no where to be seen. He gave a low snort and turned away. What was the point of teaching her if she didnt want to stick around an learn. Thatcher growled deeply to himself as he thought about what Juniper said. He should have felt bad, he should have felt horrible. By all right he should have chased after and her tried to take her heart. She wanted to be loved, she wanted to be wanted. She wanted him to chase after her and show her that he was willing to pursue her. Yet here he was. Calmly sitting with a grim frown, just as always. What was the point in finding love? It hurt, it was annoying and very troublesome. He would always have to worry about the way that wolf felt. What was the point in that? Living without emotions and without a intimate relationship was so much easier. You didnt have to worry about feelings because there were none. What was so wrong with that?
Echo shrugged and faked a smile at Oki. "I'm sorry... thank you for understanding me.." she murmured. Slowly, she trudged away from the alpha. "I just want to see Dolpha right now.." she murmured. "Just wanna.." Echo closed her eyes slightly and she stepped into a ice cold river. Her eyes flashed open and yowled. "It's COLD!!" she screamed. It took her a few seconds to get back to the earth. Echo took deep breaths and dunked her head under water. Right now, all she wanted was Dolpha.. but he was nowhere.
Dolphas ears perked up and one twitched as he hear echos yowl. He dropped the three birds he was holding and he looked around. He couldn't tell if that was a playful yowl or a cry for help kinds yowl. He smelled the air for her scent and he quickly began to run on his three paws. He was going to fast he couldn't stop. He fell into the freezing river. He opened his eyes and popped his head out of the water. He shivered and jumped out and sat down along the side. "that was not supposed to h-happen...." he shivered.

Echo laughed when she saw Dolpha jump into the water as well. "Hey.." she said. "I screamed because I fell into the water," She blushed sheepishly. Echo swam up to him and rubbed her cheek against his. "I love you.." she whispered. "I love you more than anything," Her eyes shined brightly when she looked at Dolpha.. just his pelt was so sleak... so beautiful. She sighed. "I wish you were the alpha," she whispered.
Dolpha looked at her with a small smile. He was glad she wasn't hurt. Alpha? He thought. He was probably to....well....untrained to be alpha. He'd probably be a bad one. He was to risky. "I can't be alpha...." he whispered to her. "unless alphas are like me... I'm not ready for that kind of thing..." he turned to her and licked her cheek gently.

Yeah, we all have those moments. And I advise you not to put them to waste.
