"Yeah," Nella agreed. "It's odd, but it's almost as if my hooves ache allready, because I'm not used to being able to graze on so much land. It's a nice sort of pain, though, because it means change. And if at any time, that horrible time when we were not free was the time we needed change most. I wonder where we'll go now." Nella stopped and thought a moment. "Well, wherever it is," she added, "I think it'll be better than the place where we've just come."
Yoko tilted her head, skidding to a steady halt near the river. She gingerly bent her head down and slurped the clear, icy water. It slipped easily down her throat, and she felt quenched and tired. "I agree," she whinnied softly. "It's so much different. Being contained did not prepare us for this horrifying journey. We will have to get used to it ourselves, without the assitance of preparation." She lowered her head to nibble some thin strands of grass.
Athalupa troted over to Talus and whinned, " Hey... " she was really sore from all the running from the men that captured them. She blinked and her blue eyes shinned a bit. She looked around at the valley. It was crisp green in the setting sun's path. She smiled at Talus and murmered, " We are free... that's all that matters... " She closed her eyes and let her body be warmed by the sun.

Talus nodded his head in agreement, making his long raven mane flitter softly. "Yes we are free thanks to your leadership. But we can not rest for to long. We have to keep moving to get home." Talus turned his brown eyes to the skyline, "We have to keep giong until we see the large green valley we used to live in. The open plains that lay around it." The chesnut horse sigh softly, making his soft lips quiver. "I suggest we get a bit of rest before we move on though." With a chuckle and trotted the a shady spot not to far from the river. He folded his long black and brown legs beneath him and settled in for the night.
Looking to Athalupa, Eden gave a sigh and said out to her, "And not only we are free, but we have each other; am I right?" He smiled and then noticed he was the only one who did not eat nor drink. He gave a hearty laugh and lowered his large body slowly to the ground, careful not to hurt any bruises or sores that he might have recieved from the humans. His head slowly lowered to the ground as he nodded a quiet good night.

Nella nodded in agreement. She bent down to nibble some grass as well, feeling the cool, fresh grass slip down her throat soothingly. She closed her eyes for a moment, feeling the wind blow through her mane, and hear the soft sound of the wind that accomponied it. Suddenly she heard something else, and the ground seemed to vibrate under her feet. It was getting stronger, and the noise was louder, hard hooves on the soft, grassy earth. She lifted her head and looked behind her. In the distance, she saw a few horses, about four or five, with people riding on their backs, accompanied by many trucks towing large horse trailers, just like the ones the horses had been captured with. "They're coming!" Nella cried to the others, and began to run.
