Username: Florestadream Character name: Blackpaw Gender: male Apperance: Ironically enough, Blackpaw does not actually have black fur. Rather, he has fur of the opposite color. Blackpaw has crystal, ice blue eyes and is shortfurred. Though his naming is rather confusing, and his ivory fur causes him to stand out, Blackpaw earned his namesake for a good reason. Personality: Blackpaw is kind, and yet his parents were cruel and ruthless. The day he was born, his parents named him Blackpaw, in the hopes that he would be as unforgiving as them. Actually... Blackpaw is rathed the opposite of his family. He is loving, compassionate, forgiving, and understanding. He's always willing to help, no matter what, and enjoys the thought of being with his friends. Parentage: He didn't like his parents; refused to acknowledge their existence after a while. (Mother: Treewhisper. Father: Feathersong.) Other: Clan name suggestion?: SpaceClan (If this seems a tad weird, it is only because I am studying astrology in my spare time.), MoonClan (Hahaha... Same as Ebonnie's), and.. Erm... I give up. xD BraveClan?

okay, then. unfortunately loving an idiot who doesn't love me back. but i'm not falling. i just kind of... am. .
Dustpaw opened his groggy amber eyes only to see the filtered light of the sun trickling in to the apprentice's den. He sneered a bit and stood. A gaping yawn parted his mouth as he stretched. He glanced sideways to see the other still sleeping. With a roll of his eyes he made his way out of the den. The morning sun was barely visable over the tree above. The bramble entrance to the camp quivered as the dawn patrol came back from their rounds. None of them looked worried so Dustpaw took the hint that everything was normal. "Great," He muttered with another yawn, "Another boring day here in the life of a clan cat." Dustpaw bent his head down and gave his fluffy white chest a few swift licks before he turned to groom the dark brown tabby fur that covered his back and tail.
Earthpaw woke up to the bright morning light coming through the den. She yawned and rolled over to get up and stretch. She saw Dustpaw licking his chest outside. Earthpaw sat up and mumbled, jokingly, " Morning, Dustpaw.... isn't it a horrible morning? " She looked up at him and smiled. " What were you saying before? I didn't catch it. " She opened her mouth and yawned loudly as she walked out of the den. She hated sunlit mornings.

Lilypaw blinked the sleep out of her eyes, excitement flooding her head. Another day of training! Her paws weresore from the day before, but she couldn't wai to streach them again. The sunlightcalled her forth out of the den, andshe fell clumsily into the two other apprentices. "Oops!" She gasped with a laugh, "Sorry!" She licked her chest nervously, and looked around for Wisheyes. The Warrior and Lilypaw's father were supposed to go out with them to train at the Hollow, but she wasn't even awake yet!
"Watch where you're going." Sandclaw called over to her before ducking into the Warrior's den, no doubt to wake her up. Lilypaw sighed and loked at her paws, embarassed. 'I should have been more careful,' she thought.

" Lilypaw! What was that for? " She looked up at her best friend. " Come on, you great lump get off me and Dustpaw...." Earthpaw shook Lilypaw off, when she saw Skystep, her father. She started to pad towards him and he lightly smiled, " Hi, Earthpaw...." He then padded towards the Warrior's den. He met up with Lilypaw's father and the started to pad out of camp to go hunt. Earthpaw sighed and padded back to Lilypaw and Dustpaw.

Dustpaw pushed Lilypaw off of himself as well and gave her a steely glance. "Be careful. You dont want to hurt yourself. If you do we'll wind up having to do your jobs." Dustpaw's voice wasnt angry despite the harsh tone he spoke in. Rather it was more concerned. Now whether he was concerned for Lilypaw's safety or for the extra work was left undecided. "What is up with the parents today? Are we all supposed to be acting like complete... well... not nice cats?" Dustpaw would have concluded his rude statment but he had gotten a dark look from a passing warrior. When the warrior wasnt watching anymore, Dustpaw stuck out his tongue and snorted.
Earthpaw giggled when Dustpaw stuck out his tounge. Then Earthpaw's mentor Leaftail, came over, " Come on, Earthpaw. We're going to practice our fighting skills, you can come too, Dustpaw. Your mentor said so. " Earthpaw sighed and looked at him. Her bronze eyes were still sleepy. " Okay, Leaftail. " She felt her stomach rumble, and Leaftail said, " Oh no, you can't eat until you practice. "

Dustpaw made a pout before he trudged behind Leaftail, "Alright... That old furball Shallowstep hardly ever trains me anyway. He is to busy laying about." Dustpaw rolled his eyes and flicked Earthpaw in the side with his tail. "Well at least we will get some training today right? Perhaps we could even make it an adventure! Something, anything to get a little excitement!" Dustpaw's golden eyes blazed with mischief.
Earthpaw laughed and mewed, " Yeah! That sounds like fun..." When they got to the training hollow, Leaftail mewed, " Okay, today we will be learning how to do two-part combat battle. So Earthpaw and you, Dustpaw will team up to battle me. Pretend I'm a cat form a different clan. Oh, and remeber, this is just practice so keep your claws shethed. " Earthpaw smiled, " Excellent.... let's go, partner!" She showed her white teeth.

Sandclaw gave a grunt and walked past Lilypaw to the camp entence. Obviously, the young warrior hadn't woken up. "You comming?" He called in her general direction. With a sigh, Lilypaw padded after him, trying to be more careful on her toes. She really was graceful and looked careful, but she never had her head on straight. She was always up in the clouds. Before she knew it, her father had led her to a clearing with Leaftail and the two apprentices from earlyer. Either the apprentices were really mad at Leaftail, or they had already stared. Lilypaw and her father sat next to each other, watching the mini-battle take place.
