"Yeah I toured with Metro Station and Stereo Skyline"he told her smiling "Both really amazing bands. By the way it's fine I didn't really know them so I didn't get attached. I know that sounds bad but I was just a little kid and as far back as I can remember Dr. Alexander and his wife were there" he cut some of it out but that's okay. "Anyway Do you play music and what's your name?"

Story blused and ever so slightly raising her shoulders she offered 'well.. I um, do play guitar.... but I'm not that good... But thats really cool! music is my passion, along with reading, it helps me... escape my troubles." With that so many horrible memories that she had sung about and wrote about in her songs all flowed into her mind, eating her from the inside out. A tear escaped her eye but she held it all in 'um, hey do you, the one who called me mouse, play anythinggg?' her g's at the end of anything quivered as she held in the memories. Thats when the beeping sound started. The intercom seemed to scream out at up but maintain a calm texture to the female robotic voice that poured out of it. it said 'Code 5, all scientists report to confrence room imediatly' Then it dawned on her, all the adults, all the sciencists, they were dead. And now something was wrong.

Alex had almost fallen out of his seat as he had been tapping away on his BlackBerry, trying to untangle the knots that his absence had caused on Earth. He had been wondering, absently, if this so called 'vacation' was hurting him more than it was doing him good. All thoughts of returning home, however, were knocked out of his head as surely as he had been knocked out of his seat.
The pretty young boy had been lying there on the ground, pouting slightly as he stared upwards and waited for the chaos to settle. He only started to stir when the robotic monotone come out one of the miraculously undamaged speakers. "Code 5," it proclaimed in a strangely dead voice; "all scientists report to conference room immediately." A pause later and the same message poured out in different languages. Alex understood almost all of them, but the meanings didn't register. His mind was already fixed on the first time he had heard the words in English.
"What?" he wanted to know, sitting up. He was really talking to himself, but he didn't intend for that to continue. He tilted his head and glanced around, eyes finally resting on those that were chattering away about music (at least, that was what he thought they were talking about. He hadn't really been actively trying to read lips). Standing, he dusted himself off. Alex managed to get most of it off, but one patch stuck stubbornly to the black fabric of the Armani suit. He scowled. He had been planning on a meeting, thus the formal clothing, but honestly, how was he supposed to move in this thing?
With a sigh, he walked forward anyway. He was going to have to get used to dirty clothing; from what he could tell, showers and cleanliness was going to be the least of his worries.
"Hello," he said politely to the two. Alex paused, and, assuming they understood English, continued, "Would you by any chance happen to know what the heck just happened?" His face was masked, neatly hiding the confusion behind an indifferent face. He may have been a criminal prodigy, but human beings reacted strangely to unplanned events, and at the top of that 'unplanned' list happened to be a piece of space rock crashing into this space station. Don't they have precautions against this kind of thing? he wondered vaguely as his clear, level green gaze continued to rest on the others.
