RE: ThunderClan Roleplay~

Ebbs recognized the hope in her voice. A sad frown quirked her lips downward, she was all to familiar with the look in the tabby she cat's eyes. There had been something growing between the two since they were apprentices. Goldheart and Ebbs had both noticed it but kept quiet. They knew that Duskheart's love was innocent and well placed. Yet Eaglesight had disappeared anyway. It almost seemed suspicious that he had disappeared when Duskheart's love was beginning to come to full bloom. Ebbs glanced down with an impassive look. She had never experienced that kind of feeling and perhaps it was all for the better. If that feeling caused such pain it didnt seem worth it.
"I dont know what we would do about Thunderclan," Ebbs sighed finally. "Perhaps your deputy or someone could take care of it while we were away, then again... it might not even be for the best that we leave." Lily flashed back in to Ebbs' mind. "I dont know what we could do." Anger flooded her voice as she flexed her claws, letting them scrape against the rock beneath her.

Duskstar sighed and dropped her gaze back to the stony floor of her den. She lay down slowly, and finally said, "There was never any hope, was there? Of anything..." She took a deep breath and then continued. "He was never going to like me in the same way, and now look what's happened. Most of my cats don't even come to me with small problems." She looked up, the anguish apparent in her eyes. "They saw what his disappearance did to me, and now they don't even trust me to be calm about simple things. What if I'm the death of my clan?"

Ebbs sat up straight and a slightly annoyed look took over her face. "Dont you say that Dusky. Dont you ever say that again." Ebbs' ice blue eyes blazed with determination. "There was hope. And there will always be hope. An old furball like me may not no many things about relationships but i do know one thing. A love as true and as pure as yours cant just fade away simply. We will find him. He may have left because of conflict in his heart. How could he betray what Starclan wanted for him? Perhaps instead of choosing... he took the easier way and just left." Ebbs sighed knowing that it wasnt helping to say that. It was almost like his emotions were strong enough for either. "We have to find him." Ebbs said with nothing but determination.

"That's the thing though. He wouldn't have left. It was completely unlike him to leave. How could we find him if he went against StarClan, and against himself?" Her eyes glimmered with a faint hope, a tiny light in the darkness of anguish, a light easily extinguished. "He shouldn't have ever left. But how? How could he still be alive? And how would we find him? His trail was lost all those seasons ago, after that first rain which led to so many others. If the time to find him was ever alive, it has long since passed."

Ooc: Gonna go sleep. if you post fast enuff, I'll reply tho. xD

Ebbs frowned again, "Listen, if he wanted to leave that is his own problem but now telling us was wrong. We at least deserved the chance to know." Duskstar's stance still stayed the same. Ebbs felt her blood hit its boiling point and she exploded, "Listen, i am going to go look for him whether or not you think he is alive. I have faith in that stupid tom. He was to stuborn to die anyway. Grow a backbone Dusky and decide what you want to do. I am not going to stay here and try to comfort you when i have already given you an alternative." Ebbs' Windclan tendecies were prominent in they way she talked. She quipped and growled with every word. Almost every single Windclan cat was like that and Ebbs was no exception. "Follow me if you want. I am going to leave and look for him whether or not you come." Ebbs wasnt quite thinking clearly. She knew at the back of her mind that she had already promised to train Willowkit but her passion had taken her over and now she had other things on her mind.

OOC: Night Dusky =D

Duskstar did what she usually did when another cat exploded in anger: stay calm. She was completely and utterly calm, something that she would not have been a moment before. "And what of Willowkit? Your promise to my clan?" Was her only reply. Yes, she would follow Ebbs if her friend left, but she could not leave her clan with such little care. She would not. Even if it meant Eaglesight's death, something she could not even bear to think about, she could not give up this clan for a selfish desire like that. It was common sense to every cat. A leader could not just run off when they pleased.

Ebbs felt her shoulder shake with rage. Yet Duskstar was right, what of Willowkit? Blind passion filled Ebbs' heatr which is what usually happened when the she cat made up her mind. It had been the same when she had become a medicine cat, a rogue, a deputy, a leader and now a loner. Her passions brought her nothing but her drifting heart and conflicting emotions. "Foxdung!" Ebbs hissed darkly and spun around. She stalked out of the den and down the rocks rather clumsily. She tossed a heavily annoyed glance at teh medicine cats den. She snorted and stormed to the entrance of the camp. As she tried to blunder out of the camp she managed to get her pelt caught in every single thorn. "For crying out loud!" Ebbs growled. When she had finally gotten free of the brambles, she stalked in to the forest to cool off... or set out on her journey.

"Ebbs!" Duskstar called. The black she-cat didn't seem to hear her. The tabby leader sighed and padded out of her den. She could easily see where Ebbs had ripped through the thorn tunnel in her rush to get out, and saw some of the ThunderClan cats glaring at the entrance to the camp. Others were looking at her with an expression in their eyes that asked, 'Why did you bring a crazy cat into camp?' Duskstar turned back around and settled into her nest, falling asleep somewhat slowly.

Duskstar blinked her eyes open and looked around. She wasn't in ThunderClan, that was for sure. Beneath her stretched an endless field of blazing stars. Each and every blade of grass was a star, and the carpet beneath her glowed of its own radiance. "Why am I here?" she asked herself quietly.
"Because there is something I need to tell you." A voice drifted from across the field. Duskstar's head swiveled toward where the voice came from, and she saw a brown-and-black cat appear.
"Darkstar?!" The tabby she-cat was surprised to see the old ThunderClan leader. He had been the one to make her deputy, and he had always seen something special about her, even when she was a kit.
"It is I," he answered with a chuckle. "But I come for a more serious reason. You must be careful. A danger hovers on the horizon for ThunderClan."
"Danger?" Duskstar almost flinched. She had been expecting something as much.
"Yes,"

"Beware the wisp of a shadow that was once a great cat.
Beware the shadow which can bring the brightest of dawns,
Or the darkest of nights."

The dream-scape faded from around Duskstar's vision. "Darkstar, wait!" She called. The old leader didn't seem to hear her as the world faded away.

"Ebbs?!" Willowkit dashed out of the medicine cat den to fetch the new medicine cat, but she was nowhere in sight. "Ebbs?" The few cats in the clearing turned to look at her as she shouted the name of the loner. Their gazes were not kind, but Willowkit could tell that their hatred was not directed at her.

OOC: I have a bad feeling about that prophecy XD hehehe!

Ebbs stormed through the forest. The trees seemed to choke every one of her breaths. She hated how closed in it was here. How could Thunderclan cat's live this way? It almost seemed cowardly to hide behind the trees and strike from the dark. At least in Windclan things were in the open. THere was nothing you could hide on the moorland. Ebbs felt her passion getting the best of her but she didnt know how to stop it which only made her angrier. "Darn it!" she cursed herself. Before she knew it she was on the border of Thunderclan and Windclan again. She sneered darkly and looked up the river to the Moonpool. "Stupid Starclan," she hissed, "If they hadnt put so many restrictions on being a medicine cat, then perhaps that stupid furball would still be here!"
The black she cat wasnt gonig to let her warrior ancestors get the better of her. Why not go and have a chat with them to see what they had to say for themselves. Ebbs bolted in to a sprint. Her movements were heavier than normal since her anger caused her to be careless.

ooc: XD I'm sure you can guess who it's about.

Ic: Willowkit saw many of the cats glaring at the thorn tunnel and realized that that was where Ebbs had gone. She dashed through the tunnel, not getting scraped too badly because of her size, and was instantly hit with Ebbs' scent. It hung in the air, as if enticing her to follow it. So follow it she did, and was soon exhausted after running through what seemed to have been half the world to her. Everything was so big! But that didn't stop her. Ebbs had told Willowkit to tell her when Lily woke up, and when Willowkit had left the den, it seemed that the tribe cat was close to waking. When she reached the stream, and saw a huge field, she stopped, taking in a deep breath. This was WindClan territory! Willowkit gulped. What if she went to WindClan? Willowkit knew enough of the warrior code even as a kit to know that she would be attacked if she crossed the stream. But then Ebbs' scent came to her again, and she realized that the trail went along the border, past the forest and the giant clearing (for that was what the moorland looked like to a kit). She bounded off again, and found that there were stones underneath her paws, rattling and clanking with each step she took. Maybe Ebbs could hear her now. "Ebbs!" she called into the distance, following the scent that seemed to choke her senses.
