RE: ThunderClan Roleplay~

Ebbs growled to herself and licked her paw where her claws had been snagged from climbing the rocks again. "Now i remember why i hated coming here every half moon." A soft whisper touched her ears. Its sounded so far away. The black she cat sneered to herself and ignored the voice that was Willowkit's After a brisk trot she was at teh side of the Moonpool. Its cool clean surface lay undisturbed by the test of time. Remembering how to use it, Ebbs bent down and lapped up the freezing water. She closed her eyes and waited for a moment. The chill of the water ran deep but when she opened her eyes expecting to see Starclan warriors, all she saw was the other edge of the pool. It lay there calmly just as it had before she closed her eyes. Ebbs was furious now. She bent down and lapped a few more drops but nothing replied to her attempts. She turned her fuming ice blue eyes to the sky above. "Is this your answer!? Am i not worth you time!? Not worthy enough to talk to you pompous dead has-beens!?" The black cat's shoulders shook and she lashed her tail back and forth. She turned her dangerous glare to the Moonpool. With unsheathed claws she struck its cool waters, sending a small wave of it to the shore.

"Ebbs?!" Willowkit wailed louder. She ran faster, panting loudly, until she reached the pathway up to the Moonpool. She tried to stop, sliding her paws out, but her speed let the rocks she was on slide forward and she crashed into the rock wall. As she was getting up, her paws slipped into a hole. When she looked at the 'hole,' she realized that it was a pawprint. A pawprint?! She thought to herself. Then she saw the trail of pawprints leading up. So she climbed up the trail, her paws sliding into each and every soft print. When she finally got to the top, after a while (for she was quite tired now), she slipped through a bush and looked upon what had to be the Moonpool. The surface shone even in the dying sunlight and it rippled slightly. "Ebbs?! StarClan?" She just stood at the top, her energy finally leaving her as she sank to the floor.

Ebbs whirled around at the voice. Her eyes were wide and dangerous. HEr fur bristled as if there was no one she trusted now. Starclan had abondoned her despite how much faith she had had in them. It all shattered in to a thousand pieces. The large menacing black she cat stalked forward until she acctually spotted young Willowkit. She had collasped to the floor, obviously exhausted from her trek here. "Why did you follow me," she hissed darkly. A calm over took her expression making the air around her even more dangerous, as if she could control this horrid emotion and use it to whatever means she wanted.

"I...I..." Willowkit had been prepared to tell Ebbs everything, had the black cat been calm. But her being angry? Willowkit thought that all medicine cats were calm, and this went right against what she knew. She didn't have the strength to explain everything, so she said, "Lily. She...seemed like she was going to wake up....and...I...you told me to come get you." The silver kit whimpered, afraid that Ebbs would strike her, or something to that effect.

Ebbs narrowed her eyes to slits and snorted. "At least someone in Thunderclan listens." The black she cat watched the she cat almost cower away from her. "I am not goig to hit you. You arent the one that i am mad with." With that she moved around the tiny tabby and hissed, "What i told you before... our basic tool... Its a lie. Our faith in our warriors ancestors is wasted on a bunch of cats that have been dead for countless seasons. How can they protect and guide us?" Ebbs growled to herself, "They cant. Perhaps that is why he left. He asked for an answer but he recieved nothing in return. He must have left to try and find the answer himself." Ebbs trotted to the rock cliff and clumsily climbed down. "Find your own way back down Willowkit. It seems that there is no one in the world that will really care about you when the test of friendhsip calls. Get to know this quickly, otherwise you will end up with a broekn heart." She called back, not caring if the small cat had heard her.

OOC; Wow... Ebbs is a little crazy in the head XD

Ooc: Dear me, she is xD

Ic: Willowkit did nothing. She just stared at Ebbs as the black she-cat almost slid down the trail. "I...you...he? Where are you going Ebbs?!" Was the first question that came to her mind. That one question flew through her mind with so many trailing after it. StarClan...could not be believed in? How could that be? StarClan...was endlessly wise. And so Willowkit wailed. Maybe Pinekit and Thornkit were right. Who was she to want to be a medicine cat? Couldn't she have just wanted to be a warrior?

Duskstar's eyes snapped open. "Ebbs," She hissed and leaped up. "Hymmwhisper, guard the camp!" She called, and leaped down the rock fall. "I'll return soon! Take care of the clan!" She slid through the thorn tunnel with an ease of moons of practice and raced through the forest. There it was. Ebbs' scent. And...Willowkit's?! Did Willowkit go with Ebbs? Or after the she-cat? That didn't matter. Duskstar shook the thoughts away and leaped through the trees, Darkstar's warning floating in her mind.

Ebbs had crossed the border in to Windclan some time ago and now made her way easily through its long grasses. If Starclan didnt want to answer her that was fine. She had put so much effort as a medicine cat and a leader in to them that with their refusal to answer her things just seemed so quiet. There was no meaning in teh code now. What was the point? If the ones you were told to trust in didnt answer you in your most desperate times, how could you ever rely on them. There was no meaning in it anymore and Ebbs was tired of fighting for that lost cause. The only thing now that was on her mind was to find Eaglesight. There must have been a reason to his dissaperance. There must have been some sort of secret he uncovered or truth he had found that made him want to just abondon the fight. Ebbs was going to find that secret and finally have the quiet calm return to her life. Things were simple once but now it was just to comlicated. Ebbs burst in to a sprint across teh moorland and headed for the border of Windclan that didnt have a clan. She would begin there.

Duskstar broke through to the border stream and gasped. "Ebbs...no..." She took a deep breath, hoped with all her might that what she was doing was right, and leaped across the stream. She pelted across the moorland toward the tiny black dot that she saw, praying that it was Ebbs, and praying that it was not. She stretched her legs to their full extent, knowing that if Ebbs wanted to, she could easily outrun the tabby leader. Duskstar did not think about that however, and instead put her mind and her energy into the chase. StarClan, let me just get to her! For some reason, the prayer seemed to echo back to her, empty of any answer. Don't leave me now StarClan! Darkstar, where are you?! This conversation with nothing was carried out by a side section of her mind, one that was not making sure that her legs were pumping. "EBBS!" She cried out, getting closer by painful tiny increments.

Ebbs heard the voice of Duskstar clearly across the moors. The open air allow for it to ring out unhindered. She hesitated by reflex making her stumble. The speed she was going at was unforgiving and made her completely crash in to the ground. She bounced across the floor and was sent spinning against the ground ground until she made a full stop. Her body felt the pain of the fall roar through her. Ebbs stood and ignored it. Her eyes still carried the dangerous calm that she had talked to Willowkit with. The black she cat turned her attention to the small brown splotch in the distance. Her mouth pulled in to a dark smirk, "Well little Thunderclan leader, lets see if you can catch me! If you can I will certainly stop and listen to you!" The loner's voice rang out across the large territory with her usual deep and slightly raspy tone.

Duskstar was shaken to her core when she heard Ebbs' unforgiving tone. What is wrong with you? Ebbs, my dear friend, come to your senses! She wailed in her mind, somehow speeding up. "StarClan, lend me wings!" she called, not loud enough for Ebbs to hear, but loud enough for StarClan to hear. And yet, she only seemed to speed up by her own will, and her own draining of energy. The black spec that was Ebbs was quickly growing larger, and Duskstar would not let her legs falter.
