Isiah, known to all his friends as Izzy, trotted in to the school gates with his head held high. His proud light brown eyes gave off an almost amber glow, as they always did. His faded blue jeans jacket fit his form rather loosley. The boy stuck one hand in his pocket and the other held the strap of his backpack that was drapped over one shoulder. The other strape hung limply at his back. His ear length dark brown hair fluttered just a bit as the wind hit it. With a smile, Isiah breathed in the morning. It felt good to be up so early. With a skip in his step he hurried on to the main campus in search of anyone to talk to. It was usually his custom to great anyone and everyone he met in the hall. Some people looked at him strangely, as if he was trying to mock them. Yet one glance at his warm smile and you could tell he was in earnest. He met one young girl in the hall the appeared to be a freshmen. She had dropped her bag and was trying to pick up all that had spilled out. He grinned and bent down to help her. He picked up his share of the spilled belongings and handed them to her. "Here you go," his voice was a bit husky and deep for his age but not bad to listen to. The girl flushed and nodded her thanks. She scurried away leaving Isiah to chuckle a bit in spite of himself. Everyone he helped either surried away or gave him the evil eye. Either way he felt that a bit of kindness would do the world a bit of good.
Brooke skated towards school. She stoped and picked her skate board up. She kept her bangs as she walked towards her locker. When she opened the door, she ran into a guy with dark brown hair. She murmered, " Sorry. " and moved on to her locker. She then unlocked her locker and stuffed her skateboard into her looker. Her stormy eyes looked around.

Isiah brushed off the front of his white sirt where he had been run in to but the girl just a moment before. He chuckled a bit as she hurried by him. It was obviously not out of embarrassment. She has her mind elsewhere and seemed to just the right person to help out this morning. With a bright smile he trotted over and chuckled, "Well hello there. I couldnt help but notice that you seem a bit troubled. You ran in to me a moment ago and i just wanted to know if there is anything i can do to help." He grinned a bit hoping she would see him as being kind rather than trying to mock her.
Brooke slowly, turned around. Her stormy eyes went up to his face and said, " Aren't we a bit friendly. " she turned back to her locker and stared at it for a few minutes. Well, nice to meet you too. I'm Brooke. But, I think I'm fine, for right now. " She looked at him and tried to smile. But, it didn't work out, so great.
