Ash screamed again as they did a corkscrew." Yeah, this is fun. " She breath. She looked at the dragon. She felt a red liquid seep out of her hands, " Sorry, Telec, my blood is going on your scales. " Then she felt an urge to go faster. But then she saw they were stopped. But the blood turn firey red. It turned into a small flame, her eyes went wide. She blew the flame out and looked away.

Richard had been running for a while now. His mouth felt very dry but he had not managed to find the source of the movement he had seen. The boy rubbed his hand over his nearly sightless right eye and gasped for a bit of breath. He had managed to get on to the snow now though. His breaths were coming out in white puffs as he hurriedly gasped in much needed air. When he went to yell out for help again, his throat felt scratchy and refused to be louder than a hoarce yell. THe cold had not affected him until that moment. As he had been running he had worked up a nice sweat but standing still now wasnt helping. The cold winds that came in off the snow whipped and teased his face. Richard shivered and stepped forward again. His legs ached and his head spun as he drew in more breathes. Breathing so heavily wasnt helping but he couldnt help it. The boy trudged on for a bit before his right leg gave out and he collapsed to the floor. The snow he had fallen in wasnt soft like a blanket, yet it had given a bit under his weight like a cushion. Richard curled up in to a ball, hoping to keep warm. His throat cried out for water but the boy was to focused on keeping warm to realize that snow was just another form of water. Still even if he had managed to think of that, it would have still been frozen and would have cooled him even further rather than quenching his thirst.
George wasn't exactly scared. He was never scared. But this was the closest he'd ever felt to fear his whole life. The land was beautiful, justas the book had described, but he knew he wasn't the only animal in this forest. The book had described that, too. He looked to where the sun was setting, and calculated north. He didn't know why, but North was always the way he traveled when he didn't know where to go.
Farther and farther he walked, and the corner of sky away from the sun faded to a pink. He knew he'd have to get out of Rosewood before sunset. There was no telling how the forest changed at night-- he'd never read farther.
George got to a spot where there were no trees overhead, but it wasn't exactly a clearing. He didn't inspect much though, because he heard screams from overhead. His neck snapped up instinctively, and he saw a large silver creature with wings soar across the sky and land nearby. Was that a... Dragon? He gazed that way in confusion, heading to it. His feet seemed to lead him there of their own accord.

"What's wrong Ashes?" he turned his head. "I suggjest next time we should bring leacher gloves." He sighed then saw a small clearing. "Let's land there and accually figure out where we are going." Telec said soaring to the ground. He hovered for a second before the touchdown. "Okay let's first tend our bleeding hands then let's figure out where to head next." He said then sat down.

IC: Below, in the very snowy clearing, the boy collapsed, much to Gideon's surprise. Either he was extremely weak, the cold had gotten to him, or something else was at play. Whatever the case, he knew that it was only a matter of time before the boy permanently shut down, so he quickened his climb, and within a short amount of time, he was running over to the boy. He sighed in relief when he saw that he wasn't completely unconscious. He seemed to be breathing something about water, barely audible through the wind. Gideon looked around, trying to figure out what to do. It'd sure help if this stupid storm would stop! he thought angrily. Immediately, it halted, much to his surprise. Taking advantage of this, he scooped up some snow nearby, using a sort of cup-shaped flower, and poured it into the other person's mouth.
Richard sputtered at the cold liquid being put in to his dry throat. The chill that followed made his eyes snap open. He quickly sat up on his own and glanced around him in a dazed manner. WHen he had calmed for a moment he glanced up at the boy that had saved him. Light gray eyes met with dark eyes for a brief moment. Richard looked away and mumbled thanks. So there had been a person in in this direction. After a moment he began to talk, "Thank you... I have running for a while and havent found a bit of water since i started out here." He chuckled warm heartedly for a moment. Richard extended a hand, "Name's Richard. You can call me Ricky if you want." The golden haired boy stared up at the dark haired boy with his good eye, hoping to get a better view of him.
IC:"Gideon," Gideon replied quietly, shaking Richard's hand. "Don't worry about it - only a heartless monster would let someone else die." He stood back up, brushing off his clothes. It was still rather cold, even though the storm had stopped, and he could see that the sky was darkening. Without a word, he started gathering up snow, forming plans for a shelter in his mind. He didn't invite Richard to help, though he didn't care either way. "So, what's your story?" he asked. "I'm from Chicago, and if I do say so myself, I'm rather wealthy - unfortunately. It's gotten me quite a few negative comments from others."
Ash slid down from his back and looked down at her hands. They were still bleeding. She saw a stream close and walked to it. When she got there, she stuck her hands in the water. The water made her hands feel better. When they were clean she grabbed some long grass and bound it on her hand. She then walked back to the littile group. Ash smiled at Telec, " Ashes? Is that my nickname? "

"Yes, it's a good nickname for when i burn you." He said then lifted his head in the air blowing blue fire out of his mouth. "I can use this time to col down. I'm tired." He said putting his large scaley fave on his ebony black claws. He retured back to human state. He seemed more friendlier asleep than away. He mumbled something about a bookstore and Rosewood. Soon he mumbled something about his parents, then he started crying.

Richard sat for a moment, watching what Gideon did. After he got the gist of it he began to help with slightly shaking hands. "Chicago eh? Never been there myself," he chuckled. "Also never been rich either." Richard smiled softly and turned back to look at what his hands were doing. "I'm from California. More or less from the area that doesnt have snow... not to say that California has a lot of snow anyway." He laughed a bit and continued on, "Im just your average Joe really... Nothing special. Not rich, just there i suppose." Richard shrugged his shoulders softly and continued with the shelter.
