Appearance: A girl about 5'5'', which is short to her, with shoulder length black wavy hair that is always tied up into a messy ponytail with her bangs around her face. She has very pale skin and hazel eyes that seems to stare right through you.
Personality: She is kind and understanding, always willing to help those in need and listening to other people's problems. She always puts others before himself, and her loyalty never wavers, even in the darkest situations.
History: She was always the sly mastermind behind mysterious pranks in school despite her kind parents.
Powers: Element
Secrets: She is really afraid of creepy crawlies. Even though, she doesn't act like it she is.

Character Name: Telec Herestcrest
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: A very tall young man with grey eyes and raven black hair. e puts it up in a short pony tail(it's sort of long for a guy). He has a scar that comes from his right eye, all the way down to his jaw. He mostly wears glasses but does not wear them while fighting, that would be stupid in his opinion.
Brief History: He had worked part time as a library helper who one day peeked at a new shipment and found the book.
Personality: Dark and off in the corner, very slick tounge when it comes to people he thinks are morons.
Powers: Shape-Shifter
Secrets: Very secretive about himself and his scar: His parents beat him as a child.

Character Name: Aera Chandler Markman
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Five foot girl with pale-ish skin and a small amount of dainty, hard-to-see freckles spotting her cheeks and nose. Her nose is small and delicate, and her eyes are pale, pale blue, almost gray. Her dark brown hair is very long and curly. She enjoys wearing little white dresses and cutesy outfits.
Brief History: Aera has never met her biological parents, being adopted as an infant. Her new mother always tells her how her mother loved her very much and how much it pained her to give her away, but there was some sort of "catch" that didn't allow Aera to be kept. She never explained what the "catch" was, and Aera didn't believe this excuse. She assumed her mother just didn't want her. Her goal in life is to find her parents.
Personality: Aera is sort of quiet, reserved and contained and loves to imagine things. She is very used to being disappointed and often tries to keep up a positive attitude despite this. She doesn't really like attention and makes an effort to recieve as less as possible. Still, she will use her power to defend her team the most she can even if it gets her a lot of it. She loves to read and does it most of the day.
Powers: Premonition
Secrets: Aera has mysteriously had a few boyfriends which is odd considering how reserved she is, and she has done some things she is not quite proud of. She is very ashamed of what she has done in the past and it would take a lot of coaxing for her to do it again.

Character Name: Gideon Highland
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: Standing at five feet, eight inches (5'8"), Gideon wears relatively fancy clothes - dark blue jeans, a white button-up shirt and a black blazer over that, as well as black sneakers. He has wavy, almost shoulder length dark brown hair and gray-blue eyes.
Brief History: A citizen of the U.S. who lived a fairly normal life with his parents, he discovered his book in his attic, and has since been teleported here. Before then, though, rumors had been spread about him at school and how he apparently got involved with some.. Well, not very law-abiding crowds, to put it simply.
Personality: Fairly quiet and reserved, much like his element, though he has been known to speak his opinion in the bluntest way possible. He can be cold at times, though he does care about stuff... if they prove even a tiny bit useful to him, though that's rare. He is known to analyze a situation completely before acting, and usually looks and expects negative results from everything that happens, a mindset adopted due to constantly being let down by those around him. He also has an odd passion for the band Keane...
Powers: Ice Elemental powers.
Secrets: As mentioned earlier, he was apparently involved with several crimes of some sort, the details and authenticity of the rumors never being discussed by him to anyone, not even his best friends or parents.

Character Name: Mikaela Banes
Age: 17
Gender: Female 
Appearance: A girl with tan skin and turqoise eyes. She's tall, at the height of 5'11" [5 feet 11 inches] She has glossy red lips and a really pretty smile showing white teeth. Her hair is completely black and sorta wavy curving out at the ends. Her eyebrows are pretty bushy, though she makes it look really pretty. In other words, Mikaela is 'hot'.
Brief History: Mikaela is one of those girls who everyone wants to date. She's really pretty. Mikaela doesn't have an interest in any boys except for one, who she's dating. She is a pretty good girl, not getting into crimes and stuff but she got in trouble quite a lot in school.
Personality: She's sassy and always wants her way. She's gets really sweet once you get to know her, and soon after, you'll like her. She really sticks to her boyfriend, though, even if she says she wants to break up with him. The rest, I'll make it up as I go..
Powers: mind reader
Secrets: Mikaela's parents work at a motercycle shop, giving them enough money to survive. She always buys pretty clothes to wear (like stuff to make you look hot XD) so she looks like she's rich, but she really isn't.

Character Name: Julie Maya
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Appearance: Julie is rather short... actually, she is short, standing at a small 5'0''. Her dark-red (litterally red) hair is in a bob cut. She has almost golden eyes with flecks of brown in them -- her whole family does. Her skin is not tan, yet not pale.
Brief History: At a young age, Julie's parents had left for an expedition to the Mayan ruins, and never returned, leaving Julie in the care of her aunt and Uncle. They never explained why they never returned, but after that, Julie was brought up speaking French, so once she learned English again, she had a very thick accent, which she still has today.
Personality: Because she learned English, doesn't mean it is perfected. Her English is still broken, so she prefers to speak in French, or not speak at all. She does have a very bright personality, though it doesn't come out because of her broken English.
Powers: Psychokinesis
Secrets: Something about her family has changed their eye color and only gives it to the children of pure Maya blood... (There's a Maya family, and an Inca family. The Inca has the Gold, the Maya have the Brown. But if there's a purely Maya blood child they have both eye colors. Same for the Inca.)

Character Name: George Cooper
Age: 17 
Gender: Male
Appearance: George is tall at 5'9", with freckles and red hair. His skin is not very pale, but definately not tan. His eyes are green with flecks of goldthat glow in the sunlight. His hair it cut short like most boys, and is darker and lighter in some spots.
Brief History: George never met his parents, and lived with his crazy aunt until he was ten. He ran away from her, finding a home on the streets. He became a pickpocket so that he could eat, and taught himself how to fight if he was ever going to get stolen from. He has an interest in books, because they bring him away from the world he's in. He knows troubles more than anyone else.

George Cooper took his name from a book he read when he was about 14 from a theif. He admired him, because George was the King of Thieves in his own world, too.
Personality: George is a secretive guy who likes to mess with people. He has a broad sense of humor, but rarely allows himself to laugh. He smiles crookedly instead. He's grown acustomed to the nicknames he's gotten, so answers best to 'King' or 'Prince'. He's a bad guy with a big heart, and though he's friendly, he doesn't place his trust lightly.
Powers: Ability Reflection
Secrets: Lived on the streets, took his name from a book, never met his parents.

Character Name: Richard Laraby
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: Richard is a boy that is about 5" 7' and is rather avarage shaped. He doesnt have muscle tone because his body isn't the type for it. He has short slightly wavy dirty golden hair. His eyes are a dark brown almost black color that make the pupils barely stand out against them. His face is pleasant but nothing to special about it.
Brief History: Richard was born in to an avarage family and id avarage things. Yet his mind always went up and beyond the avarage. He longed for adventure and would pretned to be a pirate as often as he could.
Personality: Richard is the sweet and caring type, more or less like a big teddy bear. He is the kind of person that is more like a big brother than a fighter. He hates confrontation and would rather passivily let others get their way before speaking out for himself.
Powers: Healing Touch
Secrets: Richard can barely see out of his right eye and it has caused many problems for him and he would rathern have it that nobody finds out.
