Moon-set came and passed, Willowsong didn't notice, and when dawn finally breached the tips of the dark night, she broke out of her reverie. The sky was a light gray when she went to wake up Fireclaw, and it was turning pink as she called for the others to get up too. "Guys! It's morning!" She had kept a watch for the whole night, but it felt to her as if she'd slept. That didn't always happen, sometimes she'd be as tired as heck, but it did that night. Was it because she was near a clanmate, and she was at peace? It didn't matter. It was time to get the day started, decide what they were going to do, head out.

"Everyone dies eventually. Once you are born, you begin to die."
"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
Ghostfur opened his eyes. "Morning already?" he asked Willowsong. The sunshine barely shined down onto the grown, just barely heating it up. He sighed. "Oh come ON Willowsong; it's just dawn!" The silver tom groaned but got up, the sleep was out of him now. "I would love some peacfull sleep, though," Ghostfur added. The dream last night was a horror, the ShadowClan warrior wanted to forget it.
Willowsong raised an eyebrow at the ShadowClan warrior. "I haven't slept at all, mind you. Anyway, let's get everyone else awake." She turned to Fireclaw, who was still sleeping. "Fireclaw, it's morning. Wake up." She looked at the rest of the cats, who had roughly grouped together by clan. It wasn't that surprising, after all, they had just been kicked out two nights before. But maybe soon it would be different.

Ghostfur grinned a crooked grin. "Yeah, well that's because you wanted to keep watch!" He spoted Lunardream asleep, then prodded her with his claw. "Wake up sleepy head, it's morning!" He smiled, then left her. "Willowsong, don't you think we should hunt? I mean.." he sighed. "I suppose only ShadowClan eats snakes and frogs and lizards.."
Graystreak yawned and opened his eyes to see the sun was coming up. Looking around he sighed and stood up shaking his pelt. Looking at the other cats he saw only Willowsong and Ghostfur were awake. Hearing the word frog he licked his lips and walked over to the two cats. Even though he hadnt said much to etheir of them he wanted to hunt and if more cats went they could bring back more prey. "Can I come?"
"You two go for it. I'll take another patrol as soon as some of the other cats wake up. I'm sure I could find a fish or two somewhere." She looked around, wondering if maybe she should hunt for mice and squirrels instead. She shrugged and waited for the makeshift camp to begin shaking off its grogginess.

Graystreak nodded awkwardly and looked at Ghostfur. He wasnt use to being told something by another deputy from another clan. Turning around he looked to the ground and walked off up the cliff and and waited for Ghostfur. Wondering if the tom would come too he sat down and looked at the silver cat.
Fireclaw rolled over and opened his amber eyes slowly. The soft rays of the morning sun greated him as he yawned. After a moment of rembrance he hopped up with a bit of a betrayed look on his face. "Hey!" he called out to Willowsong, sounding slightly like an apprentice, "You were supposed to wake me up so i could keep watch and you get rest." His childish honest eyes glowed with a bit of hurt behind them. He had an indignant frown on his face as he kept his eyes on the silver she cat.
