Ash picked up her phone and saw it was Shia, " Yes, and he's a keeper, I'm gonna name him Bolt, after the movie Bolt. " She smiled and then said, " He's cute. Reminds me of my old dog, Jerry. Anyways, I'll text you later, have to go get somethings for him. " She picked Bolt up and the puppy barked into the phone, laughing as she said, " Anyways, have fun at them job, I might bring him around to see you. '' Then she saw Kayden waving at her, " Gotta go, bye. " She hung up and walked over to Kayden, " This is Bolt. " She set the puppy down and it began to sniff him.

ic; Kayden laughed as Bolt sniffed his shoes. "Aww, he's so cute!" he exclaimed. He crouched down and started scratching the dog behind the ears. "You're so adorable, yes you are!" Kayden cooed in a high voice. He paused and glanced up at Ashley, his face slightly red. "Haha...I love animals," Kayden said, laughing, as an excuse for his embarrassing falsetto.
" Come on, you don't have to lie to me. " She laughed, " Anyways, I love him. He's a keeper. " She picked up the puppy. Ash laughed, " He likes you. " She looked over at him and said, " Do you want to go get something to eat at the dinner? I'm really hungry and that's the only place that you can have dogs to sit down and eat. " She felt all her blood going to her face.

Kayden's eyes narrowed slightly as he tried to see into Ashley's mind. He raised one eyebrow and glanced at her, a small smile pulling at the corners of his lips. "Sure, let's go," he agreed. His eyes sparkled as he suddenly took Bolt from Ashley's arms. Kayden skipped wildly down the sidewalk, attracting stares from every pedestrian as he sang loudly (but on pitch), "We're off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz!" About halfway down the sidewalk he turned back to face Ashley, petted Bolt's head, and crooned loudly, "Oh, Toto, I want to get back to Kansas!"
Ashely giggled, she raced over and grabbed the pup, " I'll get you my preety! If it's the last thing I do. '' She raced towards the dinner with the pup in her arms. She stoped and folded her scooter into her backpack. Ash set the pup down. She turned to look at Kayden. She smiled at him and then said, " Well, come on! "

Kayden laughed crazily and ran after Ashley. As they reached the diner, he rushed to the door and held it open for her. "Madam, your table awaits," he said in a British accent, performing a low, sweeping bow. His blonde hair fell into his eyes; he straightened and tried to blow it out of his face; but it just fell back. "Man, someday, I'm gonna chop off this mop," he said, shaking his head like a dog trying to rid its fur of water.
" You don't look so bad, to me. " Ashely curtsied, " Thank you, deary. " She said in a British accent. The watress said, " What a cute puppy! Table for two? " Ash nodded and the watress took them to a booth and sat Ash sat down. She handed the two of them menus and then she left. Ash picked the pup up and put it on a seat. After a few minutes a person brought out a doggy bowl full of food. The puppy yelped happily and jumped down.

George had been out all night, and was exausted. He'd gotten into three wallets, A gold bracelet, and a diamond ring. He needed to stop by Reed to sell the bracelet and ring, but he looked through the wallets quickly. Past IDs and Credit cards in the first one, were three twentys and four ones. He took them out and layed them on the table, looking through his pockets for the money he'd gotten from the other ones. George was very good at slight-of-hand, so he tried to return wallets after taking the money. Sometimes I'm not so lucky He thought with a frown at the wallet. It had IDs and credit cards that were most likely caneled by now. As a rule, he didn't touch those either. He didn't want to be an identity thief, just get the pocket change. It wasn't his fault if people descided to carry more credit cards than change.
Getting his winnings, he tucked them in his inside pocket to the right of his chest. It was close to fall, and he didn't need to wear a jacket, but he wore a relatively long overcoat. not one of those creepy-stalker ones, because George had something against those.
"Reed." George walked into a sports store with a big crooked grin and opening his coat in greeting. Reed looked up from behind the counter, glancing around to make sure he had no customers. "I told you buddy, I check through the windows every time. It's not like I'm oblivious to the way you don't want your customers to see the worst of them." Reed nodded solumnly. The thing was, owning a sports shop in a city only got you enough money to pay the bills. He needed money for groceries and his family. George gave Reed the jewelry he got for any price that Reed asked.
"What do you have today?" he asked in a scratchy voice. There was more silver in the man's hair then black, and his green eyes shone through his wrinkles with happiness at all situations. George handed him the god bracelet and diamond ring. "Ahh, beautiful and fine." He looked closely at the both of them. "I'll give you five hundred for the bracelet." He put it down, picking up the ring and inspecting it closely. "And this... This looks like a present for an old lady, witht he huge gem." They both laughed. "Seven hundred for this one." He put them both on the counter, going to get money. After the exchange, Reed slipped a hundred dollars back into Reed's pocket. He always did it, and Reed used to complain when he knew. That was why George had practiced so much.
Back home, George rolled up the seven hundred, putting it in a box and under a floorboard. He went to the fridge, looking at the poor excuse of food. He descided he'd go to the grocery store.
Once out of the house, his grumbling stomach told him he should eat first. Headign to the nearest resturaunt, he was delighted to see Ashley and Kayden. "Kay! Ash! Mind if I join you? My treat." He smiled broadly. He hadn't had a meal with just them in forever. he always ate by himself, with the Own, or at the apartment with everybody.

"Hey, man!" Kayden cried, standing up as George came to their table. He high-fived him, then motioned toward his own chair. "Sit," Kayden ordered with a smile. He motioned to the nearest waitress and asked, "Can we get another chair here, please?" The young waitress blushed. "Sure," she said, and winked flirtatiously at him before she turned away. Kayden rolled his eyes as he turned back to his friends.
