Casting followed holly with a smile on her face. She could already smell and taste the fresh prey. She licked her lips and chased after holly. She saw some small prey around and wondered if there were any bigger ones hiding around here. Maybe a giant penguin!

Holly looked back at Meppi she smiled and turned back to see where she was running. She ran torwards a hare as it started to bound away. She lept at it but slipped and tumbled into a snow bank. She got back up on her paws again quickly she wasen't going to give up that easily. She looked over at the hare who was a short distance away she shook the snow off of her pelt and pelted after it again.

Casting moon stopped running and smelled the air. She caught a scent. It smelled tinder and fresh. She looked behind her and watched the two hunt not to far away. She turned "Ill be right back guys! Dont follow!" She barked and began to run, following the scent. She stopped at a small cliff and her eyes widened. "Wow...." She whispered. It was beautiful. It was all smooth ice. The sun reflected off of it making it shinny. She looked behind her and saw no one. "How far did i go?" She giggled a bit than turned. She found a path down and walked down. She reached the bottom and smiled. She walked farther on the ice. She turned and the cliff was getting father away. "Shouldn't go to far." She said. She felt vibrating under her and her ears pressed up. She looked down at the ice. She felt it again only it was stronger. She watched the ice carefully than suddenly heard a crash behind her and ice flew in the air. She slipped on the ground and turned her head. It was i giant walrus that broke part of the ice. It fell beside her and the ice broke again. This time, sending her in the water with the walrus. Casting opened her eyes and began to swim up. She looked down and saw the walrus swimming up to her. Its two front teeth were huge! Casting tried to swim up faster. She reached the top and jumped and the ice that hadn't broken. She heard a huge crash again and turned to see the walrus there again. It began to fall again, but this time one of its huge teeth peirced through her back. Casting yowled in pain and the ice again. She opened her eyes again but couldnt swim up, because this time she was stuck hawlf way on the walrus' tooth. Blood poured out of her back. She looked at the walrus and than down. She closed her eyes. She couldn't get air.

Patch ran through the forest. The cool wind ripped at his fur. He loved hunting early. He also loved the pack. He sniffed and caught the scent of rabbit. He was happy that the pack had taken him in. He had been on his own for a long time and he liked being with others. He liked the feeling that others liked him and relied on him.

Casting moon opened her eyes a bit. She had hoped she had been dreaming, but the pain was to real. She was still in the water and the huge walrus' tooth was still peirced through her back. She needed to catch air, now. She looked up and saw the sun but could swim. She was still stuck on the walrus' tooth, and she didn't the the walrus would let her free anytime soon.
