Ebonycloud stopped in her tracks but only for a brief moment to talk to the Shadowclan apprentice. "Yes?" she asked, bher voice was low and a bit hurt from what she had discovered this night. The deputy didnt manage to hide it well. She had always been a cat that got swept up in to her emotions. It happened with Brokenstar before. Her ice blue eyes transfixed on Onyxpaw. As soon as the she cat spoke her peace, Ebonycloud would depart to defend Windclan's borders.

As Shatterstep sat in the crowd listening to the chaos she stood up and looked at Duskstar. "Duskstar I also played my part in the original battle although I fought against Brokenstar I have come to see the reason to his madness. The only thing I got from the battle was a lame leg." The sleek black she cat mewed moving to Duskstar's side. "We all want the same things for our clans to survive and if we work together we can acheive them. I Shatterstep will stand by you" for the last sentence she spoke to the cats infront of her.

Lilyspirit looked on in horror. ThunderClan had so many cats in it! Looking again, she saw more cats than usual. Had Duskstar invited the old fighters to come? In the back of her mind, there was a sense of Deja vu. She had been through this before. Not now, she didn't know the battle's outcome, but there had been a battle before. It might just be the story she thought to herself, But I've been here before, with these feelings.

Lilyspirit was appauled at first Duskstar's betrayal, then the way that the cats spoke out, hopping right up onto the Great Rock to talk to the leaders! Nobody had that right, but the deputys! Had the clans gone mad? Tradition mean nothing?

Firestar stared at Duskstar. He waited for the dusky brown tabby to say more nonsense. He wasn't usally a cat who complained, but this was something that he should go against. He looked over at where ebonycloud was. His deputy didn't like this at all. He could tell. Not much cats seemed to like it. He looked at duskstar again and stood up. Was the leader just joking? Perhaps. Or perhaps this was all serious. The she-cat was speaking truth. He looked at all the cats of the four clans. He didn't dare speak any words that would end up causing some to fight or argue.

IC: "What I find rather amusing," came a strong, soft voice from a tree overlooking the scene. "Is the fact that she who has apparently done wrong is not the one threatening to harm anyone, but instead, trying to defend her Clan from unneeded harm from the other, so called 'good' Clans..."
The speaker stepped out from his hiding place, revealing his gun-metal gray and white fur, his green eyes scanning the clearing. A few ThunderClan cats recognized him, for he was a loner that lived near their territory. He was Wolf.
"Rest assured, I will not take a side in this conflict unless I'm given a good enough reason to do so," he said, turning to leave. "But perhaps it's something to consider... Brokenstar was defied because he attacked without reason; yet now the tables have turned, and it is the apparent defenders doing the threatening... I thought Clans were more noble than that..."

Onyxpaw sighed and said, " It seems that some of my clanmates are deciding to join sides with Duskstar. I really don't think that I should stay in my clan. You and I are the only ones against this" She paused, " Your clan and Riverclan seem to be the only clan that isn't going to join sides with her. If it isn't any trouble could I stay with your clan? " She felt foolish. But it was a question that she needed to ask.

Firestar looked at onyxpaw and ebonycloud. Stay with windclan? Firestar jumped down from the rock and walked over to the two. He ignored the chattering and other cats around him. Sitting down next to onyxpaw, he looked at the she-cat. "Anyone is welcome in our clan. Especially at a time like this." He said soothingly. He looked at ebonycloud. "What do you think?" He asked the deputy.
