Shrugging loosely, the she-cat replied, "I'm good, as for now." Her smile was as calm as she could manage as she listened to the empty wind whistle through her fur. Eyes slanting, Starstrukk wondered aloud in one breath, allowing her to be quiet, "I wonder who Wolf shall fight for... or Souki. This is nerve-racking." Both were not her friends, but not her enemies. She knew that Wolf would (probably) not fight at all. Loners, of course, were not known to come and fight in the Clan's battles. But the news spread fast. Everyone wanted to be in the battle that, "was to be history," as an older rogue had said.

Ebonycloud stopped on the Riverclan border. Her ice blue eyes glanced across the sight of Moonstar's territory. A frown crossed her face at the thought of Riverclan being so close to Thunderclan. Perhaps they could use a little help and reassurance of Windclan's alignment. The black deputy turned over her shoulder and meowed to Firestar, "Listen, im going to go check in with Moonstar. I know she is on our side... well... she is against Duskstar's reformation ideas. I need to see if she is willing to fight on our side against this madness." With that she nodded and crossed the border on to Riverclan's territory. "I will be back in a little while. Please lead Starstrukk and Onyxpaw back to camp!" she called back.
Onyxpaw gave a smile at Ebonycloud, " Me too. But, anyways thanks Ebony. I really appreciate it. But I wanta to know something, why does Duskstar declare everything right now? " She looked over at the three cats. She was very confused, " I really haven't heard the real story of the Broken Battle. I heard about it a littile but not that much. " She looked down at her paws, but then she head Ebonycloud leave and she said, " I can wait. "

Firestar watched as the deputy left to talk to moonstar. He gave a nod and turned. He looked at the two she-cats. "Alright, come'n. Let's head back." He said. The dark ginger leader trotted ahead of them, his green eyes scanning the area. Ebonycloud was right. Moonstar was on their side. He knew that.

IC: Wyvernpaw walked briskly, not paying attention to where he was going, though he knew he was in WindClan territory. His conversation with Dragonstar had... enlightened him a bit. Duskstar hadn't declared war on the clans at all; instead, they had declared war on her. But why? What was the harm in forming one group, where everyone would be free from having to harm one another, even if it meant that an age old tradition would be left behind? It made absolutely no sense to him. Sure, he might be an apprentice; but he still knew the warrior code, he still knew the ways of StarClan - and he was beginning to question the point of them having to kill one another for food, when they could easily just share it... not to mention the fact that no one had made any convincing arguments as to why they should continue harming one another.
Sweetpaw nodded respectifully to her deptury, and hurried after Hawkshadow what ever she could do to help, she would. her fur flufed up in exitement, but also nervousness. her first battel was drewing near, and her clan needed her more then ever.

Dragonstar kept his eyes and ears open as he entered Windclan territory. He hadn't heard the sounds of fighting yet so he assumed the battle hadn't begun. But it was only a matter of time before blood stained the ground in every territory.
Hawkshadow loooked back to see the young apprentice Sweetpaw following her. She giggled a little bit. She remembered when she was this excited to help out with anything. She still looked young even though she had been in the Broken Battle which was many seasons ago. She smiled "You want to help me collect some herbs to prepare for the battle?" she asked the apprentice. "I'm short on Marigold" she meowed.
nodding enthusiasticly Sweetpaw hurried away trying to picture the yellow-gold petals of marigold, she rembered finging some when she was playing as a kit. she hadnt been going for long when the sent of strange cats crossed her path. stopping Sweetpaw lifted her head and sniffed the air again. confused, she followed the sent trail. it lead to a group of large cats talking in hushed tones. Sweetpaw nearly hissed, they were on Windclan Terratory! but she dare not disturb them, they were larger both in size and number. worried that if she ran off, they would hear her, she crouched low in the tall grass and tilted her ears to try and hera what they were saying.

Hawkshadow looked around for the young she cat but she had disapeared. She smelled the scent of Marigold close by. She followed the scent of the flower. She hissed as she saw strange cats collecting the flower. They were definently not any of the clan cats. She stepped forward "I think you may be lost" She mewed trying her hardest not to start a fight. The cats just luaghed at her "No we're not lost just taking what's rightfully ours" they stood up as tall as they could making her look small next to them. She was outnumbered by two but she would stand up for what was right. She hissed and her fur along her spine bristled. She spoke with an angry tone "Please leave this place or I'm going to have to fight you" the cat's just luaghed at her again and picked more Marigold. She let out an angry yowl signiling that she would need help. She leaped at the largest cat who she geussed was leading the patrol of cats. She tore at his tabby pelt until her white paws were covered in crimson red blood. She heared the Large tabby tom yowl in pain. She felt teeth sink into her scruff and she was pinned to the ground on her back. She saw The grey tom pinning her down and she felt his claws slicing down her underbelly. She screeched in pain and felt the tom's grip loosen a little bit so she wriggled free. She felt blood pour down her belly she clawed the white she cat's flank and heared her yowl in pain.
