IC: "Well, for no reason of my own, I assure you," Wyvernpaw responded, confused by the ShadowClan leader's sudden change in tone. "Mostly because both Ebonycloud and Firestar insist that we are at war, though I, personally, haven't seen anything that would indicate any such event. Why do you ask?"
"That is why everyone else fights. They fight because their leaders say that they must. But what are we fighting for? Who are fighting for? If Starclan sent a dream to Duskstar about uniting, then maybe we should unite. But why weren't the rest of us sent the same dream. Do you want us to kill each other?" he yowled to the sky. "Do you want us all to die? If you want us to unite, then send us all a sign. All of us!" Other Shadowclan cats stared at their leader in surprise as he shouted angrily at their ancestors.
"Alright...let's see if I can find their camp, or something of the like," Duskstar murmured to herself, padding along the marshy territory of the most prideful clan, ShadowClan. She had seen that Dragonstar seemed the most unsure, after all, Moonstar and Firestar had declared war on her. Hopefully she could find him without being shredded. Having seven lives comforted her, but they could easily be snatched away with the right attacks. So easily...

"Everyone dies eventually. Once you are born, you begin to die."
"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
IC: Wyvernpaw was slightly taken aback by this sudden proclamation, but he once again pulled himself together. "So, now that that's out of the way, can I get going?" he asked. "I think we're both in agreement here that the current situation is quite odd."

"Go ahead, I see no reason to keep you here any longer." As Wyvernpaw began to leave, Dragonstar heard some commotion behind him. Looking in that direction, he saw Duskstar entering the Shadowclan camp. More company? "Duskstar, what a surprise to see you here."
"Hm? Oh! Dragonstar!" She trotted quickly over to him. "I've been meaning to ask you something. You see, well, rather, talk with you. I want to ask about what you think of our clan, SunriseClan." The name had suddenly popped into her head. And it was a good name too. It signified a new beginning, a new dawn, and a new age. Why didn't I think of it sooner? "I noticed that you did not say much when you were at the Gathering."

"I wasn't sure what to say. Everyone seems to be ready for war," Dragonstar shook his head. "I won't fight unless it's absolutely necessary. Who's side I will fight on is still something that I haven't decided yet." Looking back up at Duskstar, Dragonstar realized she had called Brokenclan by a different name. "So you call yourselves Sunriseclan now." Duskstar nodded. "Smart idea, you really shouldn't use the name of an already existing clan."
Duskstar shrugged, "It had been the only name I could think of at the moment. It seemed that everyone I asked beforehand thought it was fitting, seeing as I was trying to break the other four clans. But, I was shown that different name would be better and took that up. Either way, it's relieving to hear that you won't fight against me, at least not yet." She let out a sigh that she hadn't realized she was holding. At least one clan wouldn't attack her without need. Maybe she could convince the other clans too.

Timbersong glanced at the talking cats. Duskstar was here. The silver tabby blushed. She felt embarressed to show herself in front of her formor leader. She missed ThunderClan. Timbersong excused her self from Lilyspirt. "I.. I'll be right back." She walked over to the dusky ThunderClan member. "Duskstar.." she said. "I'm sorry I had to leave ThunderClan.." She bowed her head. "I just didn't like it. What you're wanting to do. I plan to go back..." She looked away. "Sometime. But not now."
Duskstar looked at Timbersong, and a glaze seemed to come over her emerald eyes. "And if there is no more ThunderClan when you want to return? How shall you feel then? I hope you enjoy it now, because it may not be the same for a long time. If not ever. So if you're able to throw away your loyalties to ThunderClan, your birth Clan, then why can't you join SunriseClan? Are you really so delusional that you think all that killing is okay?" Duskstar's eyes cleared, and they seemed to pierce Timbersong.
