After the last of the carbonated drink had been drained away and the last bit of unfortunate ice consumed, Fortunata leaned back with another loud huff. Just where in the name of all things holy were the others? It was--according to another's watch--twelve fifteen, and no one had arrived. Pursing her lips, Lady Luck stood and set down what she owed plus a tip before moving to sit on one of the benches outside of the café, leaning against the brick wall, holding her bag loosely within her arms as she stared out onto the bay, her mind already racing with possibilities of what they could do once--if her companions arrived.

Alcatraz sounded like a very good idea at the moment--she absolutely adored boat travel--and perhaps that new museum that had opened recently, and maybe she could....
