Rosefur sighed as she padded back to camp with Bloodeyes at her side. She smilled to herself. When she entered camp it was bustling with movement. She was really tired and her body showed it. She had bags under her eyes and her muscles ached. She gentily presed against Bloodeyes for support. She entertwined her tail in his, and padded to go get something to eat.

ooc: kinda random I could not think of anything else to do Berrytail just came back from hunting she was tired she put the mouse she caught in the fresh kill pile then picked up a sparrow to eat. She sat down in the sun and ate her sparrow it was plump and one of the best sparrows Berrytail had ever tasted! She thanked Starclan for the gift of prey and the forest then she thanked Starclan for the warrior or apprentice her caught the prey for the clan.
Lilypaw yawned as she looked up into the sky. She was frightened of most things, and couldn't fight at all. Only a lttle bit though. Lilypaw looked over her shoulder to the apprentices den. She had just left there and was starring at the sky for a few minutes now. He turned her head to see ivoryclaw training his apprentice. She smiled. "I'm glad i don't get a mentor like that. He very nice but he trains too hard. And he needs to be well rested. I feel sorry for him." She said looking over to him. She sighed then looked down.

"Well if we don't kill him maybe there will be death and destruction and maybe this realm will be destroyed and the Cykarie Realm (otherwise know as the Sye Realm in the future) will have a waged war with a realm Blackfang named after himself." Ryujini said then paused. The three of them broke out laughing.
Ivoryclaw kept his tail dead still, and took the same position he had before. Fury built up in Amberpaw's gut, though she smiled a little at his tail. She kept hers low and still to center her balance, because she learned early on that that was her greatest problem. She charged at him again, not saying a word and trying to keep her breathing steady. This time she took him head on, grabbing the fur on his neck and throwing him to the side. He lost his balance, and Amberpaw felt like she was flying with glee. She'd done it!
Except that she'd judged her strength wrong and when she threw Ivoryclaw to the side, she'd sent herself flying in the opposite direction. She fell hard on her side, splitting her lip. Amberpaw got up quickly, chasing after him to finish the fight. She lashed out with her front paws, keeping her claws sheathed. As she swiped, things seemed to slow down, and she caught the fire in her moves reflected in his eyes. Where there was usually pain covered expertly with a thick layer of blank emotion, it seemed like all the emotions he was devoid of were exploding in a burst of colour.
She got distracted by the frightening beauty of it, leaving a big open spot that he couldn't miss.

Ivoryclaw had been a bit suprised at how strong the young she cat was but nearly laughed to himself seeing her fly the opposite direction when she had tossed him. Yet he still showed nothing. When the she cat came at him again she had hesitated and just like his mentor he wasnt going to let her get away with that mistake. He imediatly knocked her aside and pounced on her. His heavy front paws made pressed on her shoulder so she couldnt move. His back legs locked out against hers so should couldnt pummel his belly. He opened his jaws dangerously and posed for a final blow. Yet instead of actually going through with the threat he mewed deeply, "Youre dead. Just letting you know." With that he jumped off her and sat down a few tail lengths away. He made an lightning quick evalutaion of the skirmish and figured what he would teach her. She was good at getting back up and fighting. Endurance wasnt a problem. Good judgement would come with time but better fighting moves couldnt only be learned by him. WIth a nod he turned back to Amberpaw, "Do you know why you lost?" He was curt but his voice wasnt harsh. His once fire filled eyes once again reflected the broken soul inside.
Amberpaw struggled against his hold with a wimper before she loosened her muscles in defeat. She felt his warm breath on her neck, and his scent filled her nose. He smelled nice. She breathed her stress out when he told her she was dead. Dead things didn't know how sore they'd be in the morning. She stood up and breathed in deep, shaking the dirt and dust off of herself and wiping her lip. It had gone numb by now, and didn't bother her. He spoke and she looked up wuickly, standing straight and listening to his harsh voice. "I didn't judge your stances, my weight, or my strength right. Altogeather inexperience." She blushed madly, hearing her father's voice in the back of her head. 'Don't blame your mistakes on something, it's just you. Take the blame and say your sorry!' "I'm sorry!" She said sternly, forcing the words out of her lips to make the scolding go away. It worked, like always. Amberpaw looked away from her montor, knowing that if she pretended that wasn't awkward, he wouldn't ask. But Amberpaw had never gotten close to an episode in front of him before. Actually, she'd never had one in front of anyone but her brother. The scolding voice made her heart beat faster, and fear flush through her veins. Amberpaw stood still as a corpse now, eyes focused on her temporary mentor's toes.

Ivoryclaw lifted a brow, "Dont apologize. I dont want to hear it. What i want to hear is that you are eager to correct your mistake. Mistakes happen. Its apart of life. If we dont grow from them then we dont learn. I didnt start out as good as i am now. I had the stuffing kicked out of me by my mentor. He told me to not waste my breath on apologies. Save your precious breath for fighting. You are going to need it." With that Ivoryclaw stood and trotted a few steps away. "Alright, so you dont know how to judge one's strength or stances yet. That will come with time and more battles. What im going to teach your is the stances i used. The first one i used was complete strength. The second was speed and fluidity. Yet since i took teh same fighting pose you couldnt distiguish between either. Its a good trick to know when you are fighting any enemy. So come here and will show you how to do it." With that Amberpaw drew closer and Ivoryclaw moved in to position. "If you keep your paws in a strong stance but dont flex your muscles you can easily switch between speed and strength faster than the blink of an eye."
When Ivoryclaw trotted away, Amberpaw let out a sigh of relief. He didn't notice anything amiss. He asked her to come over, and she did, taking a place next to him. It was amaising how small she was compared to him, with just a few moons apart from their ages. She shook it off, matching his stance perfectly. It was easyer to do when she saw it from this angle, and had it fresh in her mind from before. She recalled little snapshots in her head of other images in fighting, connecting them to the moves that he explained. It was easy for her to remember, recall, and understand. She had a photographic memory, though she didn't know it, because cats have no name for that kind of thing. It was hard though, because if something she matched tosomething else suddenly didn't make sense, she had to connect the loose ends. Had to. It wasn't a choice, just a part of the disease.

When Ivoryclaw had finished showing her the move he stepped back and growled, "Prepare yourself. Im going to attack and i want you to use what i just taught you to defend and make an effective offensive attack. I dont care how many times you miss or fail. Just do it." With that He took an aggresive stance. One a normal warrior would use. Not one he used since she wouldnt be fighting him. He growled dangerously, sounding close to what the clan cats would describe a lion sounding like. Every hair on his pelt bristled, making him look fierce. He hated fighting that way since he always kept a level head and no emotions. Yet she had to know what a true battle would look like. He lept forward and aimed an expert paw at her front paws.
Trotting after her brother's scent, Florestadream paused for a second to watch Ivoryclaw and Amberpaw train. He was testing her an showing her how the enemy would fight. How interesting, she thought. Florestadream knew his true style -- emotionless -- frightful. She was the exact oppposite. She put all her emotions into fighting, and she wasn't embarassed by it, either. Of course she could get blinded by rage, but to her it helped her win. But upon watching the two train, she watched closely -- how Amberpaw just kept going going and going, abd Ivoryclaw gave a cold, cold shoulder like hia mentor had.
"How very interesting," Florestadream breathed, turning her head and following her brother's scent. Today truly would be a long day. How tiresome.
