With a mwroh, Florestadream padded in the direction of Ivoryclaw's voice. Humph... If it's a message from Whitestar, I might as well! she thought, stopping suddenly. She then heard Ivoryclaw and Amberpaw's voice, and as of late, Amberpaw did not seem very... kind towards Florestadream, not that she did not like the young apprentice. Her eyes narrowed, she evaded the whole event and bounded towards the camp. If he had a message from Whitestar, there had to be a good explanation, and she would have rathered it came from the leader himself. Boundry of their territory behind her, Florestadream gave a huff of breath and then pushed it -- she raced as fast as she could -- the sun had moved quite a lot during her little excursion -- she did not think of the fact that she would be needed.
oOc;; sorry if that was confusing -- i have been very frustrated as of late, and so my muse hasnt been running very smoothly.

Amberpaw walked on, frustration in every step. Why did he have to follow her? She stopped a step when he said "you are rather important to me" Her face dropped, but she regained it quickly and walked even faster. She listened to the reast of his speach with a clenched jaw, stopped a few yards away. No.. She didn't want her clan to join them. In all of what was left of her, she knew that her clan could not lose to them. She wouldn't let her clan lose. She thought of the last part. Helping him.. She might not be very good at that. She'd be willing to give it a try though. But a hero? She'd be a hero? She'd wanted to be the best, to fight for her clan and encourage othersto fight for their clan. To look up to her and want to be that good. But was that a hero? She thought it over. Yes, I guess it is, she concluded with a frown. She didn't like the word. It was too formal. Too social. She shied away from it in her mind as much as some people shyed away from death.
The she-cat turned to him, closing the distance between them again. She got too close, her nose was almost touching his. Her eyes sparkled with something, though not a distinguishable emotion. "Just don't call me hero, and we got a deal soft-paws." She felt he was uncomfortable at her closeness. She didn't give a care though. With half a smile, she turned around, flicking his nose with her tail and dashing off into the forest. Her emotionless face resumed, and she rushed through the green, searching for a scent of prey. Her heart was beating fast, but she wasn't sure why. It didn't usually beat that hard until at the very end of her training session with Ivoryclaw, or a hard run in the forest, clearing her head.
But this was better than the pure adrenaline, this was mose intense. She pondered over it, and realised her heartbeat had quickened when she stood that close to Ivoryclaw. That didn't make sense. Just standing near someone didn't affect the way your body worked. Amberpaw scoffed. She stalked a mouse now, only half her mind on the hunt. She killed it quickly, picking up another scent. No, it wouldn't make sense to her, because she'd never been taught about that. Of all her teachers, she'd never had someone who taught her about something like love.
ooc: sry for the long post, but I had alot of development to do, and couldn't find the right words to shorten it more. :\

Ivoryclaw pondered what she had said before she raced off. His jaw was left half open and he turned his eyes to the sky. "Okay..." he whispered to himself still trying to figure it out. She had gotten so close to him that he had been able to smell her scent, it was rather calming for one so young. He had seen her eyes glittered with an emotion he was apprehensive to study further. "Soft-paws?" he questioned to himself. Was that some sort of nick name for him? He knitted his brows at what she could have possibly meant by it, but he was left stumped. Perhaps it had something t do with what she had called him earlier. She had said he was old and gray, could she mean this as to torment him further about how old he looked by saying that he was sensitive about his paws like an elder? The white warrior was analyzing the she cats to much and only made himself more confused by its simplicity. He was left mulling around her words only to make it more complicated than it truely was. The only conclusion he could some up with is that he knew no more about Amberpaw's behavior than the day he met her. She was puzzling, challenging... He enjoyed that far much more than he would ever dare to admit. She was like him in many aspects but different enough in others to make him want to know more.
Silentstone tasted the air lightly, and caught the scent of Florestadream coming towards camp. With a short nod, he rose to his paws and padded carefully toward the camp entrance as she entered. "Where have you been?" he asked, teasingly harsh, pretending to be nosy as he stopped her with his tail.
ooc; a bit short, sorry. and random. don't know what to post. o-o;
With a roll of her eyes, Florestadream gave a friendly smile to Silentstone and said, "Off in my own musings," while she merely jumped over his tail. She was short, but she could jump. Her small laughter ringing in the air, she said, "Well, Ivoryclaw was calling me earlier... any reason as to why you think? Did Whitestar say anything to the clan?" Green eyes worried, she stopped in her tracks. Maybe something bad did get announced.
oOc;; short, but im in a rush! happy early halloween!

Silentstone blinked his innocent-looking, wide eyes. "No, there was no announcement," he assured her carefully. His dark eyes narrowed as he tilted his head, noticing her worried gaze. "Why? What would he have said?"
ooc: haha, too lazy to read the posts so i'm guessing that Whitestar has called a clan meeting... correct me if I am wrong.
ic: Mosspaw stared at Shadowstar with a stare so hard it could make a tough warrior shiver. She glared at the leader and growled. "You will not take over IvyClan. Ever." She turned around swiftly, about to head back to her clan camp. The DartClan leader laughed. "So much for a little apprentice to say!" he repeated. Mosspaw shook with anger. "I know the facts more than you do, Shadowstar." She didn't even turn around to speak the hatred words and left without waiting to hear the leader's response.
She ran to camp, exhausted and frustrated. Why couldn't she get Shadowstar to realize he was being a mouse-brained idiot and sounded just like a traitor? She felt like screaming at nothing, to release all her anger. The feelings were all inside of her, and about to explode. That was dangerous, the emotions inside. Mosspaw ran into camp, tears dripping down. Just into a clan meeting.
"Shadowstar... Shadowstar has declared war! He is sided with Sunstar and they formed NightClan and now they are going to attack us because we aren't joining but Sunstar really just joined because he was scared that Shadowstar would attack his clan and kill them so he's joined and now they won't lessen to me because they say i'm just a little apprentice but i just told the so much like how they're breaking StarClan's will by not having 4 clans in the forest and Shadowstar was making fun of me and saying that he would conquer IvyClan and I said that he would never but he just laughed and said he would and ohh!!" Mosspaw said, not taking a breath between her announcement. "And I don't think it's fair!!!"
Ivoryclaw entered the camp with a frown on his face. He wasnt particularly paying attention to what was going on. Not that he didn know what was going on. Ivyclan was at war, what else was there to know? With a harsh sigh and the events with Amberpaw weighing heavily on his mind he turned toward the warriors den. He would start his training tomorrow. As soon as the sun rose in the sky he would have to train the whole clan. At about sunhigh he would stop the session and teach strictly just Amberpaw. That was his resolve. She needed special attention in his training and despite everyone needing to know how he fought, Amberpaw's need outweighed theirs. Ivoryclaw would invest his time in to the young she cat because he knew that she was like an unpolished gem. With time and care she would shine brighter than anyone else ever could... including himself. Someday he would just be some old has-been while Amberpaw's name would be of legend.
Signalling Silentstone to follow her, Florestadream walked over to Mosspaw and comforted the young apprentice. "Shh... Listen, Mossi. Everything's been figured out -- our clan has a plan," she said eyes quiet. "If LakeClan joined him, that is their decision, not ours, and for a good reason. We are IvyClan -- we have thrived here for generations. We will win. Right Silentstone?" Florestadream's eyes pleaded for him to agree, even though they both knew it would be... difficult to win.

Silentstone caught her gaze for half a second before looking back toward Mosspaw. "Of course," he agreed carefully, but not with hesitation. "We will stick together, if nothing else. We're a Clan..." He trailed off, not obviously, but a thought had struck him that he didn't really want to share.
