"Water. Touching water." Nath mused to himself, quietly, as if in his own world now that he had been presented a puzzle. "Is every tunnel flooded to the brim? Or are there gaps of air?" Those gaps could be used to breathe, if one could find them and hold his breath long enough between them. Or was there some other solution? A trick? "Or, if they are, are they always flooded? Or is there a time when they are empty?" A jar of water? Perhaps that would work. Keep some part of the body within the jar at all times, always touching the water. Then it would be simple, and one could get to the other side. Maybe maybe maybe. The best way to find out was to try. "Oh, and the consequence of losing was?" If it was something small, he could try and try again until he succeeded. Surely the gain would outweigh the losses.

"If that was meant to be comforting, it was not."
"Everyone dies eventually. Once you are born, you begin to die."
"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
"Everything's flooded kid. The lake is about 15 to 20 feet deep and some tunnels go deeper. Seafang can breathe underwater so he doesn't have to worry about drowning. There's no consequence for losing. Seafang's just happy to have someone to play with. He gets pretty lonely in that lake. The Wavewalker's usually sleeping so he doesn't ahve anyone else to play with. Poor guy seems unable to leave the lake, not sure why." Nitrox shook his head again.
"Everything's flooded. Is it always flooded? And maybe..." Nath pondered, thinking aloud partially, too. "Maybe the only way he can be freed is by someone beating the game. Maybe that's how it's done. That's how it's done...If one could get him to unconsciously help, as he is probably somehow forced to get people to play a game. If one could bring air with them. Air tanks! Of course. A diver's air tank. Or two. That's how you could probably get through!"

IC: "Wait a minute -- you said we could summon weapons, right?" Korian asked. "How would one go about doing this? And could these weapons, say, utilize elements in their works? Such as a sword encompassing the powers of fire, or a flail embedded with gravity?"
"Or...a wand embedded with air!" Nath exclaimed. "And then you could put said bubble of air over your head and navigate through the tunnels without a worry!" He was getting excited now, eager to try it out and go play it. Maybe they would earn something, in fact, they probably would.

IC: "Or go totally god-like and use a water-powered weapon to displace the water in the tunnels," Korian added, shrugging. "Just an idea... But again, we still don't even know how to summon these weapons, so... Anyway, maybe we should get moving and figure this out once we get to it?"
"I don't know about magical weapons, I haven't summoned one like that before. I could ask Varneco about it," said Nitrox. "Who is Varneco?" asked Alex. "You'll get to meet him soon." At this time, a big brown wolf leapt out from the bushes. It spoke in an unknown language to Nitrox who nodded. "Alright, let's go," Nitrox said. "Where?" "To where Varneco and the others are." ------- After walking through the forest for about 15 minutes, the group arrived at a cave lit by the same torches in the cave with the suit of armor. In fact, that same suit of armor was standing in the back of the cave. Alex watched it carefully, expecting it to leap up and charge after her again, but it remained frozen. Giant wolves like the one from before were scattered around the cave. One had wings, another was on fire. Each wolf was different in some unique way. Near the armor was a dragon and a human who couldn't be that much older than Alex. On the head of the armor was the green eyed raven. "Where are we?" she asked Nitrox. "Home," he replied.
IC: "Where exactly is 'home,' though?" Kori asked. "And, furthermore, how do we turn back into humans?" He had moved over to the armor, observing it. Maybe there was some sort of movement device on it that he could copy once they got back to their own world...
"'Home' is in a random place in the demon realm on Earth. Mirror forest is the name of this place," the other human was speaking now. "The trees here grow...oddly. The grow both up and down. If you go underground, you can find trees hanging upside down from the ceiling. And if you want to turn back into a human, just imagine yourself as a human and if you want to change back, just imagine your demon form. Watch out for that armor too. Its armor is really thick and its pretty smart." "When I fought it, the armor tore easily," Alex said. "What!" the human jumped to his feet. "You made it easier for them?" He was looking at the raven now. "Kulzor had to split himself in order to fight all of them at once which weakened him quite a bit," the raven replied. The human seemed upset by this, but he didn't say anything else. "Aww, what's wrong Blake? The test was a bit too tough for you?" Nitrox laughed. Blake glared at him, but remained silent.
IC: "It's that easy?" Korian asked, raising an eyebrow. He turned back to the armor. "So then this thing has a name, huh? Weird." He had been saying "weird" a lot since he had arrived. Still, with the knowledge of how to turn back, he closed his eyes, imagining his human form. A second later, he felt himself shrinking a bit. Opening his eyes, he looked at his hand. Perfect. "Cool," he said.
